Julie Moro they’re touching but barrier touching. I think it’s interesting in Jess’s system everyone is almost related. Does that mean they are not fully separated?
Now this definitely makes sense now I can totally relate now 😄 I have alot of different personalities in my head talking to me at once in my head, they talk to eachother and I fool around with them.
Aren't we all living in a massive group project called "Humanity"? Seriously, I feel like this video is about DID, and DID is about all of us! Learning to love each other is learning to love ourselves. I know, it 'sounds' fluffy bunny, but it FEELS right.
KellyFidero I couldn’t agree more. I seriously love this video so much. I’ve watch it a couple times now. I love them all & their very different personalities. 😍🥰
From this video I love Ed even more and the actor is amazing. He was very mysterious before but he is actually very complex and I love how his lover is The Protector.
We need a full length movie with all the actors that portrays DID ACCURATELY to better educate society. Not the drivel Hollywood keeps making but a real story. One based in truth and facts not salacious stereotypes. Imo Thats the best way to destroy the stigma and change the inaccurate narrative. Which is exactly what yall are doing here on TH-cam but i would love to see it on a larger platform to a larger audience like the big screen or hell even Netflix would be amazing!
or "Frankie and Alice" with Halle Berry, I don't think many people know about this movie (and it's based on a real person with DID). I'm not sure --personally-- how well it does at showing someone's own situation, but Ms. Berry said she "did meet the real Frankie and Alice, but I didn't meet her until after the process was over. We talked to her, and our writers interviewed her, but the real Frankie didn't remember much as the movie will suggest. So my research was more reading books on the subject. And I actually met a doctor that was willing to answer all of my questions, and he actually allowed me to see hours and hours of real tape of real patients in the therapeutic process going through all of their multiples and struggling with bringing them all together" [www.npr.org/2010/12/31/132527850/Halle-Berry-Opens-Up-About-New-Role] They had the movie on Netflix at one point (which was how I first saw it), however, they have since removed it... I can't exactly remember how long it's been, but probably a few years. A couple of notes: * This movie is R Rated for its s*xual content, language, and dr*g use, so TW for whoever sees this comment and chooses to watch it. * It's about 1:41 (hour & minutes) * TW again - some of the language used is racist, but it's based in the 1970s about a black woman (Frankie) who has a racist white alter (Alice) Anyway, I think this movie is good, and I #HighlyRecommend! Then again this is just my opinion. PS. I know this was long *facepalm*
Not a movie, and only 2 headmates, but I recommend taking a look at Xenoblade Chronicles 2. The system from that game also managed to be the first multiple in Super Smash Bros.
Dito except i was at work haha standing in the bar spinning around. I noticed u could swipe but it was cool moving about it felt like i was really stood in the middle of it all which was super cool.

I gained a huge amount of respect for people with DID I was struggling so much trying to focus with moving to see who was talking as well as keeping up with what multiple people say at the same time. I can't imagine doing that every day.

Seeing the bit where the protector alters try to step in between Ed and Jessie was really illuminating actually...that was the part of the video where the idea of alters as a coping strategy for the brain really stood in focus. I don't have DID, but I do have an anxiety disorder, and there are parts of myself I don't like or hold a grudge against because of something that happened in the past. I could actually relate a tiny bit with that exchange between them all at that point even though those different parts of myself don't have actual different states of consciousness and individual personalities. It feels sort of like what I know about anxiety and trauma processing, but magnified and amplified (not to mention personified). All this to say...you're helping and reaching people who have history with anxiety and trauma who don't have DID too. Thanks. :)
I could have written this comment! That was the exact moment that DID clicked in my brain. Not only can I comprehend this immensely complicated situation, I UNDERSTAND ♡ I WANTED TO HUG THEM ALL ♡ I also deal with anxiety. As well as cptsd, bpd and adhd. I can relate to this whole system on such a beautifuly heartbreaking level.
