Thank you. I was getting really frustrated for no reason. When you showed how to change the view to "outline only" you showed me what my mistake was. I was working with a letter that was uncuttable. Appreciate the video.

Path + Difference doesn't work on the new version. You ha e to use the eraser tool to cut through the letter and use the node tool to clean it up.
Did you ever do the second video about joining letters together? Is that the Ford font you used for the Taylor name sign?
So if I made a square with black stroke the machine will cut inside, and if I make another square with only black fill the machine will cut outside it. Am I correct?
What was the original font in inkscape.

I think my version of Inkscape is bad. Path and difference just don't work. I followed his instructions to the letter and the program won't do it. I've got version 1 .0.1

I am using mach3 software to control a two axis cnc machine that has one liner and one rotating axis for pipe notching and coping. The thing is i want to write an advertisement in one pipe but i don't know how in which format to export the inkscape file. I am using metric system. Thank you very much
