i started off playing a sims game on a nitendo ds and then i played the sims 2 lmao the sims 1 honestly hurts my eyes so much >:[ im an artist and the fact that there's barely any DEPTH AND SHADING LMAO im literally close to blind i shouldn't be watching these bc they hurt my eyes💀

Ah the nostalgia! My childhood says hello! I grew up playing the Sims and then Sims 2 so these type of videos are so special to me. I never played TS3, but when I randomly see people building houses in TS3 I feel like the graphics weren't that much better? I honestly don't understand how people hate on the TS4 graphics when you see them in comparison.
I love the sims 1. I started playing when it first came out. I love all the items and the build mode music is my fave. Also, I really like the genie and matchmaker.
I want the sims 1 back, it was so magical, the atmosphere, the doll-house style, the mysteries, the songs, everything was so GOOD! I just wish for another DLC that would add more stuff to do because honestly nothing looks like the sims 1 and nothing ever will!
I miss the sims 1 so much, it had so much personality. The genie who would either give you money, or set your house on fire. The random phone calls that were mysterious and cryptic. Pots of knives?? The sims not walking over or picking dirty dishes, and dying because they couldn't reach the fridge. Low quality food coming in a can. I think there was a rating on the layout of the house somewhere you could access in live mode?? would have been interesting to see how this house scored.
Ah, Sims 1. Good childhood memory. I remember running to the electronics retailer (MediaMarkt) as fast as I could to get the latest expansion pack. Retrospectively, when I'm thinking about all the possibilities, I'm missing quite a lot. The dating in Hot Date is far better imo, the "celebrity stars" in Sims 3 are ok but nothing against the Superstar expansion pack of Sims 1. The magic in Sims 2 is really bad but funny in Sim 3. But still I'm missing the duels and wizarding world of Sims 1. And oh wow, holidays in Sims 1 was such a great thing. Checking in the hotel, having fun, very cool. But I also love the traveling in Sims 3 and it looks funny in Sims 4. Now I can say it, I skipped Sims 4 because of the missing features. My wife is playing it but I'm still in love with the previous versions. Was is really missing since Sims 2 is the Open for Business feature: Opening a business in your own house, selling random objects, getting better in sales talk and cashiering, getting endless money from the hourly tax people have to pay during their visit and playing poker for days, and last but not least the special skills you get when you're leveling up with your business like automatically know all people of the person you're talking with.
Ikr! It's not the most superior and takes eons to save but it has a place in my heart.. It's great in it's own way. I literally memorize most of it's OSTs

When I was element school in China we had computer class where we can just go into a lab to.. play computer games for 40 minutes and that is the highlight of my week!! I can’t get enough sim 1 back then! It was such interesting and cute and attractive game but I never found that interesting for later sims since then!

When I used to build my boxes in Sims, I always made sure I had THAT bed and THAT hottub, I used the colourful circle windows and had alllll the fun items like the pinball machines lol! They were a mess but they were home!
You should find a house in the Sims 4, either a townie’s house, a house you’ve made, or a house off of the gallery, and try to recreate it the best you can in an older game like the Sims 1, 2, or 3!
Watching you play this really makes me wish that EA would have made a remastered version :((( I'd love to play it, but it is so difficult to make compatible with computers today.
Try the construction challenge. It’s that you have to build everything. I mean that if you wish to have a bed in your bedroom you can take the todler stuff pilow chair and a carpet that has the same colour and put them on the floor and bamm you have a bed so if you whant a sofa you have to maybe take a tabel and build it you just cant take the same item

I loved the cats and dogs expansion pack but my favourite one of all Sims (1-4) expansion is the Sims 1 magic expansion.