I do have D.I.D. And this is the best thing I’ve seen to help other people understand this mental health illness. I’m hoping my family will watch it. I can relate so much to Jess and all of her alters. Wishing I could do something like this with my alters. 🙂
The part where Jess gets overwhelmed when the boys start talking amongst themselves is so so accurate. I'm going to show people this when they think I'm being rude when I can't focus on what they're saying because it's so loud in my head. I can't get over how good and informative it was. I don't think I will ever be able to do this with my parts, how brave you all are. Thank you guys
Honestly I could feel myself getting overwhelmed at that point in the video. Sensory overload is a major thing and it's even worse when the people around you can't hear the noise in your head so don't understand why you're so overwhelmed
The actors in this are so amazing, sometimes I feel like I’m intruding on an actual familial conversation, I know a lot of what they are saying is verbatim anyway, and that with all five of their acting skills makes for a really powerful piece, that sometimes makes me feel like i shouldn’t be watching it, because the bond they have with each other seems so intimate and private
Yeah that's what Ed said. I agree with him. I'm impressed that he agreed to this anyway, to e.g. educate people like me. I'm thankful to all of them for this experience.

This was probably the best use of 360 videography I've ever seen. Praying that your therapy sessions are helpful to the whole system. Jess, you and the boys are amazing.
I was diagnosed with D.I.D in August last year and it been REALLY hard to explain how our mind works to family and close friends, but this.. thank you. From all in our system for creating this, youve all help to bring a small light into how something so strange happens 💜
So Ed Jamie and Ollie are like a family unit inside the system. That's fascinating. I loved this it truly gives a nice perspective inside the headspace.

@@salometipsandtricks2786 the needle in the vaccine isn’t even large enough to even distribute a micro chip let alone an RFID. MultiplicityAndMe im curious how dose it work with different Alters having different partners or sexualities, and how dose that work with Jess having a husband???
When everyone started talking at once I cringed on how accurate it was. Also, seeing this makes me feel more “normal” somehow. Because... it’s just people talking, just like every other human does. We are just people, there’s nothing wrong with us
@Madam Meouff it is also frustrating when you front a bunch and are the only alter who doesnt identify with the sex of the body. Dysphoria is a bitch. We have 2 "hosts" in our system me being one of them and the one who has been around since middle school to college. So most people know us as the name I go by...
Exactly how I felt seeing this, I was surprised it was done actually, but it made me feel a lot better. Seeing this comment also made me feel better, I thank you for that!
The 5 Things™ at the end made me cry. I tell this to my friend with DID when they're all having a panic. I hope she can have this kind of relationship with her alters.
My system and I are working on a project that will mostly be photos portraying all of us together but if I can find the right videographer we might be doing video too
This is absolutely brilliant. Before yesterday i had no idea DID was such a normal thing. I’d only had knowledge from media like Split, or people in insane asylums. I’d always been taught that people who have alters, multiple identities, or people who have schizophrenia and hear multiple voices in their head, were all insane with strait jackets in padded rooms, but that proves how far we are in the education of mental health. I would love to see a full lenght movie on DID with actual educated and empathetic actors, or perhaps actors who actually have DID, so that in the future we can encourage more resources and empathy for people with DID. The ending especially touched me as someone with anxiety who suffers from panic attacks especially at night since childhood. I’m so thankful for all of your efforts and bravery for coming forward and being willing to show all of yourselves to the world, especially Ed, i realize how difficult it must be for him. Thank you so much, this was such a beautiful piece
I don't know if anyone's said this yet but thankyou to Ed for agreeing to be apart of this video even though it seems he wasn't fully on board with the idea. I guess he doesn't really like attention but I have to admit I was drawn to him throughout the video and it's lovely to see how Jamie helps him and the situation. This is such an eye opening video and well done to the actors and to Jess as well for having the courage to make this happen. It must've been hard coming up with an overall idea like this and being able to turn it into a real life sketch but a huge round of applause for you all, I think everyone did a great job. I'd love to see more things like this or similar to in the future and hope you guys get the chance to continue raising awareness and helping end the stigmas and stereotypes that come with this disorder. Much love to all 😊
I teared up seing the relationship Ed & Jamie have including their son. I can see a lot of myself in Ed. I wish I'd have such a wonderful relationship going on. But I'm pretty much lonely. Please let Ed & Jamie know how much I adore them and that I wish them both all the best. ♡
This project is so original. Like I believe it could be a new form of therapy for people with DID. Even though it's scripted, it's the real reactions of the alters and the actors are just speaking for them. Truly amazing.

