I love that we are getting these books for this. I have the one of Jason Lives, Halloween 4, and the Nightmare Series from way back when. I need to get these to go with those before they disappear like the other ones did.
Also that bit about Michael being an infection and how strong Loomis was... HAHAHA Only in this timeline. This Laurie should meet Pt 5 Loomis. Multiverse of Myers.

Mike - Do you think Halloween: Kills (2021) would’ve been longer and better if it followed the novelization beat by beat?
I would’ve have love to see Laurie hallucinating about a bunch of Michael Myers surrounding her at the hospital and more information about Dr. Sartain, Allyson Nelson, Lindsey Wallace, Tommy Doyle, Lonnie and Karen and Frank Hawkins would’ve been awesome to see on screen. The backstory on the inmate was interesting too bad we didn’t get that in the final cut.
Seeing Big John and Little John watching the original Black Christmas would’ve been cool to see. The more about Dr. Loomis and Six year old Michael Myers would’ve been interesting.

I think that line from Laurie about taking off each other’s heads was also in the movie. Great line
I wish they showed Lindsay's escape that honestly was the biggest flaw in HK for me, with this context it makes sense why she was dirty, etc.
Lol I loved Mike saying it reminded him of Predator. The last scene with the phone ringing and Laurie saying she's coming for Michael reminded me of Rambo 2 when Rambo called Murdock lol
Maybe they did film it and will use it as a flashback in Ends. I'd love to see that too.
It would be interesting if they revealed that Michael Myers killed his parents

The novelizations in this trilogy are great. I made sure I bought them to prepare for the day they go out of print and shoot up to $600 like the H78 and HII novels.
Also, wish I could make it to scare fest this year to meet you guys. I’m a relatively new fan but I’m already a huge one! Love all the WWAM content.
I got the same novel(audio version) on audible. I love how they give his(michael 's) perspective on things...
I read the book back in January I think and I do wish they kept some of these details in. It definitely fills out better. Lonnie was great. Tommy was crazy 😂 and I do like how powerful the mask becomes.

I grew up wanting novelizations for every horror movie I loved and quite literally dreamed about going to book stores full of them, so these Halloween novels warm my heart... Even if I hated Kills, the film.

I didn't really expect the window to play much of a role (if any) in Ends, but after hearing how much focus this novelization puts on it I feel like it's actually going to be pretty important. The tidbit about his parents disappearing is pretty intriguing, too, but even after hearing that I honestly doubt they will factor into the plot of this next film whatsoever.

Sounds like a good review. I would assume Tommy probably is dead. I wonder if the writer got any talking points from the writer/producers of the movie. I feel like that would solidify the writers claim in the book that Tommy is now dead. Like you said, though, it's pretty obvious.

If they recreated Laurie's hospital hallucination they should've done one of each of Michael's masks throughout the series, it would've been an awesome callback to the rest of the series

Great video buddy, thanks for sharing! Awesome Job! I remember many years ago, I was given a copy of the original Halloween novel. It's starts off, I believe, with Native Americans trying to vanquish a demon possessed person, which later possessed Michael Meyers. I have always loved that theory. If the Thorn concept had been done right, that would have been it. The cult and such.
Excited to see where they go with Halloween Ends....
sidenote: I have many books in storage and need to find that original novel, and of course, read it again....lol.

That thing about the mask makes the opening scene of 2018 make more sense to me when the “investigative journalists” are screaming at Michael that he feels the mask. Always seemed waaayyyyy too out of nowhere for me but that adds a lot of context. I don’t like it but at least it makes sense.

With the background the book touches on about the mask I wonder if that’s why Karen saw Lil Clown Mike in the window and went up there. She had the mask in her hand for a while. I don’t see how she would be able to see that image of him otherwise and the window staring was only known by the 2 cops.

Wanted to ask you a question guys, well, i really need Friday The 13th and Elm street to continue, it's been far too long. Also after watching the movie Split, i think James McAvoy should play Freddy, if not, then have Kevin Bacon play him, what do you think? I think Friday and Elm street should have their own tv series, do that 8 episode thing for 2 or 3 series and build each of them up into their own new movie trilogy, taking each series higher than the previous and then linkin the last series into the movie with bigger darker plot and again taking each movie higher than the previous and then link each of their final movies into a vs trilogy again taking each movie higher than it's previous, with final movie of the vs trilogy go out with a bang never seen before, then end it, after that let Freddy and Jason rip again for at least 5 to 6 years before creating an entire new story. Yes, that's probably a 12-15 year project but hey, why not? Anyway, what do you guys think? Really curious to know what you both think. 😉🙂 Keep up the great work. One love from London in the U.K ❤️🙂

I used to have a book Elm St 3 based on Craven screenplay. The middle is completely different and kills aren't so "fairytale" like. They are more like outside of a dream the outcome looks more Final Destination style. Example: When Philip dies is all that veins puppet but he goes outside and dies from hit by ambulance.

Great video like always. Can't wait for the video about the dialog you think will lead into Ends from the sound of it the book is substantially better than the movie and I loved Kills.
The only issue I can see is the part about Michael not having any photos especially when they show Tommy Doyle at the bar and the Tv shows both escaped patients and Tommy looks up and concerned when they show both Michael and Lance on the tv before he goes and attacks the car so there is no reason Tommy shouldn't have known what Michael Myers looks like without the mask as they show his mug shot.
What Michael saw in the window was Busta Rhymes & felt an intense rage wanting revenge
