Ferreira is one of the most underrated artists out there right now, hope he gets the recognition he deserves this year, great video too as always!

I come back to this interview when I feel lost, alone, disconnected, etc. and I always get something positive out of it. I’ve been following Milo/rap rerreira since I was in middle school. Rory’s mom came to my high school in Gorham Maine and mentioned his name in the auditorium and I had already found him on Spotify and was listening to him that day before his mom came. All that to say I’m deeply connected to this dudes music and to hear this interview with an amazing listener being the interviewer is wild. Really appreciate this find in the TH-cam algorithm

This was a great interview, I stumbled upon this randomly and I'm glad I did,
EricTheYoungGawd you have a new subscriber. R.A.P. Ferreira, I've always been inspired by how you've blazed your own trail as an artist and I can't wait to see what you do next. I think all artists can relate to trying to find the balance between creating for other people and creating for themselves. That balance gets complicated when you're trying to make a living as an artist/develop relationships with consumers of your art. The part about the blues and cultural music got me thinking... It's tough because I would like to see blues better represented on TH-cam for example but the other part of me is like... if some white dude in Switzerland likes blues music enough to teach it and make a TH-cam channel about it... that's cool too. Idk... Anyway, thanks for this doods, loved it.

I been hearing a lot about R.A.P Ferreira and I thought I would mess with him based off descriptions but hearing this interview and the whole part about George Jackson definitely see myself being a fan of bro once i get more familiar with the music

This shit is so sweet and deep. I feel like I shouldn't even be watching/listening in on the conversation. that how much you'll where studying! Obviously I'm doing too much. It's an interview but truss you'll were talking. this sounds stupid but it really never really truly factored in the folk, then by expansion, the culture in the term cultural appropriation. The ongoing dispossession of the folk and it being put to work or industrialised and abstracted or disappeared is crazy. I don't really know for sure but in the UK me and the people I know say black people, but I hear a lot of the diaspora in America use black folk. shits starting to make sense even though I'm not making any. You'll have said it all already. Been meaning to read Huey and George Jackson. I'd love to recommend you'll check out Joy James if you haven't already heard of her work.
Both of you do doing such great and inspiring work excited for the reviews and interviews and the music and anime! love x
