@@rockoplays3862 They already have licensing deals from truck manufacturers. Why would they they need to get new licenses for rigid trucks? They only need to ask their current license partners for permission to add a rigid chassis in the game for existing trucks. No need for extra licensing.

Lane assist looks funny with force feedback. I can just take my hands off the wheel and it will move by itself. Add adaptive cruise control to the mix and you can almost have full autopilot

Start new map combo no promods for 1.50
Can't wait to get into the final release. I noticed you had a 3060ti which is the same as me - would you consider doing a video on the settings you use for the new TAA and other graphical features in 1.50? I've played around with my 3060 but it still looks nowhere as good as your videos do and I'm lost to know exactly what to use and what settings etc.

Far shadows looks so much better! No more driving into tunnels and seeing the shadows render 200 meters in front of me.
still nothing on winter conditions like snowy and icy roads....
The core problem is still there. I have to use mods to get minimum hud. Minimap is still there, all the info about the job is behind so many buttons to see.
why they don't just improve it. All they have to do is separate the sleep, fuel, damage, etc icons on the left, and right wherever we want and make it transparent and
show in round circles changing colors according to change. After some time it all gets boring. then I try to use only the direction board but everything is in a different language
they need to work on that. Maybe add something like, you start your company small with a terrible navigation system but you deliver satellites to Launch stations and improve
your navigation so you can complete long deliveries. Help your AI workers in trouble either complete their deliveries or spend money to build a service that can go and fix your AI truck.
Slowly Slowly improving everything in your station. and buying a car and house going home sleeping then going to work

They better not be changing the UI. Hopefully if they do someone will create a mod to bring back the old UI

@@manydragons2582 I wouldn't call it an improvement, let alone a vast improvement. However now that I've seen it I've got to admit that it's not too bad. I still prefer the old one by a huge margin but I'm going to get used to this. It's just unnecessarily complicated and quite bland for now
@@tojapb1915 Yeah I can see that it’s going to take some learning but from what I’ve seen I do think it’s going to improve the way I personally interact with the game but that may not be everyone’s experience
how is it unnecessarily complicated lol, its not. its just not what you're used to, they've kept the same ui for over 10 years, imo its due a change even if it is indeed a love hate thing.
Just because you like the old one more doesn't mean the new one is bad. And about it being complicated is not true, as an old player coming back to ets2 I'd say it's a massive improvement and easy to understand. Maybe you're just so used to the old one that changes feels like a nuisance to you rather than it being unnecessarily complicated
tbh this is a good Update also change that you havent noticed cause its not visable for end user is that this update seems to add some signs to adding electric trucks in code. however i wouldnt say its like biggest update ever (Convoy was the one) good thing that they addef TAA it will improve overall how game looks. Also 1.50 is only example while i like new UI really SCS should teach discord how to do it :D

Duisburg has an amazing update, best update in a long time. I could imagine when truckersmp updates this to 1:50 that there will be a lot of players around. Still hoping one day that UK gets a fresh update, feels like its been untouched for years since the UK was introduced to the game
The shadows are moving/flickering on vehicles and objects. They need to fix that

Use free camera and move close to the shadows. You can see it moving/glitching. My friend has the same issue. Fences and road barriers are the most noticeable.

@@ZackVFX Did you try enabling TAA? And did you completely remove any graphical modifications (e.g Nvidia profile inspector)?

there is still a few bugs here and there 😞
for example i have a ro license plate on my truck and now it suddenly switched to a random austrian license plate bcs that's where i quick traveled
if so will every single county like tralee killarney limerick cork waterford wexford galway sligo rosslare europort westport donegal dublin drogheda and dundalk and northern ireland be added?

They went from the experimental straight to full version in less than a month which is why this is so buggy.
I played for hours, literally no bugs. No bugs is why they went from experimental to full release lol

Truck falling straight through the map and there is no ground. The frame rate is really choppy and loading times take so much longer than 1.49 did.

Not to mention the shadows glitching. Its really annoying how they missed that saying they improved it.

Can anyone confirm if VR is fully supported or if its still a beta opt in? Wouldn't mind getting back into this at some point, but can't use my monitor due to how my rig is setup now
VR seems to work better when tested for like 10minutes, no more bug that made the game stutter every second until restart.
I love SCS. My Freightliner FLB is no more but the game is awesome anyway ♥

the biggest change is that "huge lag" has reappeared !!! Thank you SCS !!! There was absolutely no lag after some 1.49.x update. And don't wonder... My rig is good I think (Ryzen5 / 32GB / Radeon7600)
The User Interface is not full translated. In german Language, many options and texts are still in english. =)

with this update the interior of some trucks such as the Scania models and Mercedes models show up in fully pink. Is there a way I can resolve this?

Dude SCS Software are nailing it!! The game is just clean the new antialiasing feature was a must have on the game!! Rendering is just fine now no more lag or stutters!! Not joking I actually ask my boss to give me 2 weeks of vacation because I need to play ets!! 😂😂😂😂 so yeah more two days and I’m free to enjoy that beauty!!! I really enjoy any type of simgames but ets it’s different man there is something I can’t explain I’m working and thinking about the deliveries I must make!! 😂😂😂😂😂❤❤

i'd prefer not to have to reinstall the game if possible, I am trying not to do that otherwise it'd take hours as I have a HDD dedicated to steam games which is quite slow at WRITING to the disk.

In all seriousness, do we have a general indication of what mods are working at this time? Like others have said, I only plan to drive through the new Swiss area just to see it and uncover the new cities added this update, then again with the Greece DLC, then that's it. Nothing more until enough of, like the map mods, all update to 1,50.

@@vutomyI currently don't use any map mods, and the only mod I use that doesn't work with the 1.50 update is a simple navigation mod.
Can’t lie, I was slightly disappointed as I expected more. I’m not hating on the developers, they have done an amazing job and I know it’s far from easy to work on a game of this scale. The new UI is great but I was expecting a new Scania or Volvo and a few more reworked areas as the 1.50 update is a special number. Personally I don’t think this disappointment was any fault of the developers, but the ETS2 content creators like yourself hyping stuff up, not naming any names. If you are still reading this then what are you doing with life, I don’t have a clue what i’m talking about here and if your thinking i’m not right in the head, I agree! 😂
I sort of agree - to me it's more of a general upgrade to graphics and performance and while I welcome that I just wish SCS would spend a lot more time on the shonky traffic AI and the utterly random/stupid speeding tickets: how can you get a ticket on a tiny back road at 3am with not a single other vehicle around? And the ridiculous issue where all the traffic stops at a roundabout or at lights for a traffic jam or some totally minor accident and none of the AI vehicles move, even if there's plenty of room to get around the blockage - so you have to do move using the CTRL-F9 hack. I just think the core game still needs so many improvements to AI and general gameplay before giving us fine dust particles and cascading shadows.
The trucks are coming. Not in the same day as the official update. Give it time
New trucks can be added within 1.50, they don't really need a major version change. Hopefully things will start to get going soon, as ETS2 is quite a bit behind on new truck releases compared to ATS.

You need to wait for the ProMods team to update and release the new compatible version. That may take some time.
