I love the Pica Pau books! I'm making the donkey right now, his little poncho is so cute 😍 I love how Yan adds cute little extras to her characters 💞 I'm also obsessed with the Aquatic Amigurumi book, I can't wait to tackle those patterns! 🧶

Omg thank you for saying that about the unicorn and dragon book!!! I also thought the amigurumis in the book would be smaller!!! I started the phoenix using a scrab ball and after like an hour had to stop because I was running out of yarn and had barely made it half way through the head. It was the first book I bought and I haven’t made anything from it since mainly because of the finished size of the projects.
What was the hook yarn, which you used? I did two plushies with the hook 7, and they are huge but adorable. But also I made a baby dragon and pegasus with hooks 2.5-3mm, and they are pretty small

I just finished Monty the Moose and have just begun Hamish the Hamster with his cute strawberries. You are so right about size! Yarn, hook size, tension all can affect final size. Just saw le Petit Saint Elise’s suggestion: make a sample ball to test out for sizing…

Personally, I myself need to get better at not being so lazy and actually look over the pattern a little better before I begin. Lol 😆 Like actually look at the finished size listed, look at their yarn and hook used, and read over that pattern a bit before I begin. 😊
I have the first Amigurumi treasures book, and think they are all so cute! I made the pig in blanket yarn and she turned out huge. She was a custom order for a coworker’s son, and I adapted a different character’s flight cap to fit her and added wings to make her a pilot pig. And I just ordered the newest one that has the fairies and forest friends, I’m so excited! Also I only started crocheting in June 😂 Last, I have your last book, the world of creepy creatures and cryptids. I did make Nosferatu, plus many more of them. I really enjoy these ones.
Thank you for this! I made Nessie from the cryptids book. She was easy to make. There is sewing involved. I'm taking her with me when I go to Loch Ness later this year 💗🐭
