It was July 27th 1996 and a sell-out crowd in excess of 70,000 welcomed Bryan Adams to Wembley Stadium on his “18 ‘Til I Die Tour” in support of the multi-platinum album of the same name. “18 ‘Til I Die” had been released a few weeks earlier and hit the No.1 spot on the UK Albums Chart and gone Top 5 right around Europe. The show opened with the album’s first hit single “The Only Thing That Looks Good On Me Is You” and straight away the stage was set for an energetic, hit packed performance which was received with wild enthusiasm by the huge crowd. This is a legendary show for Bryan Adams fans and is now finally being released on ALL FORMATS for the first time.

The way the audience took over the first part. Literal chills!
His genuine surprise is amazing.

Was the best part. His surprise and joy made it great.

In the golden era of the 80s and 90s, where fans went to concert to watch and enjoy their idol's music and songs...
No mobile phones etc...
Really missed these era.. ❤❤
It’s 2024 and this still gives me goosebumps every time! Long may it continue!

Anyone else born in the 80s raised I the 90s tear up realising nothing will ever come close to enjoying a concert like this during these times... no phones....just pure memories....thank you Brian..
Now adays you can capture your memories in your fone, I don't find that stupid
1970, amazing song
A few days ago, something funny happened. I'm 45 and have a 12-year-old son. He was listening to this song in another video, and I told him, "Nice choice, son." He turned to me, surprised, and asked, "This is so good, do you know who Bryan Adams is?" My response, "Are you kidding me?" Here's to the enduring power of amazing music.
If you're watching this in 2024, I LOVE YOU. You are not alone
Yeahh brother, still for this song
I feel alone and it's only me so I am alone.
I believe that somewhere in the world, there are people who feel the same emotions that I feel when I listen to masterpieces like this song.
No cameras , No cellphones just a pure moment.
Ok boomer
Or maybe because there weren’t cellphones that could record or take pictures back in 1996?
@@vinnyvidivici Bootlegs, baby!
Very true ,just that love and peace in taht crowd
Whats wrong with cellphones and cameras? How ironic, you are watching a video,,, recorded by the very same thing tech you are criticising,,,,
How hypocrite of you. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I was there, I was 12 years old. It was the first concert I had ever been to. The day was Saturday 27th July 1996 but to me it still feels like yesterday
Can't even imagine how the feeling and vibe must have been

Sorry about your Dad. Lost mine in '81.
This song is on my playlist, too. For my wife and best friend ever when I pass. My daughter is working on it with me. Lol.
It's 2024 and I'm 47 years old, I remember this song when I was in 4th grade. Life's short, always take ur time n open ur eyes
Pienso lo mismo,
I'm 47 too and life goes by so fast.
So perfectly said my friend 😊
That’s a thought that has hit me like a freight train in my early 30’s. It took having a son to realize just how short all of this is. I’ve start to look at the length of a decade as if it is only a year. Time is our greatest nemesis and it seems as though it is unbeatable

That was the best first verse ever. No one can top that. Love it when fans sing along
In June 1992, i was at my first Bryan Adams concert in Denmark. I was 12 years old.
I noticed a small round scene in the middle of the audience. So i stod there with my mother. And sure enough Bryan and the band turned up there. I was in the front and he started to invite people on the stage to dance. He pointed at me to come up but i was just a kid and to scared to do it. I will always regret that.
His music has now been a part of my life for more than 30 years.
I am still and always will be a fan❤.

Who will turn your world around
Bring you up when you're feelin' down
Yeah, nothin' could change what you mean to me
Oh, there's lots that I could say
But just hold me now

Daniel Jaén hey are you one of those singing in the audience???
I was born in 00’ but I’ve felt several times I was born in the wrong era.
What a years those have been…good music, no phones, people felt connected for real and enjoying everything.
When the crowd starts singing, when Bryan Adams was about to start, that was awesome, and they continued singing, and Bryan Adams just enjoyed to hear them sing❤
Just hands in the air. No phones. What an amazing concert this is
Haha good point. Audiences are so disconnected from what's happening in the moment these days.
I don't think that's a fair assessment. Now I'm all for nostalgia being a 90's kid myself but technology has evolved and our phones allow us to capture moments and videos in time we find significant.I bet you if technology had been around during this time you would see phones recording artist all the time.
That's also a good point, but concert videos specifically are generally horrible as phones can't record the sound properly, and video is all shakey or pointless.
I'm just saying based on my preference :)
What? Life happens beyond my smartphone?
I can only imagine how good the feeling of proudness must be if you stand infront of this crowd and listen to all these fans singing your song :)
It must be every artists dream
Yes very beautiful song
Yeah, wish i could be in a concert like this someday 😃
WOULD BE GREAT AND AMAZING
You realize the fans singing was a prerecording. Right? In 2007, Bryan participated in a festival. The audio man played only the first line to an unsuspecting Bryan. The music took a pause. Festival goers started busting out laughing. Even Bryan paused to give perks to the audio man.
This song was written about my life. I met the most beautiful and amazing woman 40 years ago at the lowest point of my life. I was broken. She introduced me to Jesus. That was a life changer. God has blessed us abundantly as He made her my wife!!!!!!
We are now closer and deeper in love than ever. We so enjoy listening to the 70s & 80s music, especially this song, when we go out crusing in the exotic speed machine I recently bought, simply because I like her.
She still looks hotter than the car, and I don't mind that kind of problem! On top of that, we have 7 adult children and our 5 grandchildren.
I consider myself to be the most blessed man alive!!!!!

Sensational, Incredibly Emotive, Absolutely Epic
A lot of music from the 80s has aged incredibly well, and this song is a standout example of that. When this concert took place, the song was already over a decade old, yet it still sounded flawless. Bryan's aged well, too- just look him up. I'm finding it hard to believe he's gonna be 65 this year.

Musicians had talent back then. Not autotune. Today anyone can be a "star". They rarely deserve it. That's why this song will be remembered forever and most of todays music will be forgotten in a year.
@@187manowar When the youth of today grow older they'll look back on the songs from when they were young and love them, just like we do with ours. Look at 0:27 he’s completely stunned by what he’s just hearing. Ps: I’m a musician as well.
