We all have a purpose for being here. I feel mine is to travel, share my story, and create content that inspires. I hope you are ready for me to take the world.
My channel is how I express my story. It features my coming out and how I accepted the label Mormon and Gay. It also features my 4,000-mile-long National Park Roadtrip Series.
Coming out gave me the confidence to do things like my National Park Road trip. Not every turn in my journey has been a success. There were plenty of bumps along the way, but I am learning how to overcome self-doubt and insecurities that were rooted in a lifetime of fear.

i will go to every national park (solo)
In this National Park Vlog, I head to three National Parks- Isle Royale National Park, Voyageurs National Park, and Theodore Roosevelt National Park... ALONE.
Why I solo travel 00:00-00:27
Isle Royale National Park 00:27-02:15
Voyageurs National Park 02:15-03:32
Theodore Roosevelt National Park 03:32-05:09
I have visited over 30 National Parks solo, but I still found some new experiences at these parks! From backpacking in Isle Royale, paddling to my campsite in Voyageurs, and seeing wild horses in Theodore Roosevelt... this solo trip has been unforgettable.
Isle Royale National Park is the least visited National Park in the lower 48 states mainly because it takes a long ferry ride or seaplane flight to reach this island on Lake Superior. On Isle Royale, you will find many people backpacking the island since that is the only way to get around the island.
Voyageurs is also a very isolated National Park in Minnesota on the border near Canada. This is a water-based park, meaning you need a watercraft to really enjoy the park. You can reach no campgrounds without paddling or taking a boat.
Theodore Roosevelt National Park is known for being the badlands that inspired Teddy Roosevelt to be a conversationalist during his time as President of the United States. There are wild bison, horses, and prairie dogs, which make visiting this park a very unique experience.

#EuropeSoloTrip Follow my journey on noahtakestheworld.com I took #EURAIL to 13 countries in Europe in a month. It was even more fast-paced and exhilarating than this video. Everyone travels for a different reason. Some to see friends. Some to make friends. Some to escape reality. Some to create a new reality. In the simplest terms, I travel to see. omg! hi kaiden’s little sister ❤️
u inspired me to squeeze in a solo joshua tree + death valley trip in a few weeks!! thank you for sharing your travels <3
this made my day :) i hope your solo trip goes well! u got this 💪
@@noahtakestheworld reporting back that it went amazingly!!!! i ended up staying in joshua tree and hiking all around there because i was so so stunned. now doing death valley for Christmas and one or two parks in between now and then. you are such an inspiration!! i was nervous getting there and felt like i could do anything after about a day :)
How to take the bus with the pass? Tap the card or?
You should be ok if you show the pass to the bus driver!
Great video 😊
My fav TH-camr!
It’s twice as expensive as taking a flight which kind of sucks but if you’re willing on spending $1000 that’s on you
If you book a seat only, it’s typically less than $250.
Booyah 👊🏽 😁 👍🏽 🇺🇸
never thought you’d post again 🥲
Literally amazing 🤩
thank you 🙏🙏
Beautiful! ❤
Awesome video, thank you 💙
You’re welcome!!
I took the Intercity 125 across America back in the late '80s when it was fairly common and it was an amazing experience.
I think the only thing that keeps me from doing this is the cost comparison of this with an airline. They can be roughly the same cost but an airplane takes significantly less time
I know. It can be really hard to justify. You do also get two free checked bags on Amtrak- which can save you some money. But is it worth it??
Reading this it really does seem like a car would be the most brilliant thing…you can stop wherever for views, fresh air, whatever…I wish I had had any reason to have flown during the height of covid. Fly across the world and back for $50 and have the whole bloody plane to myself.
trains are the shit. sneak on some alcohol and make friends. I always have a blast on the starlight
Forget about Amtrak I love your energy dude so calming
thank you ☺️
after i graduated high school, my dad took me on a trip via Amtrak from our state to California to see the redwoods. while i don’t remember how long the trip was, we left in the very early morning and got a sleeper car, i do remember us hanging out together while we waited to arrive, watching movies, eating in the dining car, and just talking as the scenery went by. that trip is one of my happiest memories with him.
i love this so much.
Took a 9 hour train ride once. Probably the single most unpleasant traveling experience I've had. I enjoy driving much more; being in control, being able to stop wherever, being in a familiar environment, not feeling stuck in the seat. Trains are cool and I'm down with trains, trams, and all that being more available because economically it makes more sense in almost every way, but I'd take a 12 hour drive over an 8 hour train ride every time. Plus it would likely only be a 10 hour drive anyway...
I am assuming the cost is a huge difference. I shattered my leg waaaaay like almost a year ago now and I miss driving so much. It was everything to me. Since I went to college in 2010 I’ve road tripped at least a couple times a month often twice a week through Appalachia. My favorite few states especially. And elsewhere, but sometimes you just love to explore more and more of what you love the most, y’know? Gas prices, man. I have to spend too much on Uber rides now and I tip very well, but I can’t imagine driving a lot out in CA. I’m in NC.
F#maj a little harsh but better then English lol
I honestly can't hear you. But the music you played gave me the strength I needed. See you tomorrow :-)
Which country?
USA
*Thinking about it? Do it!*
I took the train from Boston to Chicago and then to Houston. It was a great experience, although it took around 52 hours. I took a pillow, blanket, and eye mask, and it helped a LOT to get some sleep in those chairs. They keep some lights on all the time so an eye mask is a must. I had a little Ziploc bag with toiletries so I could refresh myself every morning and on rest stops. It was really cool, like a camping trip. But on the train from Chicago to Houston, the bathrooms were NASTY. I was relieved to be off the train and be still for a while and change my clothes when I arrived in Houston. I also traveled at the end of the pandemic, so we had to wear masks ALL the time, and that was really hard. Everyone cheated of course, especially while sleeping, and only put it on when the conductors came around to check. Some conductors were really power tripping about that. I recommend the blog seat66.com for helpful train tips as well! I saw beautiful cities I'd never see from a plane and met great people and tried new foods. It was a great experience, but you need to be prepared for the downsides. I'm looking forward to seeing more of your travels. ❤
Took Amtrak from Seattle to Savannah. 4 days. It was rad.
Oh my gosh the views are so good 😍
What the heck, pay for the Sleeping car and be comfortable
the sleeping car can be over $500… not very economical for me
I’ve done this trip before. It’s amazing! So much beautiful land to see. The California Zephyr through the Sierra Nevada mountains was a highlight for me.
Stunning views!
Hey, I lived in Joetsu for around 6 months and I would love to be back there again. It's honestly not bad. I love the quiet and peach and the food is great. There's also an Anytime Fitness gym there so everything you need is already there.
Thanks for all the info! Yeah, it’s a super cute area. I enjoyed my little trip there!! Thanks for watching.
