Here's a friendly tip when displaying callout information panels - when you put it on the screen, read what it says out loud before you take it off the screen again. Currently I have to rewind the video then pause it in order to read all the words. Thanks

That defeats the Purpose mate. I can't please everyone. I just pause the video if I'm watching a video with information, I was waiting for a negative comment. Have a wonderful day, mate 👍

@@colindobson4045 Shame, I prefer not to interrupt the good music you choose. I might instead try to read the info before it disappears and then go back later to the bits I couldn't catch in time. Cheers and thanks for doing these vids, we wouldn't really get to see the progress otherwise.

@Martin G I'm going to start doing voiceovers for some of my videos. This might be another option cheers col 👍

@@colindobson4045 Hi Colin. I can see where my helpful tip has been lost in translation - my bad. What I meant was in order to work out how long to display the information when doing your editing, just speak the words to yourself, when you finish doing that, that's when to take the information off screen. It's not a perfect way to do the timing, but it might help to avoid it being too short a time.
Your suggestion that you might do a voiceover is actually a good one. Looking away to read text on screen can mean you sometimes miss what's going on in the vision.
Thanks for the reply, sorry about the misunderstanding.

Did you know the long time plan if what I have read and heard is correct that when this airport is fully operational the plan is to close Mascot as it has to many limitations and many newer aircraft Mascot can not handle. Then again the good news is most of us will be no longer by then or to old to worry. The footage here and Jay Dog will be so great in Australian Historical Archives . These two guys make us proud of the time they take to record and publish.

Thanks for watching and your kind words. However, I've read that mascot will still be operational, just not at the capacity it is now, and western Sydney airport will increase capacity over the years the airport should be opened by late 2026
Western Sydney airport will also have a second runway cheers col 👍

No it wont close. It will stay operational, however the Western Sydney International (WSI) will be running 24/7 whereas the Sydney airport can operates from like 5am to 12am
