Hey Noah, while our stories are different, I grew up as a bisexual mormon and many of our feelings of guilt and self-hatred align. Some of those low feelings ran really deep especially from what I'd hear family say about other queer people. Having to accept yourself in that religion is very tough because you have to accept being celibate, or maybe never marrying someone you loved. I got lucky and I fell in love with a man which saved me a lot of judgement from my family. Ultimately I had to separate myself from that religion because it was far too damaging for me. I like boys and girls and it's not a sin. It just is who I am. I hope the future holds great things for you! I hope coming out brings joy and peace 🏳️🌈
