Fun reaction! You had more dialog than the movie itself! lol I like the choice they made to use live action people in the videos from the "old world" to show how much they have evolved over generations from the extended time in microgravity and not moving out of their chairs.
OMG! It didn't dawn on me that the live action people and the animated people were representing the generational changes that took place. I recognized Fred Willard and was so entertained by him that I didn't question why he was real when everyone else was animated! Thanks for pointing that out!
The second to last language that EVE says "Directive" before english is Huttese, the fictional Hutt language of the Star Wars universe (note this movie was done before George Lucas sold Lucas Films to Disney). On a side note: Ben Burtt, the sound designer from the first six Star Wars episodes voices WALL-E, M-O and other robots as well as being the sound designer on the film, which he did right after Revenge of the Sith was completed.
This is such a great movie and it was even more fun by watching it while you react to it. You are a really cool reactor, loved your comments and I am so glad you watched the credits. Thanks for a wonderful time Lady Jax.
Jax, thanks for your delightful reaction to this wonderful movie. The captions snarking at your own comments are fun to watch! I've loved this movie since I saw it for the first time years ago. As many commenters and film critics have said, the first act of the story is a masterful demonstration of "show, don't tell". Even with a minimum of dialogue, we learn so much about the characters and setting, and become wholeheartedly invested. An amazing accomplishment on Pixar's part.
Thank you! Im so glad you liked this reaction. I had a lot of fun editing it together and putting in those little comments! It was truly amazing how entertaining this movie was with such little dialogue. Pixar did such a great job. ❤️
AUTO's role in the movie is a matter of debate. Whether he is a true villain preventing humans from returning to Earth because he wants control, or is merely doing everything he can to follow the orders he was given has been debatable among fans. This issue can be looked upon either way. Due to AUTO's apparent lack of true sentience (he was always very mechanical) it is very possible he was just following his program - however, when a machine follows its program, it can easily be seen as "evil" by human beings since a being that is run purely by logic does not have the capability to understand ethics (in fact, ethics are often the opposite of logic) - this means beings that follow program often appear ruthless, authoritarian and even evil: the idea of a being void of emotion is alien to a lot of humans, and thus is seen as negative regardless of whether or not the character itself is "good" or "bad". Another theory states that he is neither "logical" nor "ethical". However, ethics, which govern proper conduct, must always be in accordance with reason. It can be said that a rational being would interpret mankind's position in the Axiom as physically and intellectually decadent, while their return to Earth shows a realization of duty and a sense of active control over their own fate. Because such a solution is defended in this way, it can be argued as the ethically correct solution for the way humans behave. Often, a cold and emotionless logician does not factor in some of the subjective values that must be taken into account when considering the conduct of people, but AUTO is not trying to think of the best course for humanity. Thus, he is illogical. He operates logically within the confines of his programming, but this is limited to a single mission: "stay the course," and "do not return to Earth." He only thinks of the most efficient way to keep these things true. Thus, he is not "evil" in the sense that he has malice or ill-intent for his own self-benefit. No, he doesn't think at all, he just does. He is an extension of an outdated order from centuries past. He is amoral, though his actions, not the being, are immoral because they would ultimately harm mankind.
"He is an extension of an outdated order from centuries past." What a great point! All of the robots seem to have directives that they are capable of overriding when they start deepening their relationships with one another. Otto never seemed to bond with anyone. I see him as a villain because of his programming, not because he is intentionally villainous. He was just doing his job.
I gotta say that "Pizza Farm" joke got me, Im still laughing about it lol. I also absolutely love going to the Pizza Farm. Excellent reaction to an excellent movie!
Glad you like it. It's fantastic. It's a very successful and adorable story with surprisingly minimal dialog, especially between robots. The very frequent word "Wall-e" but the different situations, emotional and tonality EVE says it, it's works great.
Agreed! This movie was incredibly entertaining despite the lack of dialogue. Wall-E was so expressive and his little sounds were adorable. I loved how his relationship with EVE evolved. This movie put me in the best mood!
I'm always reluctant to over-hype and over exaggerate compliments but, you're probably the best reactor to ever do it. So smiley and bursting with positive energy.
