Currently struggling with this one :,) Watching videos like this helps me understand what a piece is supposed to sound like and look at other musicians' point of view... Hope I'll pass my exams! 👍
Very professional. Absolutely beautiful! My 9 yrs old boy is learning RCM Gr9 pieces. He loves to watch Barenboim performances very much. Thanks for sharing.
Not at all! Chopin's etude is based on this part. I'm actually learning the etude and came here from Josh Wright's tutorial as he mentioned the reference!
I’m currently playing this piece and I can say that it’s easy to play when slow, however the precision and interpretation is fairly difficult at this speed
I am playing this piece on July 2nd and if you search the name Andy Wang I will be 5th. I feel like this piece is so well composed but somebody else is playing the exact same song as me out of 5 people😂😂😂😂 edit: the competition I’m in is the bccm music festival
Beethoven had such a big heart. One knows that when listening to the slow movements of his works, such as this one. Simply beautiful.
I found this piece's sheet music in my grandma's piano stuff and decided to give it a listen.
Your grandma is a virtuoso pianist.
Trevs This piece is not thaaaaat difficult, but it's beautiful :)
@@3munequitas To play it right it is.
@@3munequitas its simple but it gotta be really fast and good technique... i suffer the this song cuz its too fast
My teacher is like SLOW DOWWNNNN PLEASSSE YOUR KILLING ME😂
I was wondering who could possibly dislike this??? The greatest Beethoven performer nowadays
Only one is better than Barenboim, it't Barenboim. The golden age of Beethoven sonates.
i think Barenboim is the only person in the world who has done the full set of 32 sonatas twice. This recording when he was younger is better
nice to listen to Presto alla tedesca on his birthday. Love this work.
The articulation, dynamics and phrasing are perfect, I love this rendition!
So beautiful 😍 Beethoven sonata must go with Barenboim
Absolutely superb! So much expression! Bravo.

Absolutely sublime interpretation of the 2nd movement, I prefer this one over the other Barenboim on youtube
@Jože Ws i think he meant the newer performance by Barenboim

WOW!!! 😯 This is the best from all the other videos! 👍🏻🙂
Definitely going to try to perform this marvelous work! As soon as I master both 19 & 20. I hope it will happen before 2022!
Barenboim 41 years old . Also very well recorded !

Very Good
This is one of beethoven's only chill pieces XD
Is it just me that the beginning of the 3rd movement sounds like Chopin’s etude op 25 No.9? 6:28

How does he use pedal without making it muddy. I’m really struggling with it
Anyone else hear chopin op 25 no 9 in the beginning of movement 3?

Hi
Energetic but totally lacking in charm or infectious gaiety.
Bad
