When is Tomoa getting his own anime?
Not having split screens for the two climbing simultaneously is such a drag. Very odd directional choice.
The Japanese national team has proved one more time how strong it is in climbing. They are very focused these guys!!!!!Great job Tomoa👏👏
Spoiler alert, you monster!
the direction on this stream was aweful. all the time focusing on one guy chalking up while the other is doing something spectacular off screen
It was extremely frustrating!
The first ❤😂🎉 happy for me too baby boy and I’m happy to see that you’re enjoying the rest your life baby boy and you deserve
The first thing that comes out is the new update to daddy on hoooklp is a little different from last time
Yeah for example on 50:45 like why not focus on the frenchman??
thank you for making this accessible again!
My pleasure! Cheers :D
I understand that due to saving time, then multiple climbers at the same time make sense. As someone watching this on YT it's horrible.
I agree, and the director makes wrong choises. Its something to work on.
The stadium announcer and the music were unbearable. I turned off the sound afterwards. Anyway, thanks for the video. It was a very exciting competition.
Hey thanks a lot for the video HOWEVER, for each video, you're spoiling it by putting the picture of the winner on the title image of a video. If you could change that, it'd be perfect!
Put the cameraman😂
Comps look definitely quite different than 10yrs ago, the route setter make a hell of a job and the show is truly spectacular! (Although some routes and basically all bldr problems are now pretty far for the old school climbing those of > 40 y.o.like me feel more familiarity with)
Tomoa is the best
Lucky for the men ai mori wasn't there inkognito to kick their ass.
Damn, those Japanese men’s bodies are tight, those legs! They are so fit and determined. Way to go Nihon!❤
1:25:02 194cm is his arm span, not his height, he is 186cm tall.
47:55 WHAT THE FUUUUCK?
PAUL JENFT !!!!!!!!!!!
If someone recognises any of the music they used for this event, I would be forever grateful for any details because the set was absolutely fire
The music was a great symbiose, I agree! One cool song I could find is this one: 'Utro Na Zemle - Travertia".
Let me know if you find more cool ones. Btw I just used shazam. :p
@@brunodm1573 Didn't think to use shazam! Great thinking. Thank you :)
Dance of the Shaman during Tomoa doing the lead... great atmosphere by the crowd and by the local hosts
Tomoa. Legend.
Most of them on Boulder 2 be like: hey uh setters you guys forgot a hold😂
nIce ! this video is geo locked for my country on the IFSC channel, do you also have acces to the bouldering semi finals ?
The final was geo locked for me but not the semifinals so you might still be able to access those on the IFSC TH-cam channel.
@@MatthewEJames for the semi final i have access to the routes but not the bouldering
great show, but is there someone else that is annoyed by the music during boulders ?
I'm feeling frustrated... I want to see the final, but can't see the finalists. Don't know, I don't want to complain, but maybe split screen with a camera on each climber, or so would help
music at 10:00 ....... Johnny Hammond "Fantasy"........ surprised to hear that.
what are the patches/bandaids on the climbers?
It looks like every athlete has like some sort of stickers on them (on shoulder/arm) Anyone know what that is for?
They're titanium patches. It's beleived that they somehow good for the muscles.
@@olesyaluk443 Oh for real? Is there any scientific research on that?
The japanese know how to use their home turf. Maybe the food gave them a boost too. Really easy going and not much nervousness felt there. Pretty impressive. I also think they have a pretty good team spirit. But hopefully Adam Ondra returns to full strength again next season.
Oh, believe me they were nervous :) Tomoa got freaked out when the first few people came off boulder one so quickly. He kept saying 'oh, it's one of those??' and repeating that it made him nervous. I think him, Kokoro and Yoshiyuki are just so used to it that they can still execute regardless.
he won't
What are the little round things stuck on some of the climbers' shoulders & arms?
Suction cup for recovery
no, they said in the stream that it was metal (titanium?) patches that are supposed to help with muscle performance
@@max_kl yes - and placebo effect is very powerful
Put the pic of comentator in thumbnail. Or the DJ's set 😂
who are the commentators?
Hi there!
They are Matt Groom and Alannah Yip 😁
@@DonkeyClimbMedia thank you!!!😃
They’re not super trained for commenting it seems
@@rosaleen1004 VERY GOOD AT COMMENTING!!!!
Dang top 3 are Japanese! They dominate this sport!
51:02
41:02 bruh
The background audio is so loud that it drowns the commentary.
8:08 lool
really hate the splitscreen stuff - hope they stop doing it.
This format was not the best to be able to see in live every single athlete. I don't like to watch the replay
I really don't like the format with two people bouldering at the same time
1:12:00
Idle prattle of the commentators is annoying. Furthermore, some of the comments are off base; for example, Paul's flash of B2 wasn't "all the more amazing", after Tamoa, because his reach clearly made a difference. They would do well to listen to the professionals on other sports broadcasts.
