Keith Whitley was such a beautiful singer with a unique style voice that no one shall ever be able to compete against him, Lorrie Morgan is also a lovely singer herself, Two wonderful singers .Rip Keith forever.Elizabeth in Scotland ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I loved Keith's music so much back in the day. His songs, I'm No Stranger To The Rain and When You Say Nothing At All are beautiful. You will enjoy them.
Keith Whitley had one of the most recognizable voices in Country music. He had great success before he left us too soon. Lorrie has a lovely voice. She is still touring. Great request Nicole. What a wonderful reaction Harri.
Harry this the person that Vince Gill started writing Go Rest High On That Mountain for but couldn't finish it until Vince brother passed away. He and Keith were good friends.
Keith was something for sure, and yes i think he sounds much more seasoned vocally , i hear George Jones Phrasing and Merle Haggard/ John Anderson tones all wrapped in one, but with his own twist, GJ and MH influenced so many singer, Lorrie super clean and precise, great reaction H
Songwriters: Wilbur S. Rice / Sharon Mary Vaughn. She also wrote My Heroes Have Always Been Cowboys for Waylon. She was married to one of The Bellamy Brothers (I think Harold) later.
@chrismorgan.9153 You are totally right, Lorrie was away touring herself, when she should have been at home with her beloved husband who loved her so very much indeed. Pity Lorrie Morgan had different ways to live and get away from Keith. She should have been there to take care of her husband Keith, she then would have had time to call for the emergency services to come and pick Keith up and maybe saved his life, but no as l said Lorrie was a good time girl and a run around. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😷😷😷😷😷😷😷😷😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
This song always chokes me up. I love his voice. He was scheduled to perform at the rodeo in Jasper, Tx near where i live less than a week lafter he died. The organizers scrambled to find a replacement & booked a locally popular Houston singer which was Clint Black. His career skyrocketed after that. That was a great little rodeo but like many good things it's gone with the wind haha. Clint had some good songs but he was no Keith Whitley.
The two of them were married and I wouldn't be surprised if Keith wrote the song, it sounds like something he would write. He died in his 30s. Lorrie is considered one of the queens of country music.
Harri, love to see your appreciation for country music, however, it may be time to pivot back for a bit rocking blues. Try this on for size: Bruce Springsteen - The Fever (studio outtake - 1973) found at th-cam.com/video/NXPDwAYdCsg/w-d-xo.html
Lorrie Morgan and Keith Whitley were married until Keith died in 1989. She is still very much in love with him. He was only 34 years old. He died from alcohol poison. He has a smooth and relaxing voice. He was very talented.
Nicole, this was a wonderful request. I was only vaguely familiar with Lorrie Morgan and not familiar at all with Keith Whitley. After hearing this, I will pay more attention to both😁
@Nicole _Jewell.The song was lovely from Keith Whitley, but Lorrie was a dirty little bitch, who only had time for herself and her own career, l have read so very much indeed about Lorrie Morgan. Not bad she has been married now 5 times. She did not spend to much time mourning her late great husband Keith Whitley. Sorry no time for Lorrie Morgan.! A dirty rascal. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
a beautiful song rip mr whitley
my very favorite song of Keiths

It's so cool to see Harri appreciate pure unadulterated country music. Like a true music fan, he listens to it all.
I loved Keith's music so much back in the day. His songs, I'm No Stranger To The Rain and When You Say Nothing At All are beautiful. You will enjoy them.
one of the greatest voices in country music lost to alcohol at such a young age unfortunately

Thank you
Keith was just a country boy like most of us in the south only he had a gift from God in his music. RIP my brother!
You should check out his song Tell Lorrie I love Her. It is a sad one. I believe its the last thing he recorded before passing away.
Such a beautiful song indeed.
If you closely to Tell Lorrie I love her you can hear a tv in the background cause their daughter was watching while Keith recorded it.
You help me appreciate songs I would otherwise overlook. Thank you
Thank you for the reaction, which was great, but also for having such a wonderful soul.
So True! ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Keith is going into the Country Music Hall of Fame this year.
When I saw that all I could think was it is about time!
Long overdue
Homecoming 63 is another great song they done together.
Love both of them. They had a son together who looks just like his dad.He sings also
He does a great job on his dads songs.

So much to live for. RIP.

WHEN YOU SAY NOTHIN AT ALL...
HAVEN'T HEARD IN YEARS. I HOPE WE CAN HEAR IT. THANK you.
He's done when you say nothing at all by Keith it was the first Keith Whitley song I gave him.
Songwriters: Wilbur S. Rice / Sharon Mary Vaughn. She also wrote My Heroes Have Always Been Cowboys for Waylon. She was married to one of The Bellamy Brothers (I think Harold) later.
This song was not recorded as a duet. Lorrie's parts were dubbed in after Keith's death. Makes it a little more bittersweet, right?

There’s a really dark song, it’s a demo of his, that never got released. Id love to see you react. It’s called I Never Forget a Face- Keith Whitley.
👍👍👍
i think if Keith had lived he and Lorrie would STILL be together. They were each other's one and done

I lived in Nashville as a kid. I was fortunate to meet them in 1982. As well a lot of the singers of that time.
I heard recently that Jason Aldean has 3 names tattooed on him. Keith, George Jones & Strait.
you gotta react to the last goodbye by poco one of the best songs ever one if my favorites
I love Lorrie Morgan's single "Good As I Was To You".
Pretty sure Keith wrote this one too.
Keith started in the business as a young teen. Exposed to adult temptations too young. The alcohol addiction killed him.
They remind me more of George Jones & Tammy Wynette.

They were married for about 3 years.

If you would like to hear another deep voice that doesn't match the face check out Jason Michael Carroll,, Allysa Lies, also have tissues handy.
The wpman wa Lorroe M0rrgan, his wife;
Keith was an alcoholic…he would drink Lori’s perfume and the hand sanitizer in his hospital room 😢
they are husband and wife
Too much cocaine & alcohol. Died from alcohol poisoning.
he committed suicide
I saw Lorries dad in an IGA parking lot on a flat bed truck. Candy Kisses