Ollie: “The stereotype about being psychotic killers!” Ed: “...yes...stereotype...excuse me while I just nonchalantly pack away my heavy duty cleaning supplies” I will forever view Ed as the Daddy who will kill for his beans(Jess, Ollie and Eevee)
As someone with DID this made me so happy. People always think there's some evil part of us plotting away and this shows that we're just a puzzle that sometimes has a hard time fitting together but if we work properly together, you'll see the beautiful picture at the end
I think Ed portrays something very important that a lot of people (without DID) go through.. some people who have really traumatic childhoods and never had a fair chance/ended up in not the best situations.. live their lives thinking they are "bad people, no hope for them, undeserving etc etc". They are unable to see the good in themselves - even when everyone around them CAN see the good. The things you have gone through dont ever make you a bad person. Listen to all the people around you, who love you! Listen to all the good things they have to say about you. They are saying it for a reason - it's TRUE! And know that you can heal from your traumas. Your traumas dont define your future. You define your future.
One of my systems friends referred to the alter who was made to front during the trama as "the sacrificial lamb" this actually helped them feel better even though they still resented the part who decided to make them that person.. they feel more whole because well.. after looking into why you would have an alter who presents as your abuser. We all fused. Then split off into the same parts but slightly different and well.. they became a new fused alter who is better able to handle what happened. (Basically with fusion it's like magnets and since the part that "the lamb" had to fuse with was already fused together with 2 other parts.. they fused with all of us.. sucked for 2 days as I have separation anxiety and I ultimately caused us to split..) we are only 3 parts now.
I get overwhelmed so easily, Jess's reaction when everyone is talking is honestly how I felt watching this whole video. It was rlly disorienting. I can't imagine what it would be like to hear multiple conversations all the time, thank you for making this video! A week ago I didn't even know what DID was so this was very interesting to watch.
With Ollie too! Watching their interactions is really beautiful. It’s one thing to hear about the inner world, but having a visual representation of how they work together is incredible.
*Jess:* You are a great host (as far as I can tell) and I am in awe of what you have acchieved. *Jake:* Jamie was absolutely right. Your positivity and kindness leaves me in awe. Thanks for putting a smile on my face. *Olli:* You seem like such a cool dude, I love "having you around". You continue to impress me with your maturity! *Ed:* I understand your reluctance to share your life with the internet - so it means a lot that you participate anyway. You seem like the kind of person I would love to get to know better. *Jamie:* Well done moderating! I feel you control the chaos and look out for everyone - which is super important when constantly being a team. Good job. Thank you (all) so much for letting us in on your conversation.
Honestly I cried when Oli talked about how great his dads are He and I are similar in age and it's so sweet to see someone my age that close to their parents
18:20 I cried when Jake (Will sid Smith) explained how he wanted to travel and do things for himself. like he didn´t have the chance for a life. All the fans are praising Ed´s actor and he's amazing, but i just wanted to say that you all are :) .
I got a bit teared up when you explained to Ed that he's not a bad alter and I also got teared up when they described him because he couldnt describe himself well enough. A lot of people can relate to that sort of misunderstood-alien in the family, including me, so Im just so happy to see Ed expanding with Jamie by his side and showing his true self, that is a good self.
The confrontation between Ed and Jess was powerful, and how it opened up this whole dialogue between all of you about things you've all wanted to say to one another but couldn't until now was so vulnerable and raw and gave such an amazing insight to something we'd otherwise not ever be honored to see. Thank you and thank you to the amazing actors who have stayed with you all.
At time of writing this comment I'm a little over half way through but I just had to say these things: 1. Jess looks so proud everytime I turn the camera towards her of the other actors/alters. 2. I love Tom as an actor and I love how he portrays Ed. 3. I love love love the little small interactions between Ed and Jamie which make it really clear they are a loving couple and caring of each other.
Ok few things: 1. Jamie and Ed’s relationship is soooo cute 2. Ollie’s actor is 😍 3. This was an absolutely incredible thing to do so thank you. 4. I now need to watch this 5 more times. Each time, I’ll focus on the body language of only one person.
As someone part of a system, this made me and my alters so happy. I’m so filled with joy to see that we’re not alone. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for making this
Honest question.. is it wrong that I literally want all of them to have a tv show ? Or these actors to portray all the alters in a tv show? Honestly I love every single one so much!!! Everyone is so unique! It helps to understand the conflict better and what it means to be all these wonderful people! This was honestly one of the best projects I’ve ever seen on the internet before!!!😍😱 What an eye opener !
