We've done plenty of high power, high displacement BMW's on the channel but it's time to show the 20d's some love with our newly developed GTD2056 Turbo Kit!

makes all the difference. Here in Portugal a BMW 430d from 2017+- pays €680 in taxes for year, plus insurance worth around €850 per year. gives a total of 1530€ year. A lot of people aren't willing to spend that much these days. I'm one of them and the 420d from the same year pays €280 in taxes. So it's good to know about these upgrades, good video !!

Almost the same engine really so I’d say the same amount.

Not something we look at really, but it tends to be the same if not improved slightly, obviously depending on driving style
Lovely car, but how long N47 timing chain last with that much power .
Shouldn’t really have an affect on it.
So I'm assuming the B47 lump, what about any of the bi-turbo setups ?, (asking for a friend 😆😂)
We're not sure if this one will fit the B47 yet. In terms of twin turbo set ups, we've not got any at the minute

yes we fitted LSD to our 125d. they need machining to do this.
Probably a stupid question but are you running a different tune for the components upgrade?

What about rod bearings? I've remapped my car and one of my rods failed and i actually need a new engine
That's an oil pump and oil quality issue.

is that 270hp true? is that in the wheel or at the crank?
Our dyno measures from the flywheel
Perhaps more responsive than a 3.0 because there’s not as much engine to move (crank, pistons etc).
What was the stock power of this car ?

They are 184hp stock but usually when they come into us they run between 170-180

My old e46 with a remap was around 200, made it so much more driveable.

How would this work with a manual 320d
Power may be a little different with the gearbox but it should be similar numbers! A little more fun as well ;)
What is needed to turn a 420d b47 into a 425d? Only a twinturbo fit? Thinking about squeeezing the max power possible into this fine engine.
Would be better off getting a bigger single turbo for them like this one. Converting to twin, you'd have to change turbos, loom, ecu and more which would cost a lot of money and time for not much difference at all

Yiu can buy a 325d/425d stage 2 +/-300hp and 560nm. Still 2.0 diesel but with two turbo's. Yes 2 turbo's, not twinscroll single turbo.

Why not just get a 430d(258hp)stock if you want power?
Not everyone has 430d money (price, insurance, tax etc) and we wanted to make something for the people that want to have fun with the 2.0L engine as well

Even better, makes similar power at less RPM. It’s what I have
Probably won't match with this kit, however our mini and 125d projects had b47 and they did 250hp and 300hp on different set ups. Full specs are here -

3.0 litre is out of budget so you throw 7k at a N47 lol

from what i have heard the 2.0 diesel is not that reliable and not one of BMW s best .aren't around 190 ish bhp standard .
These aren’t that bad the only reason you hear people say bad things about the N47 is because of the BMW service intervals which is something like 15-20k miles which is crazy, also another reason is because the amount of N47s the sold is a bonkers amount since it came with 1-2-3-4-5 series and many other ones also.

Beautiful manifold bolted to an ugly engine, shame the turbo is bottom mounted though
Why not add an intake kit for an extra 10/15hp along with that metering valve, fairly cheap for what you get go be fair.
The limiting power Faktor is not air it’s not being able to add more fuel
