Needless to say - she eventually knew everything I did was for her and I would do anything for her. We have now been married 36 wonderful years - and she is still as beautiful as the day we met.
When I hear this song it brings tears to my eyes. My husband used to play it for me whenever he wanted to let me know how much he loved me. He passed away 7 years ago after 38 years of marriage. I have nothing but beautiful memories of him and I slow dancing in the Kitchen holding each other tight and looking into each other's eyes and him singing to the lyrics to me. Bryan is the supreme example of the simple man.Music when it's performed live as Bryan does takes on a new dimension.The video is as important as the audio In a lot of the "old"music little emphasis was placed on the visual part of the song.In modern music the videos are wonderful and I feel that the audio is often lost in the process.Words are hard to make out.I would never say the old music was better I'm just waiting for the pendulum to find a better balance between audio and video

This song transports me back in time. I liked you in the 80s but this song was IT for me. I was so proud that THE song of the moment was by a Canadian, and a cute one at that. This may have started a slight obsession 😄 every book,cd, television show I could get my hands on I would. Listened to your music 24/7! So I did what any logical 15 yr old with a slight 😄 celebrity crush would do. I hopped on a train and met up with my best friend in Toronto, and went to your concert. Two teenage girls gushing at that ridiculously talented and cute Canadian boy up on that stage, having the time of our lives! It was the first time I did anything independently without my parents and what a feeling it was! So yes. This song. ❤ This songs brings me all the feels, in more ways than one!