Holy shit am I teary eyed, I don't have DID but my partner does and this is so wonderful, to see the alters be who they are outside of headspace and interact as a normal family which is what all children and people who experienced repeated pain deserve a normal, happy family, I know not all systems get along like yin and yang but each system is so unique and just as important as the next, I know this video isn't that recent but even so I'm happy I found it, Agh you have me choking up I wish for even just a day my partner's alters can have a physical body outside of headspace, even just for a day...
MultiplicityAndMe ah thank you for replying!! x and well of course the actor is the closest I can get to really seeing you I guess, but I really like your style and your personality as well 😊
honestly watching this I had the same reaction as Ed. I personally would be terrified to show the world how we all interact and how we see ourselves and each other. Major props to all of you for being brave enough to do this.
I’m so sorry for the trauma that you went through but I absolutely adore each alter and am thrilled that each exists. (Especially Sir Ed. He should be knighted.) Thank you for being vulnerable enough for sharing your journey and lives with us. I learned so much. This video is so enlightening. How hard it must be to be sharing one body with five different people. Thank you to all of you for trusting us to share and educate.
Oh god yes!!! Sir Ed! I adore Ed. So openly honest, so witty and so caring. This is a fantastic project. So insightful and educational. Keep up the awesome work.
Ed reminds me of myself a bit. He's somewhat edgy but more mature than his younger or teen years, he's grown as a person and is misunderstood. Some People think of him as bad when that's not the case. He's not bad, he's just been hurt. And the work he's done to become the strong protector of his son Ollie is beautiful and shows how good he is. I relate as I've was quite self destructive as a teen+ and people thought I was "bad" or "evil" but really I was just DEEPLY hurting, and I hurt myself to deal with that. I lashed out at others so they couldn't get close enough to hurt me. But slowly as I grew I found REAL friends and supports and was able to warm up over time. It made things easier and now my life is a LOT better. It's NOT perfect, but it's better and I Do every thing I can to protect my Baby Cat who I love as my daughter. I'm so proud of the whole system for their growth.
There's an Australian DID system that was recently in national news because not only were alter testimonies accepted as witness testimony in court, but they actually won the court case and sent their abuser to jail for 45 years, which is probably how long ago the abuse started. That is Jeni Haynes and her army of 2,500 alters and fragments. This video is a 7 minute piece talking about Jeni's condition (still referred to as Multiple Personality Disorder), and talking about feeling free now that it's over: th-cam.com/video/cS2AndkBux8/w-d-xo.html 60 Minutes did a longer (40+ minute) piece on Jeni Haynes and her army. This one may be triggering to some, since there is a little more detail and you find out some long-term effects of the abuse that will make your heart hurt, even if you haven't experienced anything traumatic yourself: th-cam.com/video/lsXFcbPbvI4/w-d-xo.html
Okay this is super valuable and beautifully done but it just have to say Ed calling Ollie 'Lolliepop' is the cutest - protective/ safe dad mode is interesting coming from Ed just since we usually don't get to see how he interacts with Ollie, which is why projects like this are so important. Sending a safe cwtch all your way 💛
This is one of the coolest things ever. All people involved in portraying these alters, really do a great job.. I know this comment is rather late, but I didn't see this until now. The entire idea of this is beautiful. To be able to give everyone the chance to inhabit the outter world simultaneously, well.. The closest to it. I also think it's beautiful that everyone had a chance to get things off their chest to really work out struggles and come to an understanding. I understand why Ed is so cautious of the internet though, and I really respect him in all ways pertaining it. Because he could very well just leave it at "F* that" and not participate at all etc.. I remember one video he was very upset, and I felt bad for him as well as everyone through that ordeal. I'm glad to see things progressively... I'm having trouble finding the right words here, in basic terms.. Getting better.. You all seem like sweet people, (And the actors too), and I cannot fully convey through words just what seeing this means to me personally.. And I admit I'm not yet comfortable. But your messages in this video, really give hope for overall acceptance and understanding of DID. It's scary to be in a spotlight.. But there are enough good people who have your back. Of that I'm certain. Love to you all, your connection and courage is so admirable. I'm sorry this is so long though. But really.. Thank you again.