Fun fact: Pixar (BEFORE it was bought by Disney) was co-owned/co-founded/kept majority shareholder by Steve Jobs. That had its influence on robots designs: Eve (and Axiom robots overall) are matched by design to "modern" Apple devices (iPod designer worked on it), while WALL-E (and WALL-A by association) was designed by dominant old boxy devices of the time (namely a printer).

I'm fairly sure they sent all of those Eves to Earth... just different locations. Wall-E's Eve (Eva) was the only one that found anything and sent out a signal to be retrieved. She was the last one picked up, so they could leave right after picking her up. That's why the Captain says something about, none of the Probes has ever come back positive, because they sent out multiples of them.
You have done the smartest viewing I have ever seen, and the best overall. This story is so exciting, so full of emotion, and entertainment.... And it teaches us so many lessons about so many important things.....
In case you didn’t know, the music and VHS movie WALL-E loved so much is the musical, Hello, Dolly!, starring Barbra Streisand. You should definitely watch/react to it if you haven’t seen it yet. Adorable storyline and great music.
Space is pretty harsh on the human body. Astronauts experience bone density loss; their bones get weaker in the short time they're in orbit, as well as their vision gets worse.
Omg I love your reactions! Been binge watching them in no specific order and just want to say they all made me smile and laugh and is the exact reason I love react vids!
Wall-E is a tour de force! Great editing this video, too!!! 2 nerd points: 1) The implication of the other recon robots in the rocket is that the rocket was flying around the planet dropping them off everywhere, then would come back later to pick them up. I assume the rocket came back for her via timer rather than beacon, because it didn't react to her green light... only when back on the main ship did anybody react. 2) Disuse (including zero gravity) causes the loss of both muscle and bone, because the body doesn't prioritize maintaining them anymore. People without teeth actually have their jaw bone slowly self-destruct! :O Keep up the good work!
Thank you so much! The editing was a little more complicated on this one...so I really appreciate that you liked it ❤️ Also, thanks for clarifying about EVE. That makes so much sense. I think I was so worried that Wall-E would lose track of her amongst all her look-alikes that I missed that. As for the bone loss, that is terrifying.

Such a great, great movie. Jax, for some odd reason, I have the same allergies as you whenever I watch this. 😊 As usual, your meme/gif game is on point. Great reactions and comments once again!
Why does everyone seem to think that they only sent the one EVE!?! There were several of them on n the ship, because they were all sent to search the earth. Like, send one to; the East Coast, one to the West Coast, one to South America, one to China, one to England and so on. The only reason Wall-E's Eve had her homing beacon light on, is because she was the only one who found a plant.

10:42 Fr EVE is villain coded love interest and we don’t talk about it enough 😂 Trigger happy, immediately turns to violence hearing pebbles falling, lashing out in anger to the point of destroying a whole fleet of ships and watches them burn, she’d be a great villain, she’s got it all lmao
Thank you for reacting to the closing credits even though you couldn't show the images. Most reactors don't, and it's a shame because it shows how the characters continue to grow and evolve on earth since their return.
The ending credits felt integral to the story. I would have had so many questions if the animators hadn't included them. Glad you enjoyed the reaction to them, even I couldn't keep them in! ❤️
As for how the Humans survived once they got to Earth, you have to remember that the ship is fully self-sufficient. They can use it as a base of operations and a hub until they are able to start spreading out and living off the land. Somehow the ship didn't run out of food for 700 years (the implications... gag) so they would be able to survive for a while at least.

That is SO cool!!! What an awesome detail. That makes me love this movie even more!
It also sound like she swears when she looks in the Porta john.
This is such a great movie and it was even more fun by watching it while you react to it. You are a really cool reactor, loved your comments and I am so glad you watched the credits. Thanks for a wonderful time Lady Jax.
I'm so glad you liked it! The credits add so much to the story. I love that we got to see how they made Earth a beautiful place to live.
@@reactswithjax yeah, and it's a shame because he spent a lot of time with the various captains of the Axiom.
wall-e and eve's such a sweetheart
I gotta say that "Pizza Farm" joke got me, Im still laughing about it lol. I also absolutely love going to the Pizza Farm. Excellent reaction to an excellent movie!
