An articulate overview of the Cordoba from a player who is more than qualified to do so. Thank you.

Excellent guitar playing and a very professional presentation, Dre. Got my Stage today and it is superlative. Fast neck, low action and the classical sound I love.

Well…they got me. I’m headed in to the Allen Park store to buy one tomorrow.

Got a chance to try one this week at GC. Was blown away by how it sounds acoustically. I was waiting for the new ibanez electric nylons but this guitar is too good to pass up.

Recorded with an external limiter (not on board) You can hear the thumpy attack produced by lot of limiting with a slower attack.

I don’t know what Polyfia is yet nor do I care. Bought one for pedal vehicle and soloing.

I bet you're a outstanding musician , but your bossa Nova playing is really far from real bossa Nova...but don't get me wrong bossa Nova is really hard to play if you're not totally in to it...thank you for bringing Tom Jobim memories to this video...our best Brazilian composer ever!!!

If someone is coming from playing only shred neck electric guitars, how difficult would it be to make the transition or switching back and forth from this because the nut is wider ( more space between the strings)

I seem to make the transition pretty easily - and at 77 y/o, that's a trick! I also play bass and jump to 12 string or classic acoustic all the time. It only trakes feeling the weight and shape to get the ol' muscle memory to kick in and say: "This ain't no Bass" and it just happens.

Typing --- OTOH --- is a lot harder.

I think it’s easier then steel string acoustic for sure. Let’s face it….classical nylon string players shred.

I've always had issues with Cordoba and their lower prices guitars. marginal tuners, subpar electronics. and from what real reviews are saying, the extremely high action out of the box.
think I'll wait for Ilbanez and Tim Hensen's TOD10N, coming out in a few months, at the same price

I played one at a guitar center for like an hour and fell in love with it. Probably gonna buy it for myself for Christmas.

This style of guitar failed miserably in the 80s,its only because of Polyphia that it's making a comeback

I think the problem with those was that it was a traditional neck so it didn't know what it was yet.

@@joshuadevries3459they were made with those specs because the main target was to sell them to classical guitar players that toured with artists and needed to amplify their instruments without feedback
