here in the Philippines, the Ford Everest is the 3rd Best Selling SUV behind the Toyota Fortuner & Mitsubishi Montero Sport, but I still bought a brand new Everest last month despite some rumors that there will be a new-facelifted design of the Everest will be coming out next year or in 2023. I still love the elegance and shape of the current-gen. Everest. 🙂
At 10:04 you are mentioning about a deleted feature. That 230V AC plug is no more offered for Everest 2021.75 models. As per dealer, ford decided to delete the plug due to some safety issues identified by government agencies. Also the Air Condition in Everest only give the cold option in second and third rows seats. There is no hot air blowers for second and third rows which a terrible and uncomfortable for second and third row passengers during cold weather. Some dumb ford designers in who lived in hot or humid conditions decided to delete the hot air blower lines or pipes to vents as a cost savings.
Local engineering makes chassis work on our roads - wish we were getting the Bronco as well and Bronco Sport which possibly has more showroom appeal than the Escape - great review Alex 👍
I am looking at the new Everestt that will be coming out later this year. How does the Ford compare to Prado in terms of quality and reliability? Currently I am hessitating between the two but don't have experience in Ford whatsoever. Seems like the opinions on the quality of Ford is pretty split.
Any used car reviews are rendered useless unless they include: 1. An engineer talking about the build quality and materials 2. a mechanic taking about issues, servicing and reliability. 3. Statistics about how many were sold compared to how many are still registered would give an “indication” of longevity.
Also, dealer told me you can set how high gear selection goes. It, according to the salesman, can be set to only go 1-8 for example. Yet no reviews have mentioned that feature.
@@alexinwood2723 Omg your so lucky you got to drive a Hyundai WRC car. I want to be a writer/reviewer for the Wheels mag when I turn 20. It would be my dream. I could drive all the fancy new cars and write the reviews.
Bought this to replace my old Patrol. Big mistake. Lots of plastic. Electronics to do not work properly. Alarms cannot be switched off. (great for fellow campers when out camping!!!) Continual drain on main battery due to electronics. Lucky to get two days out of it without restarting. Spare wheel is not the same size as the four on the vehicle. Roof rails need to be replaced to carry any weight. Limited off road capability. Only really for dropping off the kids at school. Misleading marketing by Ford in my opinion. Be prepared to spend another $15K to turn it into a reasonable off roader.
You are Flogging a Dead Horse. The FORD MOTOR COMPANY still can't avoid BANKRUPTCY. Ford stock has entered a free fall, touching 11-year lows. The company reported losses in Q4 earnings and was only able to pay dividends because of its financial arm. Steeply rising auto loan delinquencies and a weak industry outlook will push Ford Motor Company into bankruptcy.

We have the Ford Ranger in the Uk... So it always puzzled me why we never got the Everest for UK as an option??
I would much rather have one of these!

The question is, has Isuzu done enough with the launch of the new MU-X???

What do you mean by leather accented? Are they not full leather?
Still a cool car. I will take it for half price, otherwise I will just wait for the new one..
Que tal la fiabilidad de esa camioneta?
Not knowing, what the new model will offer for assistant modes and connectivity (wireless CarPlay,…) doesn’t say much
if they give a very good discount or lots of freebies then maybe will consider.
It doesn't have a rpm gauge?
Have you done a MUX review to compare ?

Ford Everest is also known as the Ford Endeavour in India. Sadly Ford has decided to shut down manufacturing cars in India.
but the new facelift Everest will be introduce this March 1....
The digital part of the drivers display used to be appalling. Small fronts and poor contrast. Hope this is really an improvement
Privacy glass rear.
Then $650 extra to do the front
