xellossaxon (this is coming from an agnostic atheist) you are wrong though the meaning of the game is that not all problems can be solved by a bullet, religion is a way of teaching that, and this game uses it as a symbol of the consequences, or gods judgment. There is also no proof of your claim, your anger is the only thing driving you to say that, because you believe everyone else is ignorant and you have to save them, but frankly your the one who probably needs saving.
@@liammccoy2208 In fairness, the message you just described was definitely in the game but it was badly undermined by all those scenes showing the cult as cartoonishly evil cannibals who used people they tortured to death to mark their territory. I really liked the anti-violence message buried in the game (this coming from a theistic pacifist) but there was so much shallow, simplistic, pro-violence trash on top of it that a person could easily miss it altogether.
"Your friends have been taken and tortured and its your fault Countless people have been killed, it is your fault. The world is on fire and it is your fault."
The writing for this scene was amazing, after so many hours, liberating outposts, watching his eulogies, learning his backstory, this last monologue with the song growing louder in the back REALLY drew me in, truly one of the best written scenes in gaming all leading up to your decision.
Actually I think, this is a best far cry. There's hidden massage to our world. Like "Not all the problems can be solved with a bullet". This in game world on the stage of "World War III". The whole game like massage from ubisoft, like "STOP BLAMING OTHER PEOPLE!", "DON'T START A WAR!", "LIVE IN PEACE!". This soundtrack, words and etc. That's why I love ubisoft!
The ending is good but the story leading up to that was terrible... so terrible in fact that the ending doesn't fit the game that came before it. I really wish the rest of the game had been worthy of this ending. This ending would have been a great ending to a great game but it didn't make sense when attached to the ridiculous trash that comprised the rest of the game.
@@Eggnog88 there’s a difference between not having a happy ending and having a bad ending. The game ended perfectly in order to start the sequel new dawn
He once was a peach picker He reaped the orchard His hands were hard and calloused He served so many non-believers, until he heard the voice Now he's our shepherd Now he's our captain Now he's our keeper Now he's our father He's gonna lead us down that path
Both ending are bad because for the nuclear ending if you continue to solve your problems with violence then the cycle continues but for the walk away ending you choose not to fight and go in peace but the damage you inflicted before that cannot be don’t resulting into the song playing and your kill everything trigger going off. Overall your problems can never be solved with violence, it only repeats the cycle and punishes you. Far Cry 5 was taking this seriously and taught us that moral
For some reason this melody make me feel something cool... This melody make me think in my life, when i was just a child and what i've become with 17 years... I cried, but this game is fkin awesome, thanks for the song, i was searching for it xD
I don't do that, but I cried for this for a different reason. These poor people, the Eden's Gate folks... they were broken by the world, and that made them susceptible to a man like Joseph Seed, and the broken parts of us make us ready to hear what he has to say too. Worse yet, The Father was all they had, partly because he had orchestrated it to be so, but also because so much of the rest of the world had turned its back on these poor people. He's their Father, the only Father many of them have ever known, in a world where fathers are all too often absent from young people's lives.
i cried lisening to this too and because i was was so lost on one of the most saddest memories i have ever had. but the momory , i was so fond of it that i made the game play that music for nearly an hour. i hope someday i will get over it.
The part around 1:30 is what gets me every time I watch this. It's just such an amazingly appropriate soundtrack for that moment in this game. That soundtrack of this game is mainly what makes it one of my favorite games of all time. The endings just give me chills.
I walked away because seeing that look on his faith and hearing this music after just going through the tragic tale of Faith made me regret my actions. And its much better than nuclear war.
Nuclear war will happen no matter what. Only difference is that if you walk away, Joseph and few of his followers will survive. Everyone else will die, due you destroying 3 big shelters for thousands of people. This game only has bad endings, and i like it. Finally game that has balls to do something like that.

he is right he has faith and peace and a cause that belives in freedom he not crazy everyone else is crazy he built a resistance,a place to be actually free against the nonbelievers and people say he's the bad guy but he only kills those who resist what is clearly right praise the father I wish more people had faith
-...Оставь мою паству, и иди с миром... - Иди с миром? Да ты ненормальный! - Разве? Нас вообще здесь не должно было быть! - Ты сам знаешь, что делать. - И помни... Господь следит...
incredible music and even if i am spoiled for the endings it still makes me want to play this game. After all both endings i think it is the father that wins and one way or another you finish working for him. Maybe just in the ending were you resist you earn his respect as he makes you his right hand or so
Man I wish they made this game longer. It just felt to short, and I loved everything about it, the music, action and endings. And withing an hour all gone
Joseph seed was right, the world was on a brink and he was just trying to make people see the truth that the world powers coming undone praise be to the father
Far Cry 5 had such an amazing storyline. Beautiful soundtrack which really compliments what is happening in the game. The whole 'Seed' cult was an interesting idea.
They should have a prequel, except you get to be a cult leader, and you are trying to take over Hope County, from the time Eden's Gate arrives in the valley.
I know it can be sound too much stupid, but i am not believeing in god, and no i am not either an atahist. I just dont take a port of being an atahist and a believer. After ive played this game, something in my body, in my brain turned me on. Something is just woke-up in my own body and told me "you see? When you believe in something its not you just have the power, its either you can be preauod of your self."
Joseph Seed was one hell of an interesting villain in the far cry series.
Arthur? What are you doing here.... We have a goddamn train to rob!
Dutch Van Der Linde can I join the gang with u guys
Me too
O LORDY
Joseph is like vaas
Now my child...
Take your friends... and walk away

"Your friends have been taken and tortured and its your fault
Countless people have been killed, it is your fault.
The world is on fire and it is your fault."
Was it worth it... was it?
I read that in Joseph's voice.
God is Watching us my childw
When he said about my friends being tortured and it was my fault I got hit in the feels too hard
Well yes, but actually no
Plus anyone get feels listening to this. Not heavy feels but like something.
You feel it, don't you?
Nah I got dem heavy feels. Right after he told me all my friends have been tortured
I do
I feel like I hate this man for everything he’s done, but everything he said about deputy was also true.
He saw a Whitehorse and hell followed him.
every night i can feel my leg, you feel it too, dont you? sorry just reminded me of that lol
yes
"When you first came here i gave you the choice to walk away, in the face of god i am making you that offer, one last time"
NoVa Ice you forgot "you chose not to"
Put down your guns, you take your friend´s, you leave me my flock. And you go in peace.
He really gives us a choice , play the game once more and don't handcuff him at the beginning, credits would be shown after sometime
Nice music tho
This game honestly changed my outlook on so many things
"Walls being erected, communties being torn apart for what?!Because our leaders are too impotent to act?!"

It's not. When sheriff turns on the radio it's the song that sent deputy into a killing rampage. So he killed everyone in the truck.
I agree
Ubisoft's music is so incredible, people put a lot of work into these soundtracks.
Who here else get the chills
This music is god damn emotional and it makes me drift off.

Far cry 5, the best far cry game.. This game is masterpiece and deserve a movie, im sure the movie will take oscar.
Sometimes it's best to just leave well enough alone.

SagaHub the nuclear war will happen it has nothing to do with joesph he just was right and in the walk away ending you kill you friends
SagaHub if u walked away you can go back and do the boss fight (Only if you walked away)
I know Joseph was right, but as Jacob told me, I was a tool. I had to do my job and arrest him.
