I love how well Tom and Ed get along. Ed seemed so relaxed here and so much of himself. Tom seemed so comfortable and relaxed. It's amazing to see the chemistry of who the alters are and the actors.
I love how he is so polite and speaks so carefully to refer to Ed and everyone else as their own person. It is never 'multiple personalities in one person' but multiple people in a collective. It just shows how much he respects all of them and how serious he takes all this. Just a stand up guy. They are all so great!
As a female alter in a male-bodied system, I always get a bit jealous when I see these videos with the actors portraying the alters. I wish I/we could be in a project like that, with actors/actresses playing the alters in our system. I imagine that would be a very surreal but amazing experience. And by the way, I think that Tom and the other actors do such an excellent job (based on what I've seen of the actual alters in your videos) of portraying you-all. I hope to see more of these videos in the future, they are really fascinating. A big thank you to yourselves and to all of the actors! - Leyna

I see him as any other human being who cares about his family with 100% of his heart and doesn’t want them to get hurt. He is protective of his system and I think that’s beautiful 💕

I feel like this is the first time I'm actually seeing Tom in a video. He's usually so into character that I've always just seen him as Ed so this is I think the first time I've seen him out of character as himself.
Ed, i'm so happy you are feeling more comfortable with being in front of the camera. You are an amazing soul. Keep doing your best and hang in there. I respect you so much.
Tom said something in this video that was something I've never thought about and it's been a huge eye opener for me about my DID. It was when he said that even people without DID have a personality that is at least partially based on trauma or bad experiences. All of us in my system have been struggling with that concept, feeling less real because we weren't "born" like other people are. All of you continue to change our lives for the better, thank you so much 💜💙
Yeah something that I have wondered and I just put a comment on another video about. I wonder if there is this specific like tipping point or genetic anomaly that makes some people create a complete alter during trauma. Where others can experience the same trauma and not develop complete alters. But like I experienced trauma and was diagnosed with PTSD but I can see parts of my own personality that seem to come out during conflict, fear or anxiety that are so drastically different from my normal everyday personality and so extensive that I could see maybe if the trauma had continued I could see that part of me easily becoming a whole entire other personality possibly. So it's made me wonder if all kids experiencing trauma starts developing a different part of you and sometimes doesn't always go fully over the tipping point to an entire alter. It's just a thought. Maybe one day science will know what makes one person form DID but not another. But I think all people experiencing trauma develop a part of their personality to protect against it but some go farther and get full DID
All the actors in the 360 were fantastic, but Tom as Ed was my favourite portrayal of them all. He came across as exactly the way I see Ed - a very real, 3 dimensional portrayal.

Awww, I loved seeing Tom and Ed have a great conversation, and that Ed really liked the project. I think it's about as close as us singletons will get to knowing what it feels like to have DID and a head full of alters/headmates. I haven't watched all your videos with the actors, but have you thought about trying to simulate what being dissociated and switching feels like from the perspective of one alter? Maybe what the amnesia etc felt like before you knew what it was and were diagnosed? I dissociate sometimes, and would visualise it like a hazy fog, or like when someone has an outer body experience in movies/shows, where the sound and visuals get more distant. Or just that "not real" feeling of not knowing if something is a story you heard/watched, something you dreamed, something someone told you, something you witnessed, or something that actually happened to you. Doesn't help when my antidepressant gives me vivid dreams where I do somewhat realistic things like my day job or shopping or walking around the same house I've never been to. Hearing you both talk about Netflix, I'm overwhelmed thinking about how Jess and the boys would all have their own account on Netflix, and then co-watching the shows more than one alter likes, and the arguments about who gets to watch what and who's watched ahead so you're not all up to the same episode :O But hey, I get overwhelmed just trying to choose something for my singleton self to watch so I dunno.
it's so insane to watch ed in Jesse's body and yet totally just see ed. accent, characteristics, dialect...you stop seeing jess and really start feeling like you're just watching ed. its nice that they can all portray that when they surface
It would be amazing if a movie was created about ur life. Your alters r so supporting and I believe it would drain some of that unwanted stigma from previous films xx

Ed im so with you on Casual Affair. I saw them at O2 at begining of the year and tat song was even better live and in person. I think Tom was spot on with forgetting its Jess body. Whenever any of you are fronting i can tell who it is before you spoke most of the time. I totally forget its a female body and just see you all for who you are. Also Ed is so sweet with Tom and Tom seems like such a lovely person. Great video. Looking forward to the others too.
The 360 project was amazing to watch and it's lovely to see how closely the actors have worked with the whole system. It reminded me that I actually played an alter about 20 years ago, based on a real system. I can well imagine the pressure the actors must have felt to do right by the System and by the followers. My alter was a Protector and at the end, we got closure on the abuser. I read the story of the lady that was the inspiration for the play that I did and it was heart wrenching but also amazing what the mind can do to protect the Host. Watching these videos has also been an emotional journey, even more so for Jess and the Alters :) You are all amazing !!! (including Gaz!)
Thank you, Tom, and all the actors who work hard to bring multiplicity to life. I am getting a lot of new insights from these videos during a very rocky time in my life. 💝

