I just bought the Evo 2022 and awaiting it sometime by end of next week. Was getting a bit concerned with lots of reviews I've been watching regarding the noise issues, but your update in this video in regards to the barriers coming installed on newer orders makes me less nervous

I have the 2020 model and I do like it. I'll probably get a newer one in about 2 years and get an XL model. I like the Titan but I feel like XL would be a bit more comfortable for me.
Chairs are such a personal thing, what can be bad for me might be good for you, happy you're enjoying the 2020, the 2022 is definitely a step up, at least for me and I'm sure you'll enjoy it

It holds up very well but you definitely don't want to eat on it. Water stains show and if you're an oily person I'd avoid being shirtless too much, over time you might see slight yellowing. If you decide to buy I'd super appreciate you using my link
Hi Jacob, how did you go about setting the lumbar support? I can’t get the right setting and it’s really uncomfortable.

I wouldnt call the secret lab a gaming chair now. Theyve really changed the game and made an easy on the eyes modern chair for a good price. I tried the 2019-2020 version where they first had tge built in lumbar. It was too hard and hurt my back and thighs more. And the lumbar was too low for myself. I just got the 2022 evo xl on may fourth after ordering it 2 days before. I love it so far. I probably woukd have been fine in the regular version but i like having a little room. Im having issues with the backrest not coming back up like it should - like the mechanism is broken or not adjusted correctly, but ive contacted secret lab for a warranty claim.
It is still a harder seat but its not as bad as the prior models were. And the fact i can do financing on it is a plus too.
Until they stop making stupid racing seats, it's a gaming chair.

I have bought one 2 weeks ago and the barrier kit is not installed, i wrote support and sended them the video of the noises, seatbase and they send it to me, but not installed beforehand
Aww man, I have a new black softweave I received a few weeks ago, now that I inspect it up close the kit isn't installed but there's no noise

Hey Jacob, just checking if you had any issues with the seat sagging after some time. I'm currently 6 months into my chair and I noticed that the seats have my butt impressions and the leather is somewhat loose fitting. Let me know if you're experiencing the same issues. My is the leatherette Evo 2022 royal
I've had no issues on my end and it still feels new, I use it about 5-6 hours a day and have softweave

I use a respawn gaming chair I bought for like $120 and after about 8 months or so of owning it my chair does the same thing with the sagging, the lumbar support is also really deflated, probably time for a new chair lol

when you crank the lumbar support all the way down can you get rid of the lumbar bulge. I'm looking for a chair with a flat back and not lumbar bulge for support.
Why would you want a chair without Lumbar support? You'll end up with back pain pretty quickly
@@ofrenic lumbar support encourages hyperextension of the spine which hinders diaphragmatic breathing; hence a flat back chair is what I'm looking for. Do you have an answer to my question?
@@MOVIEKICKS oh so it's harder to breath while sitting with lumbar support? Never knew that.
But yeah if you put the support down the whole way it's pretty much flat.
@@ofrenicDiaphragmatic breathing is a healthy way to breathe especially while relaxing in a chair and lumbar supports (that encourage hyperextension of the lumbar spine) hinder diaphragmatic breathing. You still breathe with a lumbar support, but not as well as with a flat back chair and you might be more inclined to use accessory muscles to assist with the breathing.

It’s hard for me to find the “sweet spot” on the lumbar support, anyone have some tips on that?
I just got mine and honestly you just gotta play around it and get a feel for what's best for you. I played around with it as much as I could until I finally hit a spot where I was like ok this is it. Best recommendation I'd have is make very small adjustments at a time until you finally feel like it's good to go

Does the artic white get dirty easily? On the fence between artic white and cookies and cream.
I wouldn't say easily but 9-10 months later and I'm just starting to notice a bit of browning along some of the edges even though I take great care of it

Where's the footage of the underside of the 2022? You show the issue from the 2020 but don't show what they did to improve the design.
