    Working on an Elektron Machinedrum-only acid / electro / techno / beats live set, using the amazing x.04 unofficial firmware.
    First half I'm running through my favourite patterns, second half I make a new beat.

    Nice stuff! Can I ask about the patch randomizer for MD - it's a Mozaic AU "patch" but for some reason I cannot have it send midi out in Audiobus 3 via iRig2 .. Do you have any tips on how to set it up in Audiobus 3? I have Mozaic set as input (midi sender) and iRig is MIDI "receiver" - any ideas why it does not work? Thank you! Consider looking at my Megacommand for MD videos. Cheers!

      @@DiamondRunway I'm not sure about audiobus, can you send other midi out from other scripts? You might want to read the start of the script, often there are variables or some extra documentation at the start.. like what midi channel you need to have the MD

      @@burnsaudio3926 hehe, I just knew it has to be something simple - shift will take you to page two with the GO button and it works fine from there :) silly me ... the biggest mystery for me though is how you switch machine engines via MIDI // tried to figure it out in my touchOSC controller too: th-cam.com/video/vqRBuYl-w7A/w-d-xo.html
      Well, thanks for your answer anyway!

      @ I think it sends a very small sysex message to change machines if I remember correctly.

    What are you doing in the beginning when holding function and classic/extended button and tweaking the lowcut of the bassline?

      On the Machinedrum, FUNC+turn a knob changes that parameter on all 16 tracks at once, and FUNC+Classic/extended is a shortcut to reload the kit from its last saved state. So through the whole mix I do this on various parameters: filter base and width, envelope decay, FX send, sample rate reduction, etc etc

    Pretty nice tonal sounds. How did you manage polyphony ?

      Look up the Unofficial x.04 firmware. There are additional synth engines, an option to play western tuning, and ability to play chords

    Lovely... btw did you use samples as well or was it jus the synth engines?

    • @burnsaudio3926
      @burnsaudio3926  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      For this set there was 2 samples, one is an entire TR909 kit and the other a TR808 kit. Evenly spaced so every sound is available with STRT position. Everything else synth engines or UW resampling!

      So the kick and the hats are samples?