Thank you for saying "it's à way of life" and seeing DID in the same light as I've seen it before. The comédic side, the beautiful side.
Ed has grown so much! I am so proud of him here. He seems so comfortable.
it's so insane to watch ed in Jesse's body and yet totally just see ed. accent, characteristics, dialect...you stop seeing jess and really start feeling like you're just watching ed. its nice that they can all portray that when they surface
It would be amazing if a movie was created about ur life. Your alters r so supporting and I believe it would drain some of that unwanted stigma from previous films xx
I realize this video was posted like 7 months ago, however I had to say thank you to y'all your channel has really helped me understand some of the people I know who have DID better even tho I only discovered this channel a couple hours ago while trying to calm down enough to sleep which led to me down a rabbit hole which led me here. Thanks again.
I have such a soft spot for Ed. Seeing him so relaxed and having so much fun, and he and Tom seem like they've got a really great bond💖💖💖
Ed really makes me happy, I relate to him in a lot of ways as a sexual alter/persecuter and seeing him with this happy family makes me excited for the future and have hope :)) thank you for these videos!
Thank you so much!! This was lovely to watch and see your interaction as real people beyond the scripts. Tom is simply lovely and I love that Ed and him seem to get on great XD
*Edit:* Ed has amazing taste in music and we must all follow his lead 🎶
I’m going to uni to study counselling/psychotherapy. I’ve been through a lot myself but seeing your story has given me such a drive to be able to help other people and especially the lesser known “disorders”
I’m watching this at half 3 in the morning and need to be up in 2.5 hours!
Also with a focus of psychology! I didn’t go to uni originally because I was terrified that I wouldn’t be good/smart enough. But you guys as well as a few other you tubers have given me the strength and the motivation.
You and your alters are beyond brave for doing all this to educate people. You are truly amazing.
I've never seen Ed smiling that much before. He's such a lovely and misunderstood guy. Love him
*That's actually brilliant, we all get shaped into who we are by going through pain not just people with DID*
Ed im so with you on Casual Affair.
Ooh I’m excited for the others. Especially Jake, it’d be interesting to hear him talk more about acting!
This 👏🏻is 👏🏻 Growth 👏🏻❤
And I'm here for it 😭😭❤
This was so heartwarming to watch!
Lovely! Always enjoy a Ed video
This has made my week! I've had a terrible week but everyones updates and this video has kept me really happy. Thank you! ❤
Shae is Bored I hope that next week is better for you lovely ❤️
ThIS IS EVERYTHINGGGG ❤ It's so nice to see you guys hang out, this just seems like a good time!
*He is so handsome and talented af, ..actually they all are!* 😍
Thank you, Tom, and all the actors who work hard to bring multiplicity to life. I am getting a lot of new insights from these videos during a very rocky time in my life. 💝
seeing Ed being comfortable with Tom and them getting along as well as I imagined is so incredibly wonderful!
"I don't know... but I've kinda gotten used to you in there." XD
Loved this so much for us and for Ed. Everything just seems so chill and laid back and I love seeing that. So happy for Ed! Tom, you’re an amazing actor don’t criticize yourself too hard!
I really enjoyed this video! Looking forward to videos of the other alters meeting their actors!
This was f*cking dope to watch! So lovely to hear Tom and Ed's conversation, and the way they can joke and just be chill. My alters and i can't wait for the other videos like this!
as someone with osdd its super nice to see someone talk so organically and truthfully about being a system. thank you all for all of your great work!
God, I don’t think I’ll ever get over how different everyone is, how you can really hear who is who.
Thank you for saying "it's à way of life" and seeing DID in the same light as I've seen it before. The comédic side, the beautiful side. It's the one of the only ways I have survived and actually lived. There was too much darkness without it, and not of the beautiful kind. It is an art to live this way.
Tom was a phenomenal actor. He did amazing!
I really loved getting to see how much ed approved of the actors portrayal of him it's not often someone is happy with how they are portrayed. I was on my 600 pound life in the USA and things aren't always as honest as I wished
Tiffsbigadventure oh wow! I’m sorry your story was span :
@@MultiplicityAndMe the way i see it is i used the show for surgery to better myself and they used me for views. When the contract is up then i can actually tell my story. Even though they took artistic liberty's with my story there was truth and people have sent me dm's telling me how they relate and that I inspired them to get healthy, that is the best part for me💜
It would be interesting to watch a scene play by Tom which shows Ed's perspective into coming to be Jess's body, how Ed sees himself deciding to change the hair and makeup and so on according to his own identity before letting himself in contact with others and then the process after that. Its nice that the alters get to speak, teach and connect to the actors, and them to have fun while the project is flourishing.
This is just so incredible and I am so amazed how well it came together. They all did phenomenal and I’m captivated by how beautiful they all are.
This is the wholesome content we needed today omg! -HiveSystem
