Had remembered, yet slightly forgotten how wonderful the song and how clever this clip was - one of those rare ones that doesn't spoil the song itself. The visual references to America (cool dance moves, you girls!) are cool and without labour. This track's source album, "The Pleasure of Your Company", together with "Local And/Or General" were fabulous works - by turns energetic and minimalist. Great stuff! & a great band, especially live!
Yes it is. And Zan Abeyratne. I long thought that it was Vika and Linda Bull but it’s not - I just looked it up. Zan has an identical twin sister Sherine who also sang with The Models. And later Wendy Matthews sang with them.
10 out of 10 - the best lineup - Models at their peak - just bloody brilliant
Rip James this song will live on forever
He was such a great artist! Miss him❤
Great clip.
God bless America - the great scrapyard that it has become.
On top of your game Kelly and gang.😄👍
The bassline is so fucking badass on this
I haven't heard this song since watching it on Sounds in the mid Eighties.
Sounds bloody brilliant.
Searing bass lines and breaks,James really was that good.
Man, James could really lay down those fat funky bass lines. Great song.
Sean P Kelly is an absolute genius lyricist. This song certainly proves my point.

Ken Oath!
It’s 2023 and this track, almost 40 years on, is so ridiculously relevant. The US & PRC flags and US hegemonic lyrics are deeply profound.
Too true 😊
Interesting! Sounds quite progressive for the times, avant-garde even! Great song!
Aw yes Kate and Zan as backup girls!
Soo underrated. Awesome
Out of this world music
I'd forgotten about this lil beauty until TH-cam's algorithm recommended it. Nicccccce.
Very top song.
The best lineup right here
My thoughts exactly.
Kate Cebrano as back up!?!?!
Also appears in Model's "Barbados" if I recall correctly

Big Fat Base from James Freud. RIP
Sean kelly is good at the models
FRICKEN CHESTNUT
Easy target. Awful noise.
