  • @kennylopezjeetkunedo5555
    @kennylopezjeetkunedo5555 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    The punch he's showing is actually part of the Jeet Kune Do repertoire, but there's more variations of it, plus you have the flick jab also known as the eliptical punch which Bruce Lee called the unblockable punch that he was shooting at Vic Moore!!
    As for blocking the punch, once you understand wing chun and know how to apply the centerline principles, that straight line punch that Michael jai White is doing can be blocked!! Someone like Jesse couldn't block it because of how his stance is(he's too wide open) and the way he positions his arms. And most of the guys Michael Jai white does that punch on are MMA guys and most MMA guys don't have top tier martial arts skillsets, they're sport fighters, so you can get away with that against them. He tries that punch on a Master Wong or Adam Chan,(2 highly skilled martial artist) guarantee they can block it!!
    And yes, most of Bruce Lee's techniques in his movies are real!! He's just pulling his punches and doing his fight scenes a certain way but you can use all of those techniques in real time when you really know it. Like one sequence in the Chinese Connection when he killed that chef in the kitchen that poisoned his teacher, he did a pak sao, tan sao, and than cup sao(low ling block) to the chef's 3 punches and than followed with a hook kick to the ribs and than spinning kick. That can be done in real time. I've tested that out and you can actually do those techniques in those sequences if you know what you're doing. So Bruce Lee was the most realistic movie fighter of all time. I'd have to say it's a toss up between Bruce Lee and Steven Seagal when you're talking about realistic techniques!! Michael Jai White also does a lot of realistic fighting. I love his blood n bones because most of that was realistic fighting in that movie. Jet Li does realistic fighting too but not all, sometimes he uses wire when Jet Li doesn't need it when he's physically gifted!! The top Jet Li movies where he's doing realistic fighting is The Master, Lethal Weapon 4, Kiss of the Dragon, Unleashed, Dragon fight, Born to Defense. Those are my top Jet Li movies where he did realistic fight scenes.

    22:15 what is an underground fight? I prefer enter the dragons secret tournament, or bloodsports secret tournament. BloodSport and The Quest seem to take from Enter the dragon and game of death’s idea of different styles being put up against each other and ufc Underground fights sound like fight club’s fights.
    22:25 that looks like the homeboy Choriceo from back in the day. Honestly that guy is a great actor because he played that so well. I haven’t seen Michael Jai White as a great actor I don’t think he’ll be winning in the academy award or any award for acting.
    23:48 more like enter the black fire sheep. Michael Jai was born in the year of the fire sheep in 1967. My brother Tomahawk was born in 1988 the year of the dragon so the name Tomahawk is associated with the dragon. I myself am the serpent born in 1989. I am the brother of the dragon.

    There is really no best martial artist in Hollywood at the moment. Scott Adkins & Michael Jai White, as good as they are, they don't have the same appeal as Bruce Lee, Jet Li or Van Damme had.
    It's been hardly a week & I already can't recall if it was in the "A Warrior's Journey" documentary, but it was that one or another one on my Enter The Dragon dvd... One of his friends or students said by the time Bruce went off to Hong Kong he had abandoned the idea of styles altogether, including Jeet Kune Do.
