I would love it to be a mix of the best features from the Sims 3, the original Sims medieval, and the Sims 4 (with real violence, blood, and alcohol). I’ve been wanting to check out Sims Medieval but I didn’t think I would like it but this literally sounds like the game I’ve been dreaming of lol Edit: So I bought it. The first thing that stood out was that it’s $20 for the ENTIRE game. Pack included. I’ve only ever played the sims 4 so the color wheel is the coolest thing I’ve ever seen. I’ve never been able to make male sims, but it’s so much easier on Sims Medieval than the Sims 4. Highly recommend!!!

Also on the sims looking better it's because they added a more weathered look to the sims and subsurface scattering
ok so i love this game it was my childhood but i will not hold back on the part that i think sucks: EVERY SINGLE GAME YOU PLAY IS IN THE EXACT SAME KINGDOM. If you start a new ambition you just go back to square one in the exact same kingdom and you have to build all the same stuff all over again. I would love if after you complete the first ambition you get different kingdoms to play around in with different layouts and themes. Like a snow kingdom, a mountain kingdom, a swamp kingdom, a forest kingdom, a beach kingdom, an island kingdom, a desert kingdom, a tundra kingdom, etc, and you go through the ambitions to unlock them. And in the different types of kingdoms you could have new hero types, new quests, new buildings, etc. Like if youre in the snow kingdom one of the quests could be about gathering enough firewood to help the peasants survive, or organizing a snow festival. How cool would that be!!! And no, DO NOT lock them behind dlcs because that would suck
If the Netflix Lord of the Rings fanfic has enough success, and perhaps if Arthurian legends adaptations or Dungeons and Dragons stuff keep being popular, perhaps Maxis will make something medieval again. There is fertile ground already, with the recent Castelvania adaptation, GoT, and the upcoming sequel of Willow...

Gosh this game is soo fun. My main issue is that I wish that we stayed longer with each kingdom, I get really attached to my sims and love spending time decorating their homes so I wish it went a bit longer with them. I have no choice, I have to get it now. Also scared sims 4 will make it cause we all know how watered-down it would be compared to this. That being said I still want the option, sometimes water is good for you.
Saw the title and, before I even watch the vid, want to express my complete and total agreement. Also wanted to ask "why have EA not Already made a Sims 4 version"?
The last time I played Medieval, I updated the game but it had a stupid bug that made it completely unable to play. I'm serious - when I opened up the menu and clicked the play button, I would ALWAYS get an error message, and it was from the buggy update. It wasn't rare either: multiple people on forums complained about it to EA, but EA being EA, they didn't bother to fix it.
I'm right there with you. I have played all the Sims games. We are talking all the way back to Sim City in 1989 on my family's Tandy 1000. I do have to say Sims Medieval was a blast, and still one of my favorite games ever. I still have it. I just don't have a disk reader on the computer I have now. I've been thinking of getting one just to play Sims Medieval again.
What would be AMAZING is if people like the monarchs had the last name Landgraab and everyone’s last names are ones from the mainline sims. Almost like a prequel
YES! Sims Medieval was my first sim game! My old desk top ate the disc when I was seventeen... We had to get a new computer, but I haven't been able to find another copy, no one sells them! Let there be a remake, or 2.0, please! I miss the dire chinchillas and the pit monster.
This is like sims meets Skyrim and I NEED IT because I’m not a console player but I love the dark souls games and the sims. Having them combined would be AMAzing and I know gamers would hop on it
I can't afford another game, so maybe I could mod like crazy, and wish non broken scenarios would occasionally pop up like quests that would drastically upset your game. Something like become healer to the king requires magic, but there is a chance that you'll get a popup saying you failed to heal the king's consort when your magic backfired. Now he's calling for your head. You must move and begin a rags to riches with no skills scenario.
I love this game so much but I also had the no saving bug, so much progress gone. Even replaying it from when I last saved the bug still happened after a certain amount of time.
I saw this game years ago and wished to play it but I couldn't afford it. Imagine my surprise when a few years ago, my sister hands me a card on my birthday telling me to check my origin account. She got me The Sims Medieval Special Edition, which included the Pirates and Nobles Pack as well. Best birthday gift ever!!!😂😂😂😂
I looooved this game way back when it came out, it makes me so happy that people still enjoy it all these years later. Definitely agree that EA need to remake it. Fingers crossed haha
Sims Medieval definitely deserves a sequel... or some really strong patches, the game needs some love.
It's a great game. I'm so confused why it didn't gain much popularity.

I still have my digital download code from when I bought Sims Medieval on Amazon back in the day. I LOVE Sims Medieval!
I played this game in high school and it was my favorite sims game.
YES! Sims Medieval was my first sim game! My old desk top ate the disc when I was seventeen... We had to get a new computer, but I haven't been able to find another copy, no one sells them! Let there be a remake, or 2.0, please! I miss the dire chinchillas and the pit monster.
You made me buy the game! I had ignored it but it was only 11 euros in origin so i decided to buy it to try it out. :D
I had no idea about the 2nd channel but the second I saw The Witcher I subbed :D
This is like sims meets Skyrim and I NEED IT because I’m not a console player but I love the dark souls games and the sims. Having them combined would be AMAzing and I know gamers would hop on it
I have never played the sims medieval, but now it's got my interest!
I am STILL playing sims medieval. I love it so much. It’s amazing
This review is simply perfect
It is sooo relaxing to play after a stressful day. I love the game. So sad they did only two packs.
start a twitter riot for this we need this
I love this game so much but I also had the no saving bug, so much progress gone. Even replaying it from when I last saved the bug still happened after a certain amount of time.
you just convinced me to redownload this game after years
I LOOOOOOOVE SIMS MEDIEVAL! Happy to hear someone talk about it nowadays :)
This is one of my favorite games ever it's so underrated
I looooved this game way back when it came out, it makes me so happy that people still enjoy it all these years later. Definitely agree that EA need to remake it. Fingers crossed haha
Agreed! Especially on the create-a-sim.
I feel like playing a sims family in Medieval would be like playing Sims 1. *Does anything: Dies*
