i grew into ebtg in 1993 have never heard this song till feb 2024, stunning work. what a treasure of mind.
This is beautiful, but always makes me cry !
Me too. It made me cry so much last year that I contacted my ex, drove across the country, and got my dog back! Forever grateful for this song. For the life of me I cannot understand why it’s uptempo on the album.
One of the most thoughtful songs ever, makes me so sad having been there but so happy now that I’m not
Amen!
Ben has been a favourite artist / writer of mine since North Marine Drive - everything he does oozes class - this is a gorgeous song - his work with Bernard is absolutely sublime
Ben is a beautiful human being.
It is not until you have lost someone or something special, that you realise just how sad this song is
Perfection. Sound quality, Intimacy and emotionally.
Incredibly beautiful song 💜
Simple and moving, it doesn't get much better.
I'm your age Ben and have been up the Sussex Downs with my dad on a visit back to the UK, checking out some of his favourite places from where he grew up. You're right, they are as lovely as it gets.
Looking forward to the show in Toronto. Thank you for all the great music you've given us in all stages of your career! Cheers
I never really rated Bernard Butler until I saw this, superb performance on both parts, and a beautiful song.
One of my favourite albums from the last 10 years.
Ben Watt and Bernard Butler of Suede. Magnificent.
Watched this a thousand times, never fails to amaze me, a great combination!
Saw him on the Hendra tour (in NYC). This is by far my favorite song of his, although I love all his work (solo and with EBTG). "But who am I fooling when I say I have no regret? You can push things to the back of your mind, but you can never forget."
I absolutely adore this song .its beautiful and I play it over and over. Perfect chillout .ben ur solo music is just perfect.
My favourite of all Ben’s solo work
Everything Bernard Butler plays on is always class 🎸
hendra is an excellent work and his best!
Ben & Tracy remain peerless singer-songwriters. Much respect!
That keyboard is dancing with your vocal beautifully.
beautiful song and beautiful album. thanks Ben.
I will always remember Bens concert in London a few years ago, in a chapel, it was wonderful..
Stunning track ! Bought the album on the strength of it
This is achingly beautiful!
What a pearl Ben.Thanks for sharing.
une pure beauté
une très belle voix et . . . quelle technique vocale ! ! !
Warms the cockles of your heart
Beautiful song, makes me want to buy the album :)

Seeing him live soon. Sounds absolutely stunning. Bernard is my age and still looks 25? WTF.
Dreamin’ atmosphere.....thanks!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻😃
fine performance...incredible how Bernard´s voice ressembles Jackson Browne...( at last to me)
The church accoustics is fantastic too.
Meravigliosa!
Amazing
Wow, beautiful version.
Chapeau bas .
I wish the album version were slow like this. Fucking love this song.
love your music!!!
love this song
Beautiful song.
Inspiring. Thanks for beauty!
At points in this song, Ben's voice reminds me of Jacskon Brown's (cannot say that about any other of Ben's songs I've heard). Would love to hear a full production version of this song.
really lovely
Incredible.
warm and beautiful
Brilliant! Please come and tour Australia with Tracey
Great track !
No words.
Brian Conway Smith never get tired of listening to this beautiful song
Wow. Thanks
Wonderful:)
Good Stuff
Sublime
Nice song
If only Bernard didn't leave Suede...
Ouvindo no Brazil
this guy is unreal ....
How o,ld is that church? Look like some black , structure is holding it together. Like my Dad's church, stilts are holding it together. Huge but old over a hundred in a bad part of town. The walls of the church are pink, and it is beautiful but falling a part. Stain glass every where. There is stain glass that always caught my attention it looks like a big circle, a port hole. I always thought that. I never forget. I forgive..

Singing and Songwriting is beautiful, but Butlers guitar playing is just not for me
I get that Butler is a little off in some places and is noodling a bit too much but in a weird way the imperfect playing add a certain fragility to the song.
Amazing