Me too 💚 I think it’s the love between them all. Though there maybe tension, fear or wishing for something else. Deep down love is what moves them together. 🥰
How awesome would it be if one day they could create a “VR connection” where they connect peoples minds “together” so those with DID could actually interact with each other in a full dive interactive environment
Jess, you're the only one I know with DID (not that I know many people with it) who cares enough to really try and spread the word about DID and the truth. This VR project is awesome and I hope for you to keep it up. Maybe get to the point where you can make a movie or short film with the alter actors. Love all of you and keep destroying misconceptions.
Check out DissodiaDID, The Entropy System and TeamPinata! They're all amazing channels about DID, my favorites along Multiplicity and Me, the first to be created. The DID comunity on youtube is amazing and is growing day by day!
I agree. I am blown away at how accurate this is. One of the most frustrating parts of having DID is trying to explain to others what it's like living with it. I will be showing them ALL this video. Thank you again. This makes me feel less like a freak and more understood.
Thank you all. Its so nice to have any media of people with DID that doesnt demonize us, especially something real like this video. Hopefully this video helps erase some of the stigma for us
This honestly made me cry, we just know we'll never have all of us visualised in the same space, we don't even have a headspace so all of our communication is during co-conscious... we just need to piece our puzzle together but it's so hard for us because we don't even have a diagnosis yet... One day, I hope we can all semi stand in the same room as each other, I absolutely love all of us, and it's probably really difficult but I'd love to talk to everyone face to face... - Bun
After watching this for the millionth time, I absolutely adore this, it’s so fascinating, I just want to comment about how much I love the switch we see when Ed talks to Ollie, calling him “lollipop” and “darling” and just how his voice and even his face softens, Thomas is a phenomenal actor.
When Jess and Jake hugged I teared up, but when Ollie, Jamie and Ed touched I definitely cried. This is the first video I’ve ever watched from you, but seeing all your alters together and happy made me happy too. Ed and Jamie’s relationship and physical interactions make me wanna cry and idk why. I’ve known this system for 20 minutes and I wish them all the best in the world💜✨
I’ve never really considered some of the things they said! This was phenomenal. I’ve never considered they’d form inner families or be envious of one another. Or simply how strong they are and how selfless they were in regards to not just the body but to each other. The sheer determination to keep Oliver safe and happy made me really step back and rethink how I usually processed DID. Honestly? I don’t regret clicking and I hope to learn more so I can stray really far from Hollywood stereotypes of mental health issues. I hope the system, everyone in it individually and the fellow commenters on the video stay safe and know they are loved and valid!
This is such a small thing but the bit at 15:40 where Ed calls ollie "olliepop" and explains it to him is so wholesome 😭 Ed and Jaimie are such good parents
Jake is so adorable! Plus I think I relate a lot to Ollie. This video has made me realize that I'm not only Host but I'm possibly an Emotional protector as well. I felt every single word that Ollie said about all of you going through trauma... So thank you for that Ollie! ❤ -Haylie (The Rainbow Kingdom System)
To this whole system, I want to say thank you. I'm Kyrie. I've been told that I'm a part of a system by some other people that know 'the others'. I absolutely HATE not looking like myself, it's horrible. I don't know why or how but this video and channel have helped calm me and make me feel, better. Thank you to you all. Kyrie.
Kyrie, I am sorry for the body dysphoria you are experiencing. If thats the right term to usw. It must ne so tough bring seen as someone you are not. All the best to you and your system.
DID is not only such an incredibly difficult thing for others to understand, but also, for a person with DID, to self-reflect on the “form” of what’s transpiring inside. For a very long time I told my therapist that “I can’t see myself”… meaning that I wanted to take a step back and see the big picture in order to grasp the totality of what’s going on. But I couldn’t. All I could get was transient glimpses of a variety of different angles of perception… but never an all encompassing view of myself. This video changed that. Honestly. This video provides exquisite explanatory imagery and perspective that up until watching this I did not have. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for making this production. ❤🙏
I LOVED IT. But honestly, this really shows us that there's actually separate people going on in that body/system. That headache part really added something else. Love you guys!
This is so incredible, and it gave me a much better sense of Jake's relationship to and within the system, what his role is, how he protects Jess. I just want him to go out and have a good time! (Also all the other alters are so lovely and amazing! Ollie has stolen my heart and Ed and Jamie are so sweet on each other its actually really beautiful)
I had...chills..run down my spine..and tbh its usually my body telling me to switch.. Telling me "someone needs to take over to ensure theyre not alone".. I wanna cry so badly knowing that im not alone with this..