I loved the captain's obsession with pizza!😂 I'm so glad you liked the reaction ❤️
Thank you! 🎉❤️🥰 You are now officially to blame if my ego ever gets too big 🤣 I love your name btw!
@@reactswithjax I am more than honored to hold that title! I'll march to the front lines if that happens 😂🙌🏻
And I appreciate it! ⚡️🙏🏻
Fun fact:
Pixar (BEFORE it was bought by Disney) was co-owned/co-founded/kept majority shareholder by Steve Jobs. That had its influence on robots designs: Eve (and Axiom robots overall) are matched by design to "modern" Apple devices (iPod designer worked on it), while WALL-E (and WALL-A by association) was designed by dominant old boxy devices of the time (namely a printer).
Never knew that. Thanks for sharing this!
@@Mike-mf3ed When Wall-E power-up in the sun light, it's the Apple MAC boot "ringtone", was cool :)
one of my favorite parts of this world is how people never seen movies that i consider classics! i felt like i was watching this for the first time again, thank you
I saw this in theaters, and I remember being blown away by how good the flame on the lighter looked. I also love the progression through art history with the end credits.
The animation in this was so beautiful! I didn't notice that the ending credits progress through art history until I was editing this video together. It was SO cool to see that detail. ❤️
She's an ANGRY robot... XD Jax is SO cute and so sweet! I could listen to this woman all day with a voice like that, nevermind watch :O
Haha! Thank you!
Really good reaction!!! WALL-E is still my favorite Pixar movie after all these years and I'm glad you got to experience it!
Thank you!! Wall-E is incredible! I am SO glad I got to watch it for the first time on this channel. I can see why it's your favorite Pixar movie ❤️
I have a nice experience as the where I saw this movie. I actually saw this movie in Bermuda with a very good friend of mine. When we finished watching, there were no cabs in sight.. At that moment, I felt like Wally.in the beginning of the film.....lol ...
I subbed to your channel because out of 2 dozen reactors that i've watched react to this film (one of my favorites) you are the only one who watched, commented and appreciated the fantastic end credits. Thank you.
Wall-E and Up are my favorite animated movies ever. Not even Pixar themselves can match that level today.
Those are two top-tier films! I LOVE Up! ❤️
One of the loveliest warmest reaction to Wall•E! A beloved favorite of my family! Your reaction is now my favorite way to once again re-experience the journey! It had been seen so many times practically memorIes passages! So this attentive addition is wonderful and a nice interlude to the MCU journey! 🌌 🚀 🤖 🌎!!
O-M-G! What a pleasant & charming reaction . Great voice, too. I have been watching movie reactions for the better part of 3 years, and I have to say this is my all-time favorite reaction to a movie .... subscribed! 😀
What a compliment! 😊 Thank you! That makes me so happy that you liked this reaction!!! 🎉❤️💕 Wall-E was so charming that t's hard not to fall completely in love with him!
This was an amazing reaction! Thank you so much for this today!!!
Glad you enjoyed it! ❤️
Jax, I absolutely adored your reaction to Wall ee. As well as your commentary. Very sweet 😊❤ also your voice is so calm and peaceful. Looking forward to your next reaction. 🫶
Thank you! Wall-E was so much fun to watch. I'm so glad you enjoyed the reaction ❤️
Glad to see you Jax, I absolutely love this movie, there's so little dialogue but it's got more character than most movies, while I'm here I wanted to let you know that your reactions brighten my day 😊
Edit: It's also great to see Lamby too
Thank you SO much! It makes my day knowing how much you're enjoying these reactions 🥰 This movie was so heartwarming. It was such a joy to watch. ❤️🐑
Wow, I had no idea there would be bone loss! Or worsening vision!
😳 I knew about the loss of bone density, but not the worsening vision!
45:56 I love this moment when the umbrella came back just to take a last check before leaving in the background... 🤣
Such a beautiful reaction!! Movies like these were made for people like you!!
Thank you! ❤️ This movie was such a joy to watch.
Omg I love your reactions! Been binge watching them in no specific order and just want to say they all made me smile and laugh and is the exact reason I love react vids!
