Hi Jay and Amber! It's Andrew Erroch fae Paisley in Scotland here. I have to tell you, I'm jealous of you two, having such a shared passion in music and reacting to all these different songs together. You have such a strong bond and commitment that I could only dream of with my wife. She's from Thailand and we have very different views on entertainment and cultures in general. And, Jay, you are such a lucky guy to have found such a woman in Amber. Or did she find you perhaps?... She looks better every time I see her. What a pair you are, and so lucky to have each other and a family together, too. I'm so jealous. Æx 🙏
There are a lot of beautiful things in the Thai culture too. You have chosen to marry your wife. Nothing is ever perfect - that will include for J. & Amber too. Take joy in the good things that are now in your life because of your wife's culture & just having a wife period. Don't look at the negatives. There are ALWAYS negatives, but there are ALWAYS positives too. Life will be better if you focus on the positives & see their beauty. All the best from Canada.

Jon was Alley McBeal’s love interest and Robert Downey Jr was her psychiatrist (after Tracey Ullman) in Season 5. Jon was also Helen Hunt’s ex-husband in the movie Pay It Forward with Haley Joel Osmet and Kevin Spacey.
One of Bon Jovi's greatest songs features a powerful drum lead before Richie Sambora's solo, and the spoken section at the end is particularly impactful. Regarding U2, I recommend "Walk On," a very meaningful song.
I was fractionally too young to really appreciate that when it came out, but it must've gone into my subconscious because a few years later when I heard it - as I thought - properly for the 'first' time I went "Oh, it's _this_ song!". The chorus is just one of those rare things that instantly sounded like it must've been around for ever, like it could've been taken from a hit at any point in pop/rock history.
Bon Jovi was one of the monster "hair bands" of the 80's. When that era died, many bands died with it. Then, in the middle of the "grunge era", Bon Jovi put out this album, and this title track came out. Jon cut his hair, but that didn't matter as they continued to stay relevant and kept putting out songs like this one. This is another song that Desmond Child wrote with Jon and Richie that turned out to be a monster hit, and one of my favorites. Jon's vocals are always strong and they are on this song, Richie's solo is outstanding...Bon Jovi will go down as one of the best rock bands ever. I am thankful I got to see them in their prime. Great reaction!!
The term 'Hair bands' is a diss from the media, I don't know why people insist on still using it. Bon Jovi were always a Hard rock band, plain and simple
Oh boy, it DID matter that he cut his hair and ditched the hair band look. I know I would have kept on ignoring them if they hadn't. Of course the change in sound helped too. I feel like hair bands were never huge in Europe, Bon Jovi became huge here with their new look and sound. I'm sure Jon Bon Jovi would have never modelled for Versace if he'd kept his original look.
Man, I suggested this about a year ago. But, whatever. This is actually toward the end of their big years. You should give Richie Sambora's Ballad of Youth a listen.
Phantom Blue "time to run" all female hard rock band... terrific song. Nobody reacts to them, they were great. Guitarist michelle meldrum was married to Europes guitarist john norum. Sadly she passed away several years ago.
Vert underrated. Band. Thé first album is absolutly fire, the guitar duo Michelle Meldrum/Nicole Couch was magic. Gigi Hangach was a Powerhouse. Hope you do a song from them. Suggestions : why call it love, frantic zone, time to run.
Did you notice how Jon spread his arms out to both sides with his head a little bent (in the shape of a cross) just after? he sang about keeping the faith?
High school parties got better when this album dropped. Bon Jovi was our go-to band for rocking out. And then I got to see them live in 1995, still one of the best concerts I've been to!
Recently started listening to Bon Jovi again after the release of their new album. Please listen to any of these... Dry County. Bed of Roses Living proof (new) In these Arms. These Days. Lie to Me. Thank you
Great song from a great album 🤩 Take a look at the 1989 MTV VMA performance of Livin’ On a Prayer/Wanted Dead or Alive. It’s absolutely stunning and I think you’ll love the acoustic versions of the two songs. Plus, you mentioned Richie on your I’ll Be There For You reaction and the performance highlights what he can do vocally. Promise you won’t be disappointed!

I remember this song when it was in the charts here in the UK but hearing it now this sounds like a U2 song, despite it being written by Jon and Rickie. Have they done it in concert? Maybe I haven't and it just sounds similar to their song Mysterious Ways and was out at a similar time. Am I tripping or imagining this?
I really enjoy watching yourselves reacting to songs that I heard when they were originally released. I still can’t believe you haven’t been anywhere near the boys from Kentucky known as Black Stone Cherry they have an amazing back catalogue I suggest you start at the early point with the song Blind man.
Check out "Strangers" from Portishead. The live from Roseland version is the best. It will work for female Friday on top of being an all-around great song.
This is actually older Bon Jovi after they took a break to work on solo projects and the album came out on 92 right after Nirvana and Pearl Jam released grunge onto the world which is why you have the shorter haircuts and the whole vibe of the album was different than their 80's stuff. I saw them in concert at the old Giants Stadium and the version they did of this song was even better.