Wow. This literally gave us chills. We’ve put off watching it because we are easily triggered into depersonalization and derealization when things are too relatable. So glad we finally watched it! Didn’t trigger us but made us feel so, so valid! Thank you for always having amazing content and for all the hard work that went into this.
This feels like watching a Sanders Sides episode. On a more serious note, this is amazing and so original. The interactions feel so real and I truly feel like I'm there and understand. I was close to tears everytime they touched each other
I think in a kind of way maybe that was the initial beginning of intention with the like button but humanity made a social status and self esteem depending of other esteem of yourself and people are mentally sad bad and sick because this web social culture so idk
Ed, I’m so proud of you. You’ve come a long way in discovering yourself and your purpose. It doesn’t matter what you were originally made for, it doesn’t define you as a person. We all grow, and sometimes that means struggling along the way. Jess is right, you were never bad, just different. And different is ok. Also actor or not, you’re still very handsome and I absolutely love your fashion sense!
Jameson Redmond What was he originally made for? I can see he is sweet at his core and simply holds a lot of pain and resentment, but I was triggered when he said "I'd be taller and skinnier." That was such a low blow attack.
Angel Wings sorry, I couldn’t tell you exactly because I’m not him and I’m not Jess but just from what I could gather, he came out at a pretty dark time. Ed and Jess were both going through some things probably and that will always be something they’ve been through together that’s a part of both of them. I just meant that sure they’ve been through the same traumatic thing, but that thing does not define them. And he’s grown so much as a person and I just wanted him to realize the past does not define us. And he is such an amazing person with an amazing role. An important role.
Jameson Redmond I personally don't find that blunt, I find it unnecessarily rude and words like that can really hurt and scar people. He also flat out said he didn't like Jess (how you couldn't like her is beyond me) when Jess has more a reason not to like him. I hope they work out the obvious tension still there between them so they can get closer and move on together.
I think Ed was created to be a persecutor. He is made to persecute Jess as well as find her at fault for the things that happened to her and her reaction to them. A lot of us has a voice inside that says mean things to us and about us. Her's has a name and is a whole person unto himself. That is his job, but he and Jess are learning that she doesn't need to be attacked and can live with out that aggression and Ed is calming down and finding more outlets for his anger over time.
Starting off with saying that I don't have DID, but I'm educating myself on it and devouring every detail about it. I'm very grateful that you allowed me to see what a day looks like with DID for you. Thank you all for sharing such an incredible experience ❤ I loved the complexity and the intimacy of you alls relationships, and how you navigate with one another. Thank you for the visual!
This video was intense. I’m not really sure what I thought it would be like to have personalities in me. I guess in a way, as an introvert, I thought it would be great having people in my life all the time but after this video I can honestly say I’m very overwhelmed by it. To Jess and the Boys, I applaud you for being so honest and open. I’m thankful you have each other and us for support.
It's not fun to have DID. Because of my 5 alters I have lost hours, days and weeks as well as ending up with hundreds of stitches all over my body. My alters are no where close to allowing me in.
The craziest thing is seeing alters touch each other.
@@yasminvillanueva3141 💛
In head space, isn't touch is just a method of emotional expression?
Hahahaha
Man having DID is like working with different types of people for a group project. Without everyone's cooperation, there will only be chaos.
Oh my God yes it's hard for me since I'm not good with others
Yup... pretty much
I’m usually the one to that does all the work in group projects😂
It’s war 💀 like u have no idea
Aren't we all living in a massive group project called "Humanity"? Seriously, I feel like this video is about DID, and DID is about all of us! Learning to love each other is learning to love ourselves. I know, it 'sounds' fluffy bunny, but it FEELS right.
Ed's actor literally killed it.
Yeah. He reminds me of me. Better yet, I can relate to all of them.
thats what i thought to- Ed reminds me a bit of our alters and it was so interesting to watch his(Ed's) mannerisms and such being portrayed like this.
Thomas feels like he's actually channeling Ed. He's not "acting like Ed" he's speaking for Ed. It's beautiful.
