My favorite song of hers is Something in Red!!! Listen to Keith Whitley’s (Lorrie’s husband) Tell Lorrie I love her….it’s about her. RIP KEITH!!!! Gone too soon!! Their son has a wonderful version of tell Lorrie I love her (Jesse Whitley)
Some of us never get over it Sebs even after 26 years I've never been able to move on to even try to find someone else. All I have left of our relationship is our two amazing sons that we had together. We divorced in 1998 and my ex-husband passed away in 2010. I met him at age 14 & married him at age 18. He moved on with two different women after me, but I never could. Marriage to me was supposed to be forever. Keith Whitley & Lorrie Morgan were a super couple and country music royalty. I love both of their music.
Something in Red is a great song. After her husband, Keith Whitley passed away she married Sammy Kershaw (another Country artist. She had often said Keith Whitley was the love of her life ❤ Five More Minutes is another great song by her!! I love Lorrie and her music 😊
Lorrie has such a beautiful voice. She was married to another country singer Keith Whitley. Sadly, he passed away. Check other good songs by Lorrie, "Something in Red" is a beautiful song. Also check out "If You Came Back from Heaven" a beautiful song dedicated to her late husband Keith Whitley. Another good song of hers is more upbeat called "Watch Me."
Yes she was married to Keith Whitley and yes that's one country music singer that's absolutely one of the best that's ever been and I live in Harlan County Kentucky and Keith was a Bluegrass Boy and I'm proud to know he represented this state with his golden voice. Don't close your eyes is the best song Keith ever recorded.
She has many great songs. One of my favorites is Something in Red. But I cant help but cry with the song she sang after Keith Whitley died, called If you came back from heaven.
I love Lorrie Morgan's voice. So talented and chose amazing songs. Her bio says she's been married 6 times. I wonder at what point should she start to think, "Uh, maybe it's me?"
Yes I've been listening to a recent she first came out, have her CDs. She has such emotion when she sings and she speaks such truth through her words. I would say she's a very passionate singer.❤
I love country music and this is one of my favorite ballads. She never quite obtained the level of Reba and other iconic singers but this is an amazing song with a great video.
In your wanderings through the country music recordings, have you come across "Life's a Dance" yet? If not, I think you'd really enjoy it. It gives good life advice. And it's an upbeat happy song. Also, I highly recommend Something in Red but if you prefer to hear it from the song writer, Angela Kaset is the one who wrote it. My favorite version by Angela can be found on Live from the Bluebird Cafe #108 (writers in the round).
Another Country artist from the 90's you should check out is Collin Raye. Not That Different is one of his great songs. Love Me was his biggest hit, I believe. Written by Skip Ewing, who was one of the best in Nashville during the 90's.
Lorrie Morgan was married to Keith Whitley, until his untimely death from alcohol poisoning. Keith's death left her a single Mom of their only song, who is also an Country artist. If you'd like to hear Lorrie and Keith sing together listen to their song "Til a Tear Becomes a Rose". Lorrie struggled with her husband's death but continued to be an amazing Country singer. I always thought that Lorrie Morgan sounded a lot like Reba McEntire and have trouble telling then apart when I just hear the voices.
For another 90s country artist. The band Sawyer Brown has a lot of great songs. For a great message and storytelling, start with "They Don't Understand." They also have some fun songs: "Six Days on the Road," "The Race is On," "Some Girls Do."
Daughter of George Morgan, a Country hall of famer. Married to Keith Whitley, great singer. And mother of Jesse, who she raised alone. She debuted on the Grand Ole Opry at 13.
She has a great catalog. You should listen to Something in Red, Five Minutes, Except for Monday...there are many great Lorrie Morgan songs. Thanks for the reaction. I haven't heard this song in years!!
My second husband of 10 years, woke up on Thanksgiving and told me he didn’t want to be married anymore, that there was so many women out there and didn’t I see how they looked at him, we separated on Christmas and divorced on Valentine’s Day. He married a woman who looked like his mom. He wanted to date me again, but I sang this song to him. Bye bye I said.
Lorrie is the widow of Keith Whitley, who passed away in 1989. She has one of the best voices in country music. Something in Red is a great song of hers you should check out.
Laurie Morgan is one of the most classic women in country music. She was married to Keith Whitley. She’s his widow he died in a plane crash. She was married to Sammy Kershaw for a while actually, she dated Troy Aikman. I think her best song is something in red but if you want to hear a Love Song about her listen to Keith Whitley tell Lori I love her