@@RoGueNavy love the film young guns 2 and played that album to death 🤣👍
'Someday I'll be Saturday Night' is another of theirs that's really worth checking out - I dont think you've done it, yet.
Other Bon Jovi songs to react: Dry county (live Wembley), These days (album version or live), Someday I'll be Saturday night
@@stephanebreton3708 these days is a superb album- very different to previous or since but my god some absolutely amazing tracks on that album ‘My Guitar lies Bleeding’ is one of my favourite tracks for so long!
I cant believe you havent done Wanted dead or Alive, please let that be your next Bon Jovi song
Phenomenal concert!!! Puts me right back there watching this!
Keep the Faith and Entre dos Tierras were played all the time in the early 90's...
Thanks❤❤❤ Always love Bon Jovi music... i will suggest next These days or Jon Bon Jovi "Santa Fe"
One of my favourite songs.
One of my fave song
80's and 90's definitely their best years!!! 🥰 🥰 🥰 💜
One of Bon Jovi's greatest songs features a powerful drum lead before Richie Sambora's solo, and the spoken section at the end is particularly impactful.
Regarding U2, I recommend "Walk On," a very meaningful song.
From the same album “In these arms” Is astonishing
I was fractionally too young to really appreciate that when it came out, but it must've gone into my subconscious because a few years later when I heard it - as I thought - properly for the 'first' time I went "Oh, it's _this_ song!". The chorus is just one of those rare things that instantly sounded like it must've been around for ever, like it could've been taken from a hit at any point in pop/rock history.
not just a pretty face! Great vocals!
Thanks for your reaction
Another song I think you would like is “Thank You for Loving Me “ and my favorite “Do You Want to Make a Memory”.
React to Edge of a broken heart, by these guys! Great song!
Have a look/listen for Keep The Faith live at Wembley in 1995. The whole gig was incredible, but they absolutely ripped the grass up with this one.
You guys need to listen to Dry County by Bon Jovi. A long song but brilliant and a massive guitar solo
Bon Jovi and Van Halen were the only 2 bands from that era to survive grunge!
Awesome song, their best imo.
The 2001 live version of this from their Meadowlands New Jersey show is off the charts incredible.
Man, I suggested this about a year ago. But, whatever. This is actually toward the end of their big years. You should give Richie Sambora's Ballad of Youth a listen.
Great reaction, guys!
Dry County the long version is a must. That'll change the whole perspective of what people had on Bon Jovi.
This is the thunder before the calm of their schmaltzy ballad era
That's what the US listeners liked. The UK fans were more flexible.
Every 90’s girl remembers this as ‘when JBJ cut his hair’ 🤤
Easily my favourite Bon Jovi single
High school parties got better when this album dropped. Bon Jovi was our go-to band for rocking out. And then I got to see them live in 1995, still one of the best concerts I've been to!
Was that tour when Keanu Reeves band Dogstar opened for them? I'm sure that was 95.....
@@bonecrayon I don't remember an opening act! 😅 It's been so long, the cobwebs are real!
Recently started listening to Bon Jovi again after the release of their new album.
Please listen to any of these...
Dry County.
Bed of Roses
Living proof (new)
In these Arms.
These Days.
Lie to Me.
Thank you
Great song from a great album 🤩 Take a look at the 1989 MTV VMA performance of Livin’ On a Prayer/Wanted Dead or Alive. It’s absolutely stunning and I think you’ll love the acoustic versions of the two songs. Plus, you mentioned Richie on your I’ll Be There For You reaction and the performance highlights what he can do vocally. Promise you won’t be disappointed!
By far the best tune, best album, best lyrics, best videos, best live concerts! #lottalove #livestockholm
My favorite Bon Jovi's song ever!
oh jon,, gotta love the princess diana hair era
Guys! You’ve probably already been asked this and I hope you see this, please can you react to Coldplay and fix you live at this years Glastonbury, they have a very special guest playing with them and well, it’s pretty amazing. Also, this one is fire! 🔥
I believe this video and song were in response to the LA riots that were happening back then
My wives late cousin was a big fan in the 80s. She had lots of posters but our lass thought it was just this long haired, hairy guy. She first saw this video and went HELLO. She was a fan since then and wannabe future wife of his 😂
I don't know if you've played this but Bon Jovi was featured in one of Cher's videos. He co-wrote the song We All Sleep Alone for her.
Love your videos!
Check out 'Rich Man living in a Poor Man's House,' and Their new one, 'Living Proof,' both are surpringly good.
Please check out the duet he did with Jennifer Nettles, "Who Says You Can't Go Home?".
Cool! Thanks!