KellyFidero I couldn’t agree more. I seriously love this video so much. I’ve watch it a couple times now. I love them all & their very different personalities. 😍🥰
He reminds me of the guy from umbrella Academy
Ed is so much like Sam (my best friend and one of my alters) except for the kind of goth part.
Sam also has an egocentric boyfriend!
From this video I love Ed even more and the actor is amazing. He was very mysterious before but he is actually very complex and I love how his lover is The Protector.
Ed is my favorite

We need a full length movie with all the actors that portrays DID ACCURATELY to better educate society. Not the drivel Hollywood keeps making but a real story. One based in truth and facts not salacious stereotypes. Imo Thats the best way to destroy the stigma and change the inaccurate narrative. Which is exactly what yall are doing here on TH-cam but i would love to see it on a larger platform to a larger audience like the big screen or hell even Netflix would be amazing!
watch mr. robot
or "Frankie and Alice" with Halle Berry, I don't think many people know about this movie (and it's based on a real person with DID).
And I actually met a doctor that was willing to answer all of my questions, and he actually allowed me to see hours and hours of real tape of real patients in the therapeutic process going through all of their multiples and struggling with bringing them all together" [www.npr.org/2010/12/31/132527850/Halle-Berry-Opens-Up-About-New-Role]
They had the movie on Netflix at one point (which was how I first saw it), however, they have since removed it... I can't exactly remember how long it's been, but probably a few years.
A couple of notes:
* This movie is R Rated for its s*xual content, language, and dr*g use, so TW for whoever sees this comment and chooses to watch it.
* It's about 1:41 (hour & minutes)
* TW again - some of the language used is racist, but it's based in the 1970s about a black woman (Frankie) who has a racist white alter (Alice)
Anyway, I think this movie is good, and I #HighlyRecommend! Then again this is just my opinion. PS. I know this was long *facepalm*
yes, a good movie about DID!
not some psychopath that transforms into a serial killer that can climb on walls like a spider!
Not a movie, and only 2 headmates, but I recommend taking a look at Xenoblade Chronicles 2. The system from that game also managed to be the first multiple in Super Smash Bros.

Thanks. :)
100%!!!!
I would greatly benefit from learning the lessons from Olli, Jake, Jamie, and Ed on how to be kinder and more compassionate with myself

M fl at that point it was so hard to choose who to focus on, I just chose to focus on Jess.
I rewatched that part multiple times to take it all in. Probably the most powerful moment in an overall incredibly powerful piece!

Thank you so much for thinking of us "bad seed" "forgotten children" . It means everything. Love you💓
Dealing with this right now and honestly I felt a lot of connection with Ed in this.

2. I love Tom as an actor and I love how he portrays Ed.
3. I love love love the little small interactions between Ed and Jamie which make it really clear they are a loving couple and caring of each other.
Ok few things:
1. Jamie and Ed’s relationship is soooo cute
2. Ollie’s actor is 😍
3. This was an absolutely incredible thing to do so thank you.
4. I now need to watch this 5 more times. Each time, I’ll focus on the body language of only one person.

Couldn't have said it better! Each role is so important and I think Ed is blazing a path through his own role. They're all so lovable and inspiring
Me: *has way more alters than Jess*
Also me: I’m so doing this.... someone hire a butload of actors!!
Ella Govig I’m so glad that someone else mentioned this. I was like damn the amount of alters in our systems is about quadruple the amount she has.

This video is a 7 minute piece talking about Jeni's condition (still referred to as Multiple Personality Disorder), and talking about feeling free now that it's over: th-cam.com/video/cS2AndkBux8/w-d-xo.html
60 Minutes did a longer (40+ minute) piece on Jeni Haynes and her army. This one may be triggering to some, since there is a little more detail and you find out some long-term effects of the abuse that will make your heart hurt, even if you haven't experienced anything traumatic yourself: th-cam.com/video/lsXFcbPbvI4/w-d-xo.html
@@ceekay3143 oh my god! That's huge amount, I didn't even know that many alters was possible
I would've had 23 actors ×D
As someone without DID, this was really cool to see and made it easier to understand what you and other systems go through. I loved this!
Okay this is super valuable and beautifully done but it just have to say Ed calling Ollie 'Lolliepop' is the cutest - protective/ safe dad mode is interesting coming from Ed just since we usually don't get to see how he interacts with Ollie, which is why projects like this are so important. Sending a safe cwtch all your way 💛
We have a cat named Ollie and we call him Lollipop 😁
when?