Thank you so much! I'm so glad you enjoy my reactions!! ❤️🎉
Keep up the good work!
Thank you so much! The editing was a little more complicated on this one...so I really appreciate that you liked it ❤️
Also, thanks for clarifying about EVE. That makes so much sense. I think I was so worried that Wall-E would lose track of her amongst all her look-alikes that I missed that. As for the bone loss, that is terrifying.
8:37, “Whoa!” “She went from fun to deadly really quickly.” 🤣🤣
Hi, I'm from Germany and just discovered your channel because of "Wall-E". Great reaction. Glad to see more of you. Of course I subscribed.
Thank you for subscribing!! I'm so glad you enjoyed Wall-E! It was such a joy to watch. I've never been to Germany but I have friends from there and whenever they visit they bring Kinder chocolate 😍 It's my favorite!
@@reactswithjax Best "meme" I've ever seen. So Liam Neeson's... 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Such a great, great movie. Jax, for some odd reason, I have the same allergies as you whenever I watch this. 😊 As usual, your meme/gif game is on point. Great reactions and comments once again!
Thank you!!! Hahaha, I don't know what it is in Wall-E that we are allergic to but it seems to impacting a lot of us! 😂
Great reaction Jax. Genuine emotions and intelligent review, so I subscribed. Please keep up the good work! :)
THANK YOU! ❤️
24:00 One of the major effects of living in space (in zero gravity) is a loss in bone density. This has been known since the 1960s.
Yikes! That's an intense repercussion of living in space.
Amazingly lovely reaction. You anticipated so many things in this movie. Totally impressive. Thank you so, so much.
I'm so glad you liked it!! I had so much fun watching this 💗
Wall-E: the only movie that can make _a fat man standing up_ into the most awesome thing you've ever seen.
Getting to see your beautiful face smile and tear up and get excited and laugh while watching one of my favorite movies made my heart smile 🥰 One of my favorite reactions to this film!
I love that this is one of your favorite movies! It was so heartwarming and entertaining. So glad you enjoyed the reaction ❤️🥰
ALLI love this Pixar film & bought the DVD for the wonderful song at the end ....Down To Earth''...by Peter Gabriel. I remember buying some mixtures too. I couldn't find it in stores, but remember riding a nearly full-sized W ALL E online with remote control.
9:25, “Will you stop destroying things?” 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I always assumed the Axiom was not the only ship like that, since they showed others in the advertising video clip.
Good point! I didn't catch that.
Someone pointed out that the little spark that happens when they're dancing in space and at the end is the spark of life
"why am i getting teary eyed? i feel so silly" that's WALL-E baby
Love your reaction, I feel like watching this movie again, can't wait to see more of your reaction videos! Maybe some horror movie reaction as well ,it will be fun.
You might also enjoy *(short-circuit)* because *Wall-E* looks like a baby *Johnny 5* from *(Short Circuit)*
So fun little fact about eve, when she is cycling through languages the first time the language just before english is huttese from star wars
_oh come on_
What car model does a lamb drive?
- A Lamborghini!😂
Jax's laugh, though!!😍😍😍
Aaah!! That is such a good one! I may have to use that in a video 😂😂😂
I've only come up with 2 original jokes. One of them is based on a video game and a friend told me they'd heard the other one before from somewhere else (so I'm not the first one to think of it)
What did Mozart say at the end of the performance?
I'll be Bach!
@@marieporter9488 That one is great!!! I love that!
17:26
Actually, it was a whole fleet of ships
The axiom itself held about half a million people
18:03
They sent the others on different parts of the planet, probably
IMHO, this is the absolute best Pixar movie...bar none. Came out on my birthday when i was just 39, still consider it one of the best b-day presents I've ever had. This will ALWAYS be my favorite PIXAR flick...truly "LIGHTNING IN A BOTTLE"
That is so cool you got to see this on your birthday! That happened to me with Paddington. I saw it in theaters on my birthday with my family and it's one of my favorite memories. Wall-E really took me by surprise. I completely fell in love with his character. He has so much heart.
You have the nicest, deep, rich laugh. I have watched many of your reactions but this one may be my favorite. This movie is such a pleasant surprise the first time. Keep being beautiful inside and out. The world needs more of that.
