Sims medieval is actually my favorite of the sims games, a couple hints: if you click on your servant she can actually make your food so you don't have to do it yourself, also doing the career tasks are important because if you don't do them your sim will get a bad moodlet, anyway love the series! have fun!
When you compete quest in this game you get resource point that allow you to build new buildings. When you build new buildings you can unlock new “ hero” sims (playable sims) which allow you to do different quests and different routes in the quests. Besides the Monarch you can get a Knight, a Physician, a Blacksmith, a Wizard, etc.
I love this game! A little tip: on the Kingdom map, you can actually place new buildings which can be inhabited by new professions, such as Physician, Wizard and Blacksmith.

I feel like the "my little Timmy has been a child for 35 years" line was a joke about the fact that you can't age kids up in the Sims Medieval. Like in the original Sims, you can only age your children up from babies to children and they just stay like that forever. I hope that you return to this LP soon, since I love this game and I would love to see your reactions to the wacky stories it throws at you!

The thing about 35 years as a child is a joke by the devs about having cut toddler, teen, and elder age groups and aging from this game (which is based on The Sims 3 engine.) Children only age into adults to fill a hero role when a parent dies, otherwise, they remain children forever and no NPCs age up at all. Personally, I'd have preferred keeping the missing age groups to their jokes.

In Sims Medieval with the first kingdom you are supposed to place as many buildings as possible, each that come with a new hero except for ones like the windmill or the watch tower. I recommend next putting the wizards tower down and playing that. You can make the wizard a girl or sorceress. I think you would enjoy that.

Something fun about this game. There are other heroes than your Queen. You just need to build their buildings and assign their hero. They open up other options for the quests.

The first two suggested wishes are references to the game - You can't ride horses and have to walk everywhere, your kids don't grow up unless your hero dies and they can be a kid forever.