Kelsey Oriley @15:39 💜 I love how Ed is with Ollie. He’s a good dad. (:
Jamie and Ed are actually the cutest and seeing them interact and support and look after each other is just 👌👌😭😭
This is one of the coolest things ever.
Thank you again.
but wait... if you're here... THEN WHO'S FLYING THE PLANE?!
i was NOT expecting to find someone from toonbook here holy shit
"Wait but if you're here... then who was flickering the lights!"
@@Oliver-yc5fi it was Nosferatu obviously
Why did I start crying as the boys helped jess ground 😭
Omg I was trying not to cry in front of my boyfriend
Bitch me too the fuck :,v
Me too 💚 I think it’s the love between them all. Though there maybe tension, fear or wishing for something else. Deep down love is what moves them together. 🥰
Omg me too 😭
literally omg
Check out acrylic and aether! They’re partner systems and they are amazing people.
I would watch an entire series like this. Ive never seen myself represented so accuratly before
Hopefully this video helps erase some of the stigma for us
Okay one thing I just want to say this is a really cool way to portray alters.
Also-
Hold on I can swipe my screen instead of spinning around-
WAIT- omg it works I can stop twisting around to face behind me. Thank you 🙏
Why did I see this comment with only 4 minutes left?! 😭
Read this after watching the whole thing spinning around in bed
swipe?? how does this work
THANK YOU
holy shit this is such a creative idea
I’ve known this system for 20 minutes and I wish them all the best in the world💜✨
Amen!
The actors are so good, sometimes it felt like it was actually them.
To this whole system,
I want to say thank you. I'm Kyrie. I've been told that I'm a part of a system by some other people that know 'the others'. I absolutely HATE not looking like myself, it's horrible. I don't know why or how but this video and channel have helped calm me and make me feel, better. Thank you to you all.
Kyrie.
This makes you think about trans people and how their condition might be more complex then we truely know.
@@britbrat4559 huh?
@@britbrat4559 yes, the term body dysphoria also came to my mind when i was reading Kyries comment.
Kyrie, I am sorry for the body dysphoria you are experiencing. If thats the right term to usw. It must ne so tough bring seen as someone you are not. All the best to you and your system.
Bruh the angle I’ve been watching this made me think of
“DONT BE SHY PUT SOME MORE”
Exactly my thought
the what?
I don't get the reference.
God bless 💜
How is this not Schizophrenia
The grounding part at the end made me cry. It was so sweet and wrapped up the like, ultimate purpose of DID. I loved this.
I love how this ends up as a therapy session somewhere in the middle.
Omg... That moment when Ed calls Ollie, "Olliepop"... Such a feel ;_;
I swear. The moment where ed was explaining it to ollie made me cry and It was so sad.. I understand Ollie's frustration.
This feels like watching a Sanders Sides episode.
On a more serious note, this is amazing and so original. The interactions feel so real and I truly feel like I'm there and understand. I was close to tears everytime they touched each other
There needs to be a "Love" button on here...
Angel Wings and yeah I know it was sort of a low blow but in real life he is taller and thinner. He’s a bit blunt isn’t he 😂
Jameson Redmond I personally don't find that blunt, I find it unnecessarily rude and words like that can really hurt and scar people.
Bro. As a system I loved this SO MUCH
as someone without DID this is quite helpful as i have a huge interest in it
Starting off with saying that I don't have DID, but I'm educating myself on it and devouring every detail about it. I'm very grateful that you allowed me to see what a day looks like with DID for you. Thank you all for sharing such an incredible experience ❤ I loved the complexity and the intimacy of you alls relationships, and how you navigate with one another. Thank you for the visual!
the way ed softened and called ollie “darling” my heart 🥺💕
This video was intense. I’m not really sure what I thought it would be like to have personalities in me. I guess in a way, as an introvert, I thought it would be great having people in my life all the time but after this video I can honestly say I’m very overwhelmed by it. To Jess and the Boys, I applaud you for being so honest and open. I’m thankful you have each other and us for support.
It's not fun to have DID. Because of my 5 alters I have lost hours, days and weeks as well as ending up with hundreds of stitches all over my body. My alters are no where close to allowing me in.
