    I travel down Elizabeth Dr and up Wallgrove Rd every day to work and each time I stop at those traffic lights I cant help but be amazed at how its coming along, its an impressive sight to see 👌🏽

    Excellent clip. The flyover from M7 southbound to M12 westbound will have a hell of a good view

      If it is a good view there is a trend to erect high side barriers so that drivers aren't distracted, but then put artwork on it so that drivers below are distracted.

      @@colindobson4045 all good mate...it's progression is full speed ahead regarding the M12I think it'll open before the Airport opens for sure but the interchange will be blocked off from the public except for the Elizabeth Drive on and off ramps.

      @Ram84_1 yeah I think the m7-m12 interchange will open after the rest of the motorway maybe the Western end will open first at the northern road then hopefully the m7 end maybe 3 months later

    You really have to wonder why the M7 was not made triple lane from day more than 20 years ago as the extra cost then would have been the small fraction of the now cost for this fiasco - and it is now obvious that the western Sydney Airport is specifically being built to deliberately bypass the inland Melbourne - Parkes - Brisbane rail line that has been delayed for many years and stopped at every opportunity because the inland rail line would be far more efficient and use far less diesel fuel (per mas load - same distance) than B-Doubles (and not rapidly damage the highways) - and these freight planes (Tullamarine - West Sydney - West Brisbane) will use far more very expensive avgas than B-Doubles. We have far too many totally compromised (Oil Industry Lobby (OIL)) idiots in our Governments.

      You know how things work these days. There's no Foresight Bradfield had vision even back in the 1920s with his harbour Bridge

      @@colindobson4045 Although John Bradfield had the vision and was the “Chief Engineer” in this project, - it was really Ralph Freeman who conceived the actual design and construction process of the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
      John Bradfield also had a vision of water being pumped from the Burdekin River (Livingston Dam) - west over the not so high Great Dividing Range (GDR) into Central Queensland to irrigate the (coal rich) black soil plains in Central Queensland - much like that of the MIA area in NSW.
      (Cynically) If there were (many more) pollies in Central QLD then the Burdekin River Scheme would have happened decades ago and the added wealth for Australia will be tremendous.

      Yea so many people like myself have sad the same thing, why two lanes and not three? I drive under and over the M7 and have done so for about a decade now and for the most part it's slow moving and heavily congested, it doesn't make any sense 🤷🏽‍♂️

    Another toll?

      probably

    • @juddy953
      @juddy953 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      No it's meant to be free, but it leads you onto the toll network so eventually it will become tolled once traffic volume increases
      Then after years of grid lock they will make it into 3 lanes each way

    • @davepearce9135

      What’s wrong with tolls boys and girls, user pays, so what, drive for free, who’s on the wacky tobaci now. Goen fishen this weekend who’s up for double cheese burger, time I had a bath, bye bye

    • @juddy953
      @juddy953 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @davepearce9135 it's the price of tolls that's the issue and also most people use 1 or 2 just to get to work. So it can end up costing people $20 each way
