hey,, did this fix the issue with the rubber melting on the units? my push 2 had that
Apparently they did change the surface to something non sticky
Hi, while some units of earlier versions of Push did have an issue with the device’s rubber coating, this was already resolved with more recent production runs. The new Push uses a different, higher-quality coating, which is far more stable and reliable.
Can it handle 1 hour live sets in 1 project or will it fail at this?
The battery of the standalone Push can handle a 2-2.5 hours of play time with a high quality, built-in lithium iron phosphate battery. The tethered version of Push 3 is connected to a power cable. More info here: bit.ly/3oMqRFi
does Capture also records the MPE expressivity?
Hi Frank - Thanks for the comment. It does indeed! Thanks - Ableton
What about the groove pool?
But still no arrangement view not even a dedicated button to switch on and off, you still need to reach the mouse or press tab..
Great video!Thank you. Push 3 is 🔥
Where can I find the drift preset Flute Synth?
Hi! You can find the Flute Synth Drift preset in the Live Core Library. Click on Instruments and select Synths. Locate the Flute Synth in the appropriate category. Then scroll through the presets until you find Drift. Here's more information: brnw.ch/21wOxGY
@@Ableton I don't have it and I'm on Ableton Version 12.1.1.
What's the shelf life on this iteration of the soft-touch plastic? My 2 mad sticky.

🎉🎉🎉 LET’S GOOOooo!
Not sure if I missed, was this stand alone only? If so, when I load certain packs, my push 3 crashes, is that a fix with later updates or a causality of war. Meaning bad push 3
Hi! If you already have an Ableton Account, you can use this form to get in touch with Tech Support: bit.ly/3RdfeBk.
Cool. Thanks. I’ve been touch this week with y’all/ ableton. Im being patient waiting on most of the kinks to be worked out. Good piece of gear. Waiting on you guys to do more training videos instead of demonstration vids. You’re on the screen anyways. Might as well give us users step by step ways to produce on this thing. We don’t need anymore demonstration vids. TH-cam creators got that already
I cant find the option to switch between horizontal and vertical in note mode.
Easily found it on push 2 but it definitely isnt in the same place on the push 3
Hi Roger,
Thanks for the comment.
The option to switch between horizontal and vertical in note mode is not currently supported in Push 3. Sorry for the bad news! It's possible it may come back with future updates, but we can't say for sure right now.
Thanks,
Ableton
@@Ableton figured. Definitely needs to be updated.
Still no per drumRack pad pitch mode?? Come on Ableton, NativeKontrol (Stray) implemented that many years ago on Push 1. Would have preferred to see more innovation from Ableton for Push3 tbh. Feeling a bit underwhelmed for this.
why there is still no tuner visualizer on push 2 after 11.3 update?? if you claim that now you can use ur push 3 standalone, how it could be possible without tuner??? so many simple things is still missing...
Hi, thanks for your feedback on Push, we'll make sure to forward it accordingly! If you have any further suggestions for us, feel free to send your ideas to push-feedback@ableton.com. We'll happily collect all of them and look forward to hearing from you.
Do i need to have the paid ableton to connect and download packs? Are there any packs already loaded on the machine itself?
@robertmein8576 Push 3 comes with a free Live 11 Intro license as well as many packs. You can choose to upgrade to a higher edition of Live or buy additional packs to use with it.
Thanks@@Ableton