This was my anthem when I caught my ex cheating. We had been together 13 years. For a lot of that time he was in school getting his bachelors degree and then his Masters degree while I worked and supported us. He got a new car every other year and I bought two houses because it was what he wanted. After he got his Masters degree he decided he could also have a girlfriend. Needless to say that was the end. I live in another city now and don’t even have to think about him. My brother stills see him now and then and just chuckles to himself. Now he drives an old beater and doesn’t live in a fancy house anymore. Every time I hear this song I think about how good he had it and never appreciated the life he had.
Off topic but what kind of cup are you drinking out of and is it just water or a healthy drink? I know you hit the gym as well. Great reaction video! I love Lorrie Morgan, this song is one of her many greats!
Sebs, what the heck are you drinking?! It looks like chimichurri sauce lol. But anyway, love your channel and love Lorrie Morgan. Keep up the great work.
Btw, Dolf Lungren's Ivan Drago's wife was Brigette Niesen, and she was Sylvester Stallone's wife in real life during Rocky IV. (Seb brought her up, & with a question, so I'm jus' sayin' is all . . . ;) 🍿🎥
I lived this song, married 17 years with a son and he had an affair and just left...I literally almost died. He walked away from a woman that would've died for him and to this day he's not happy. But I remarried and went on to be very happy.
Don schlitz is an awesome songwriter. You should Google him and view some of his songs. He was a popular songwriter and many popular country artists recorded his songs.
I haven't heard this song in many years. I hit the radio the same week that I found out that my husband was cheating and wanted a divorce. This song was my anthem for a while.
This was my divorce song. I literally walked in on my husband with another woman in a restaurant right before this song came out. I’ve seen Lorrie Morgan in concert. She was awes.
So sad she tried to help her husband Keith Whitley with his alcoholism but the pull of the whiskey bottle finally killed him with alcohol poisoning. Not sure if she ever remarried. she was definitely madly in love with him and stood by him to the end. Keith and Lorrie both wrote songs however Keith was a master at it besides being a helluva singer. So sad he passed at such an early age.
That one makes me choke up
Also love the duet they do Till Each Tear Becomes a Rose. The best of both.
Absolutely
You Must listen to Something in Red. Her voice is fantastic in that song. I've seen her around 6 times in concert and she puts on a phenomenal show !

There were a couple of marriages between Keith and Sammy, including singer Jon Randall.
“Tell Lorrie I love her” Keith Whitley. Sang to her. Recorded in his bathroom. He passed due to alcohol abuse.

the first time I saw Lorrie Morgan it was on TH-cam video, with Beach Boys, doing "Don't Worry Baby"...it was awesome!
Yes, I also love this song 🎶
The official video Something In Red is absolutely fantastic.
90e country music was on a whole new level
That’s awesome, that was my reaction the first time seeing her. She does look like the Russian girl… lmao!!!
I guess you really had to be there! Is a beautiful song..
I forgot all about her. Always liked her voice & songs. Very pretty too.

One of my favorite songs!! ❤
This song can help people heal from that type of pain. Unfortunately my ex husband cheated on me with multiple women. I know the pain.
My second husband of 10 years, woke up on Thanksgiving and told me he didn’t want to be married anymore, that there was so many women out there and didn’t I see how they looked at him, we separated on Christmas and divorced on Valentine’s Day. Check out Walk Away....
"I guess you had to be there" is another great one by her on that theme.
Always have loved this song...
One if the best singers in country music, male or female! You love songs that tell a story so I highly recommend her song Something In Red!
I thought she was so talented and beautiful
She still is
Lorrie is the widow of Keith Whitley, who passed away in 1989. She has one of the best voices in country music. Something in Red is a great song of hers you should check out.
One of my favorite songs of her is Dear Me. Beautiful song that came out after Keith Whitley's death.

Actually, he drank himself to death. Unfortunately, he had way too much alcohol in his blood. He was truly a great singer/songwriter.
I stand corrected. Keith Whitley died from alcohol poisoning. could’ve swore was a plane crash but so many have gone that way too.
Many amazing songs.

She has many wonderful songs, mentioned below. But my favorite of hers is "Except for Monday." Keep checking Lorrie, Sebs. She's very versatile!
Lorrie Morgan and Sammy Kershaw "Maybe Not Tonight" is an incredible duet! I really think you'll enjoy it, maybe with your wife
She had a song that was dedicated to her husband Kieth Whitley. Dear Me, it was as emotional as you can get.

Something In Red is my favorite song by Lorrie. Picture of Me Without You is a close second.
Yes, always liked her. Love, love, love her singing " A picture of me without you" dedicated to her late husband, the great Keith Whitley
I liked her version of My Favorite Things. I think maybe it was on a Christmas Album. The video is beautiful
wow i totally forgot about this song . definitely a good one
I think you would enjoy The Judds "Rockin to the Rhythm of the Rain". It's great fun.
If You Came Back From Heaven is one of her songs that hits even harder. You should add it to your list.
My fav is also 'Something in red' which is another ballad. Lorrie has a lot of great music & not all are ballads.
I lived this song, married 17 years with a son and he had an affair and just left...I literally almost died. He walked away from a woman that would've died for him and to this day he's not happy. But I remarried and went on to be very happy.
I’ve worked for The Opry for a quarter century. You definitely need to get out here
Don schlitz is an awesome songwriter. You should Google him and view some of his songs. He was a popular songwriter and many popular country artists recorded his songs.
She has another one about "catching the husband cheating"....the name of the song is "You had to be there" and Kris Kristofferson plays her husband
Daughter of country music star George Morgan 'Candy Kisses'
My go to karaoke song in 90s!!
Just remember an unguarded strength is a double weakness
I haven't heard this song in many years. I hit the radio the same week that I found out that my husband was cheating and wanted a divorce. This song was my anthem for a while.
George Morgan's Daughter. You might want to check out his song Candy Kisses. That is serious old school but I think you will enjoy it.
This was my divorce song. I literally walked in on my husband with another woman in a restaurant right before this song came out. I’ve seen Lorrie Morgan in concert. She was awes.
