    Amazing and very inspiring work you did! Really like the sonic approach, the way it's programmed, and the overall results!

    beautiful work, love this! I am a lucky Machinedrum owner and big fan /owner of other elektron boxes as well, some of the most inspiring machines available...

    Thank you so much for the awesome music - but even more for sharing the sysex files. I have my MD for a couple of years now - but never thought of such an excessive use of the SIN GND machines. I was lusting so badly for an MD-UW Version, but is insane what you've created "just" with the X.05. Studying the sysesx will keep me busy for some time...
    Also the footage is awesome! Fully supported on Bandcamp!
    I am looking forward for more!

      Thank you so much! MD even without the UW is absolutely amazing! After "gnd scheme" I did use the internal sampling on my next album and liveset but also dove deeper with the MD synthesis. The sysex for the "where we went" liveset (th-cam.com/video/JoCt8bSlWJQ/w-d-xo.html) should still work on a non-UW Machinedrum for the synthesised sounds. You can find the second sysex here: www.elektronauts.com/t/my-second-machinedrum-only-album-and-liveset/171982
      Anyway, thanks again for your comment and support!

    Splendid ! I'm going to give X0.5 a go once I can summon up the courage ! ( I'm not a technically brave type of chap . Murphy's law knows where I live ! )

    Super nice! How does this new firmware change the gnd machines? They used to be just sine, right?

    • @hemmeligfin
      @hemmeligfin  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you! The unofficial firmware introduces GND saw and pulse waves and, perhaps most importantly, gives you the option to use these (and other machines) in tonal mode which means the values/notes are in 12-TET tuning. Makes it a lot easier to program melodies and chords and have them sit nicely in a track with other instruments.

    It sounds fantastic ! How do you manage pitch on gnds ? I can't find any spreadsheet on internet on which pitch is which note.
    And last but not least, your working with a third party sequencer I guess right ?
    I need to dig my own for a bit, just got my hands on one this summer but couldn't find the time to do it.
    Anyway, keep up the good work. You have a new subscriber

      Thank you, Maurice! It’s all sequenced in the Machinedrum. Actually I don’t know which pitch is which note. I just go by ear. The ”TONAL” tuning, which was introduced in the unofficial X.04 firmware in the spring, implements a quarter-tone equal tempered tuning scale across the PTCH parameter of the GND sine, pulse and saw machines (among some others).

      @hemmeligfin  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@mauricelebrun6299 As long as you’re in TONAL mode, it shouldn’t be hard to check which pitch is which note. Have fun!

    Korpinen on Elektronauts?
    Sezare56 here. I bought an MD again because of you. 😉

      Don't know how I missed your comment, so sorry! How are you liking the MD and unofficial firmware? So cool you liked my MD stuff, thank you so much! Your Octatrack stuff has been very inspiring to me all the years I've had the OT.

      Unfortunately since a few months no time to dive in MD with X os nor other machine.
      Hopefully during winter...
