Your video is so easy to follow. I love the pace. I like how you explained about the end sts for selvedage and the purpose of the first two rows. Now I’m your follower.

I have spent hours trying to knit 2 color brioche, watched several videos and used a written pattern, and this video is what finally helped me get it. Thank you so much, your explanation was amazing!!

Thank you so much. Your videos make brioche seem so easy. Will be trying here again soon and then to the shrug.

Is it really necessary to bring the yarn forward when doing the yarn over brioche stitch? I keep it to the back and put the needle under the working yarn and put the stitch off in one motion. I seem to be getting the same result and it’s much easier than move the yarn forward each time.

Technically, the yarn has to be in front of the right-hand needle before slipping the stitch for the sl1yo. It doesn’t make a difference to the result if you bring the yarn forward with the tensioning finger or the needle, so go with whichever feels more comfortable and natural for you, or whichever you prefer. One of my favorite things in knitting is that each knitter has her/his own style and there are no two people knitting exactly alike. Fascinating!
