Hi Alice, yay! I was going to tag you when I end up doing mine. Thank you for joining in on this tag😄, I thoroughly enjoyed watching. It was your book videos that have changed my mind about multiple amigurumi books. I find that when I see someone flip through a book or show an amigurumi that they've worked up, I tend to be more interested in purchasing the pattern/book. Something about real people showing and telling 😅

I really think I need to get a Monsters amigurumi book, they look great fun! Also, super stashbusters, as it really doesn't matter what colours you use. Thanks so much for your videos, I watch them all!

I learnt amigurumi from Zoomigurumi books - I have them all including all their others that they publish - they are so easy to follow wonderful photos to follow along with
I'd love a review of the crochet animals book, definitely up my alley. Thank you thank you for doing this tag. It was as wonderful as I thought it would be. And I have added some books to my list. I'm obsessed with Ami books. I have 59 so far but I've got so many more on my want list. I love your book reviews they are the best. And I'm still holding out for crochet roulette😉🤣 I'm a sucker for a wheel and chance 🤪. Also I recommend the Pica Pau books because they are amazing and they'd make a wonderful addition to your collection. Also I think youd come up with so fun colors and spin on the already precious quirky characters. Wonderful video as always my friend Alice! 👋

The circus book is great. I made the circus dog and ball the parrot . I do want to make more of them but working on grandpa from the book Lula. I got side tracked by Sophie’s universe 200 pages of a blanket. Lol

Crochet Iconic Women is amazing. So far, I've made one Emmeline Pankhurst, two Elizabeth the Seconds, two Rosa Parks-es and one J. K. Rowling that I improvised based on the other patterns. My younger cat has eaten one corner of the cover, so I think she likes the book, too.

I have a few of the same books, it's nice to know that I'm not the only one that gets them, then doesn't get round to using them 🙄🙄🤣🤣 If you're anything like me, you see it, like it, decide that you really need to have it and then it sits on the shelf until something crops up and you think, 'Oh, I have the perfect book for that!' I bet, if you did a poll, there would be lots more of us than you thought.

This was a super fun video! Don't feel bad you have not made patterns from a bunch of the books! I have a decent crochet book selection which I haven't done patterns from them. I have been working on a bunch of blankets and plan to get into my books! You can never have too many books :) Have a great day love!

@@starlightandstitches Just so you know: Bluecherubcrochet is doing EXACTLY THAT and she is inviting youtuber as well as " viewers" to participate with her! She started in January 2023. I can't remember if she chosed February yet, but the " rules" are very open and you can decidev to do another one

@@starlightandstitches 😊Yep - nearest village is 5 miles away & no public transport out here so not easy with injured peeps!🐕our Kody was raised with a cat & has a lot of cat-like tendencies such as wrapping around your legs!🤣❤❤

First I must say I'm so glad I found your channel. I just love your enthusiasm about your craft. I'm doing a marathon of watching your videos. I can't believe that you haven't been crocheting for longer than what you've mentioned. I love your videos on the individual amigurumi books. I have questions for you what yarn and hook do you use? What kind of yarn do you suggest. Where did you find the pattern for the care bears I'm being blessed with an addition to my family my 9th grandchild and Im over joyed with this addition and would love to make him a special handmade toy from grandma. Its such a pleasure watching and learning from you ☺

I use a really cheap set of crochet hooks that I found on Amazon a couple of years ago- nothing fancy at all, but I really like them so I havnt had the need to upgrade to a named brand. For a lot of my Amigurumis I use the stylecraft special chunky yarn, with a 4.5mm hook. Most of the ones behind me have been made with that calibration. I really love making the characters with a chunky yarn but you can use any weight of yarn at all! Sometimes I use other yarns if I’m feeling funky and just adjust the hook size accordingly. The Care Bears are a free pattern from stringy ding ding online! They were actually pretty simple to do!

Hello, first time here! I really enjoyed your take on that tag😃I did whatched several others videos on this # , and I still learned some new stuff watching yours! For exemple, no one ( I think...) mentionned and did show the back cover of the book" Crochet animals mix and match" ( I taught the " mix and matched" applied to the clothes that fit all the caracters in the book! ...) But, since its similar to Edwards menagerie books ( on animal, and another on monsters...), you changed my mind on this book and I really would like to buy it! !💚💚💚 Thank you soo much! I will come back on your channel for sure! It would be fun to do a :" review" on this book , if you didn't made it yet! ( I'm going right now check your play list for yours reviewed books!😉

Loved this video! Would love if you did a wheel and span it to see what project you would work on next for amigurumi! If you spun the wheel and it said for example the book kawaii crochet and then you did a random number generator with the amount of patterns there are!! Love this and love this community! I have the flower babies book by Bas Den Braver and have made 3 of them so far in different sizes and love them.

Thank you so much for stopping by ☺️ The amigurumi shelf is getting a little out of hand- I need more space but my little house has no more corners to tick them in😄 I found them quite easy to make- I used the free pattern by stringy-ding-dings. Once I had done one it was plain sailing! Thanks again for being here (there’s a new crochet book review coming out today!) x

I have a question about the bat as I've been trying to make him for quite some time. Is part of his body meant to be straight like his back straight and front front round? As I have great difficulty with him in trying to get him completely rounded. And his head gives me dome trouble too instead of round speare i sometimes get an ovel shape.