Thank you so much! This movie was so special. I'm glad you enjoyed watching with me ❤️
I know this is a review from a year ago, but in the chance that you see this:
If you're looking for a movie with barely any dialog and super engrossing story, you need to watch Apocalypto. I never understood why that movie flew under so many people's radars. It is an amazing watch
44:00
“This is a Pixar movie, IT DOESN’T KILL OF IT’S MAIN CHARACTERS!”
Up: “I’d like to introduce myself.”
Hahahah! Exactly!
When I saw that you were reacting to this, all I could think of was how it was a perfect fit. I'm honestly surprised that you hadn't seen it before.
I LOVED this film! I'm surprised I missed this movie when it first came out too. It's rare when I don't see a Disney/Pixar film.
I enjoyed (re)watching this very nice movie with your pleasant and insightful reaction. Thank you.
Thank you very much!! I'm so glad you enjoyed it! ☺️

Fr EVE is villain coded love interest and we don’t talk about it enough 😂
Trigger happy, immediately turns to violence hearing pebbles falling, lashing out in anger to the point of destroying a whole fleet of ships and watches them burn, she’d be a great villain, she’s got it all lmao
"they're all so lazy!"
"ooh floating drinks imagine that on a little floaty chair"
Loveliest reactor out there. Great vid!
Thank you! 💗💗💗
This is my first reaction movie I've seen with you. Loved your reaction to this amazing movie.
Such a sweet movie, who could not love it
This was such a good movie! 💕
9:24 “Will you… will you stop destroying things for the love of god?” “She really does not like surprises.” 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
For me, the highlight came with the first few chords of the music at the end credits - it was 'Down to Earth' by Peter Gabriel.
You got me at “pizza farm”! Lol😂 Subscribed. Great movie reaction from you. Looking forward into seeing more of your other movie reactions. 😊
Thanks so much for subscribing!! Glad you enjoyed my reaction ❤️🎉🐑
8:47, “Will you stop traumatizing Wall-E?” 🤣🤣
Also here's something I noticed: there are no old people on the Axiom, and unlimited buffets...
WALL·E (short for Waste Allocation Load Lifter: Earth-Class)
35:28 i have always found that line from the Captain to be one of my favorites in any film!
Eve only searched a small portion of Earth, the ship dropped the other Eves around the planet. Makes sense.
you give off total mom vibes :) and it's sweet
Thank you! ❤️
I think you would also like the 1986 Sci-Fi/Comedy (Short Circuit). :)
Your reaction and how bubbly you are is just everything, got my sub
Ive seen w several times. Mikeaninger are spot on. All about emotion. ❤
My favourite and never noticed the end credits. Wow
Please keep on making these videos, I enjoyed watching this with you a lot!
I'm so glad you enjoy them! I love making them ❤️🎉
As for how the Humans survived once they got to Earth, you have to remember that the ship is fully self-sufficient. They can use it as a base of operations and a hub until they are able to start spreading out and living off the land. Somehow the ship didn't run out of food for 700 years (the implications... gag) so they would be able to survive for a while at least.
One of my four All time Favourite films. I have no idea how many times I've seen it,.
I'm a decaf green tea with honey guy myself. 😊
Wall-E is such a great movie!
20:12 That is john Ratzenberger, who has voiced a character in every Pixar movie. his characters include
- Hamm from toy story (Not Mr potato head)
- the yeti in monsters inc.
- and Mack in cars
I forgot he was in Monsters Inc and Cars! He has a perfect voice for animation. Haha, thanks for clarifying... I don't know why I thought he was Mr. Potato Head 😅
Jax great reaction to probably my favorite Pixar movie. Makes me tear up every time. What a beautiful story with a ton of meaning.
Good to know I wasn't alone when I teared up watching this! ❤️
@reactswithjax Definitely not alone. Pixar knows how to get me in the feels. The beginning of "UP" broke me. 😭😭😭😭😭
The thing that most people miss is his home is the bigger WALL E counterparts called WALL R in space.
Your reactions are the true outcome Pixar was aiming for. I watched this atleast 10 times. Makes me feel good.💐
