Watching your vlog since yesterday.. My humble request, please don't fast forward your driving, i personally love the car and the roads and just put the natural noice/sound instead of music.. It will give viewers the almost real experience.. Just my opinion. Good luck.
Ofcourse, I wouldn't have gotten the Jimny if I didnt feel that the car was perfect for my needs. And it hasn't let me down yet. Everyone's needs are different, so they just need to make their own informed decision.
One minute i am in my room, the very next i am taken away by your immaculate work capturing nature at its very best. You are doing one hell of a job, taking (and by taking, i mean u literally takes us )places we could dream of visiting, visiting a place is one thing, living the moment is another thing. God bless you.
Just found your channel, i just want to say that this video is flawless and moves on with calm motion throughout and the editing is just top notch, from music to footages everything looks like a cinema movie from Hollywood ❤
Marvelous coverage of a road journey of a different kind. At my old age, I do not think that I will have opportunity to travel in this part of India. Your vlog gave me a real feel of an adventurous road journey. Thank you very much for the great work.
keep a small hamer with you link which is connecting rear part got frozen during my winter spiti and it was very hard to reach and break the ice from that part ..so I will be keeping one small hammer which can reach tyre back side to break the frozen ice from chain connecting link
amazing video, just a small suggestion. pls put window water protector, as it will help with little windows open for the night and clean air to breathe as well.
That is very true.. I used it for ventilation when i was camping in my Ecosport the previous year. But I hate the design of the rain visors sold by Maruti, need to find something more low profile to fit on my car. Will do it before the coming winter.
Hi Saravana I hope you’re doing well! I’ve noticed that all your videos are focused on Himachal Pradesh. Have you considered exploring Uttarakhand as well? I believe it has a lot to offer and would be a great addition to your content. What’s your reason for staying only in Himachal? Your loyal viewer
If im not mistaken, this video is from Zanskar and not Himachal. But seriously, i get what you mean, I have traveled quite a bit in Uttarakhand and it didn't really make much of an impression on me.
Fantastic! Do you just use a chain on one tyre? In the US we usually put on both front tyres (in a front wheel drive or 4 wheel drive car). Gloves! When I went through summer 2023, on those switchbacks below Pensi la towards Padum, the roadworkers above were working so hard and fast they were pushing down cascades of rockfall that almost hit me on the curves below. A little disconcerting.
I normally use chains on both my front tyres. But in this case the snow was very less on the road and I just wanted a little extra grip to navigate the first couple of switch backs safely. The road upto and below Pensila is completely tarmacked now. The section below Pensi La was in a bad state just 1 year back, so I was amazed at how quickly the workers had completed the road in a few months. I guess safety standards go out for a toss when they are working like that, sorry that you almost got hit from falling rocks.
@@reboonwheels Yeah I met a guy at a dhaba between Pensi la and Padum who was a manager with a private road construction company that was doing the job. I guess there is cooperation between BRO and the private sector now? Guy said they were proud of working fast and efficient. The "link road" that starts above Mune and goes to near Kargyak looked amazing. I was confused, it was so new, it was not any maps. I ended up going to Purne anyway after some exhausting time-waste up and down on my bicycle. Met Dolma from Dolma home stay (Purne) by the side of the road, I think she was waiting for a ride home after her day job. With simple Hindi I was able to understand her directions to Purne. On the amazing day hike to Phuktar I was thinking about your nice winter videos from the area.
Lol.. Lumix has a reputation for bad focusing doesn't it? I used the DJI Pocket 3 for shooting this video.. it is incredible in such a tiny package. I've been using my S5 less after getting the Pocket 3. I hope DJI releases a Pocket Pro with the Micro 4/3'rds sensor (like in the Mavic 3) sometime in the future and I would definitely get that as well.
@@reboonwheels yes then every camera vlogger moves into pocket 4 ecosystem..With Drones ,Mics and now pocket series looking like DJI is targeting the entire Vlogging/TH-cam community
Not ok when the road is very slippery.. in this case there wasn't much snow and i could have driven without the chains as well. But i just want some extra safety and a single chain is better than no chains at all.
8:31 Though you are very experienced..my humble suggestion for frosted windows….spray some WD40 on glass n rub it off …it will help in defrost windows.😊
That's another thing to carry in the car. I'am generally in no hurry on my trips. I would rather turn on the heater and wait 5 minutes for the windows to defrost on their own.
Great video as usual! Loved the sound track. One question : I noticed that you put on the chains only on the front left wheel.... was that adequate? Did you notice any bias towards one side while steering?
Hi Rebo. Have been watching your channel from last two days. I am so happy to find this on TH-cam. I am planning now to go on same pathways . May I know which month was this when you travelled to these places in your own Jimny. Which months are favorable to go on trip like this. Cheers man. Thank you
I can't really answer that question as the weather changes every year. I have mentioned the dates of my travels in each of the videos. So you can use it to get an idea of the conditions at different times of the year. Btw.. Rebo is the name of my car.

Hey Hi! Absolutely loved the video. Your skills and the way you presented everything was just awesome. Just one question... how do you manage your safety while being in such a secluded place? like there might be no people near in case of uncertain things like goons and or landslides and all. Just curious hope you travel safe and absolutely loved it man
Thank you.. I have been doing this (camping alone in the mountains, not driving) for over a decade. So I'am more comfortable in these places than anywhere in the plains. No goons here.. and while landslides (i.e avalanches and rock falls) can be an issue, you just learn to read the landscape with experience and pick safe spots to stop and camp. But yeah.. accidents can always happen, you just try to minimize it as much as possible with experience.
@@reboonwheels ohh... thank you for the reply! even I aspire if something similar but it always concerns me about the safety with such rising crime rates and all so I just wanted to know what you thought about it or what were your experiences regarding the same. thank you, much love ❤️
I'm intrigued, is it a snow plow that clears a route through the snow and if so is it the army that does it? And are the roads treated with salt to defrost the road
The roads are not treated with salt (as far as I know). This section of the road is built and maintained by a private contractor, so they take care of clearing the snow and keeping the road open throughout the winter with snow plows and snow cutters.
