Thanks so much for this! Finally what I've always wanted in a multi effect! A lot of us have tube amps and want the front end all analog but have effects loops on our Amps and would like to run digital effects after the pre amp. Now I have the ability to run one single pedal for all the sounds I don't use often but still want to have at my disposal. The algorithms are of great quality. Zoom really cornered the market with this bad boy.
The vibe patch starts at 9:36. Not bad for a multi effect device.

In mono?
It's a stereo out product and he did it in mono out. I'm guessing a lot of the effects would sound a lot more different had he done the test properly with a stereo out pair.
It may have a mono source (guitar) but many of the MS-70CDRs effects are in stereo.

It does if you have the V3.+ firmware and the effects manager software. You can swap in effects from the the MS-50g 60b or 70CDR. there's 172 effects distortions and amp sims to chooee from although you can only install 100 or so at the same time. I actually prefer to reduce the number of effects down to just my favourites. there's only so many Chorus and Reverb flavours a person needs. I like to keep it simple.
I think this will be my delay pedal ... wanted the mxr carbon copy or boss dm2, but they are pricey, this is more affordable

Does the pedal allow turning the dry signal off and have 100% wet? I am thinking of buying this and putting it on a dry signal blender since I don't want any toneloss from bypassing through the Zoom.

well, that just shows 50% of this pedal power. the other half is on R channel. most of the effects are way better when in stereo
So many sound almost identical. No distortion/overdrive on this pedal folks.
Is roto closet a simulation of Dunlop Rotovibe? What does the parameter Bal?

Thanks for taking the time to go through every effect. Why not make sure the guitar was in tune first? That B string being flat makes it impossible to listen after about 2 minutes!
I use this pedal on a joyo pxl 8 with other 7 pedals. When I activate the loop of the zoom, there's a volume drop in the sound that doesn't exist with the other pedals in the loop. I have to put the level in the effects at maximum to equilibrate the volume. What could be the reason of that? The pedal is new, it could be some failure?

HI, can the left and right sides of this thing function essentially as two mono units? is it possible to assign the individual effects to only one side or the other? FOR INSTANCE : Hall/eq/ comp on the left signal . Delay/ chorus/ parametric eq on the right. I want to plug an acoustic guitar on one side , voice on the other, then send the signals to 2 seperate channels on a mixer.
Um you did not sample any distortion like what does that sound like how could you not include that in the demo 🤔
Noticed a number of effects in the video that I don’t have in mine. Got mine new December 2022. Weird, guess I should check if there’s an updated version.

Hello man, great demo. I'm about buying this unit but I have two questions that are killing me ... I've read in the manual that you can chain 6 effects at the same time, but it also says that some effects use more 'room' than others so maybe you can only chain 5 effects or maybe less .... now: CAN I REPEAT EFFECTS, LIKE CHAINING 3 SHIMMER REVERS AT THE SAME TIME?? and ... HOW MANY SHIMMER REVERBS CAN I CHAIN (in case you can repeat effects) AS MAXIMUM?? Because I suppose that Reverbs are the 'heavy effects' to load so there's no room for more effects. HOPE YOU REPLY, CHEERS :)
Hi, you can repeat most effects, I've tried successfully 4xHD reverb which is a heavy CPU effect, but you can't even double the Shimmer Reverb! It looks like it is one the most CPU consuming effect of this pedal, you can chain it with most other effects, but not with itself. For the price, you can't go wrong with this pedal, reverbs are sounding a bit too digital, but I use it anyway as my main reverb/delay unit instead of my Vox AC15 built-in spring reverb. I thought you could use at least 2 Shimmer Reverbs, now I know I couldn't, but could I use 1 Shimmer and at least 2 Ice Delay (or any other delays) at the same time ?? .... and does it happen exactly the same with Particle and Mangled Reverb (can't be repeated, but used with 2 Ice Delay or other delays)? ... I did the mistake of listening to Strymon pedals before I checked this out. Now this sounds so inferior... :-/
cuckoomusic I agree Strymon pedal are one of the best sounding but do cost an arm and a leg. Try TC Electronic pedals, they have a very similar quality sound for 1/4 of the price. I love the Zoom interface but the quality of sound is not all that great. I will have to try one in the store to be sure.

Thanks for the demo! I just bought this pedal and I'm having difficulties to patch the factory presets into the memory.. Any ideas that might be of help?
If you mean adding the factory patches to the A/B setlist, you should be able to no problem. If you meant adding them to the user memory banks, I dont think you can copy and paste them there. But you can just copy all their settings for a particular patch down on a piece of paper and then reprogram that patch into the user banks yourself. Pain in the ass, but it can be done if you really want them. I think the downloadable manual on the website is more in depth than the one that comes in the box. This pedal is a pain to figure out but its worth it.
Any one thinking they get a good idea of what a pedal sounds like off you tube are missing out of good pedals that dont sound good on TH-cam, check out burbs demo of this for much higher quality

yes. You can make presets, then mark them with letters A, B, C etc and then switch in alphabetic order with the central button

It's very easy to learn to use but would be awkward to make adjustments if you're using it live.
That said it has an A-B-C (and so on) function so with the right planning and set up you could scroll through the patches you want to use, in the order you want to use them using just the footswitch.
Very versatile pedal that would be great for recording. Jah bless

No, this one, stock, was all reverbs and delays with some other stuff. It didn't have any amp sims. Now, you can add them- there is a zoom program and a non-zoom program that will let you have access to every effect between them on 1 or the other pedal- Zoom did a firmware update a few years ago that opened up all effects in all their 'multi-stomp' line. Not all at once, due to space limitations, but you can still cram a lot on there, and then with your computer switch them out however you like and then save them back to the pedal. Super versatile- either one. The differences between the two are pretty much color, and I think the CDR has stereo in and out vs the MS50 which has mono-in and stereo - out. Either of them are dirt cheap for what you can do with them. I have 2, 1 for playing and one for a backup in case mine inevitably dies.
