I find that thickness and or length or both can depend on how it works along with your hair color for some odd reason .My hair was currently Black red and short length but my hair is pretty thick. My natural hair color is medium brown so keep that in mind too. And I found that the safest route to fade it out is to do a coconut oil water mist spray treatment , the following up with an bleach once with no ammonia. So what I have done so far is 10 coconut oil water mist spray treatments .How u do it; and what u will need: 1. A spray water mist bottle, 2. Coconut oil for hair only that u can u pump out, cold water and hot water not warm and not boiling either.U pour about almost a quarter of cold water first into the spray bottle, then a little less quarter of pumps of coconut oil for hair only into the water bottle. Shake really really good with lid on tight! ! Then section hair and lightly spray all over hair, then empty the water bottle throughly clean it out then add hot water into the water bottle from the sink and spray all over sectioned hair lightly. Leave on all day and all night Use a good clay conditioner for hair after a couple days then follow up with good healthy shampoo. Use hair dryer once its combed then after a couple more days your ready for the ammonia free bleach good luck yall!
I faded my colour with normal L’Oreal (density advanced) shampoo, hand wash and hydrogen peroxide I almost removed 90% of it and I had no damage on my bleached and coloured hair. Don’t forget to Use a lot of conditioner at the end Good luck 👌🏻
With this method you should leave it on your hair for at least an hour that’s how it works properly I do baking soda and washing up liquid and anti dandruff shampoo and leave it on for an hour or longer and that’s how it fades your hair leaving it on for only 10 minutes won’t do anything xx
Try adding crushed vitamin c pills with the baking soda and dandruff shampoo . My hair was exactly your color and it took most of it off:)) the salon I went to put hot pink instead of pastel pink -.- I strand test doing the dish soap baking soda purple shampoo I didn’t have 10 developer but it worked without it
I done this about 2 years ago on my black dyed hair I used the anti dandruff shampoo fairy up liquid and bicarbonate soda and my hair went a brown colour It defos works but you have to leave it in for about a hour 🙃 xx
Use baking soda, 10 volume peroxide, crushed vitamins c and dish soap/anti dandruff shampoo. I dye my hair blue alot and this mix usually gets it out with in 2 uses
I’ve just followed your advice and got rib of my bright pink hair, back to blonde. Great video. I just plopped it all in a bowl and slapped it on and it worked. Amazing 😉
The method WITH the developer WILL cause damage. I have seen other videos regarding this method and some of them say it does not damage your hair. That is 100% untrue! A word of caution. I have used that method before with great success. However, I left it on too long the last time and most of my hair broke off so badly I had to cut it all of. So I’m back with a disclaimer. Do not try this method if your hair isn’t healthy. If you do, do not use anything more than a 10v developer and do not leave it on past 15 min or do the process multiple times in a short period. Your hair WILL fall out!
BudgetBeat Beauty yes, you are correct. I tried it with the developer and my hair felt like straw afterwards. I thought it was the baking soda that ruined it. This method works but it does damage your hair, you’re better off using a color remover
Bleach is the only thing that. Works for me. But I wear my hair super short so I don’t get really any damage. I can’t take the smell of that oops hair stuff. I have tried this method that u did, but it left my hair a frazzled mess and the same color.
i tried it and added dish soap too. My hair is a light blue. It worked. Not entirely but it did. The blue is even lighter and in some areas it is completely gone.
hun hot water will remove any red or dark pink keep just shampooing your hair with hot water and it will fade it to a light pink then you can use a lightener use guy tangs big 9 and get the rest out.
@@cerisekelsey oh yeah it takes 2 to 3 washes unless you use a clarifying shampoo for it to fade, then its bleach all the way to get rid of it. i just did mine last night washed it and wow what a pink mess lol had to bleach the rest this afternoon.
I tried mixing dawn dishsoap and baking soda and it does work I went from pink hair to blonde again fast but I'm gonna warn you I don't recommend it because dried the shit out of my hair worse than bleach did. It's very bad for your hair I recommend just washing your hair in regular shampoo rather than our normal color care shampoo and it will fade on its own.
I think if you had washed it afterwards a few times with regular shampoo it would have helped get the rest of the dye out of your hair that had already lifted
That;s one thing I do not miss is the shower staining. Parts of my show are still blood red and I haven't had red hair since...a year and a half maybe two years ago :P

I went to the salon to dye my hair purple and so after they bleached it they added crazy color temp dye in the color Violette and after adding it my hair became green I was so fricking mad but at least it wasn't my whole head. I'm desperately trying to get it out. the lady said it's temporary but I don't even know anymore. she told me my hair would be purple but guess what ITS NOT

I hope you are able to get it out, but I think you probably won't get it out... You will have to fight the green with pastel pink to cancel the green out until it grows out... I dyed my hair purple and I had to bleach my roots, and I did it myself because no hair dresser wanted to bleach my purple hair... Long story short, now I am left with green hair that will stay forever..i bleached it again and it made the green lighter but also somehow brighter...but I dye it purple anyways and every once in a while I put a bit red into the color, when the color fades, it turns kind of silver before it turns back to green 😄

Do it why it's dry you're not supposed to apply the baking soda Solution on wet hair it works better why it's dry and then you put Solution on their set it there for an hour with the cap on then rinse it out and your hair will be blond
SHAKIRA SHAKIRA no problem! If you have blue in your hair it might take a second treatment. Blue is super stubborn. Make sure you saturate the hair evenly. I would leave it on for 15min then check it. It works pretty fast so don’t leave it on too long.
Does it take it back to the color it was before or your natural color. Before I colored it basically the same as hers my hair was blonde with pretty long medium brown roots. Will it go back to that or to my natural hair color? I just don’t think the pink suits me.
Meg Schroeder I just did this last week. My hair was bleached platinum and has since been dyed orange then red and then blue and purple. I didn’t rebleach between colors, just layered the colors because I knew they would cancel each other out. This process lightened my roots about a shade lighter and stripped all the layered colors out of my hair back to Its bleached state. So if you were already naturally blonde and didn’t bleach your hair it will go back to blonde probably a slightly lighter blonde. I would definitely use purple shampOo to prevent it from being brassy. Unless you’re going to put a different color after stripping it. I hope that helps :)
Wash your tub out thoroughly after every shower with extremely hot water. Scrub is lightly with comet or a scouring stick (which you can get at Walmart for less then 2 dollars) for any residual surface stains.
I want to ask a question i have a brown hair and i died it light brown , dark brown and red without bleach and i will use this method will my hair come back natural or no

@@cerisekelsey kinda. The dye I mentioned up above is a purple pinkish color. I put it on silver. The back is fading out. You can almost see the silver again. It's fading a little towards the front too. But kinda looks like I have some of the brighter color too, but in highlighted style. I have dark hair, so the silver completely ruined my hair. More than half my hair has been chopped off. A good portion of the length I have now is my roots growing back out. But towards the bottom is still "orchid." I put a bit of some highlights in to blend it in a little more. But it's over orange highlights. That's why I chose this color. Bc I just don't want to bother w/ the bleach as much anymore. I just want to eventually grow out so much hair & then just cut off the color completely. Prob try & take out the highlights & or just dye it back dark. It'll be a long process. But yeah, meanwhile it's just kind of a mess :/ of all the shades of orchid. I'm just happy my hair isn't dry stiff as damaged anymore. But I was not trying to get that much cut off, cough, great clips 😑. Long rant, but you asked :/. It's how I found your video.
whachu lookin at // sorry for kinda late reply but no it didn’t really work :( i ended up going to sally’s and purchasing the pinky color hair color remover it’s about $15 and the sally’s manager that was at the counter when i payed said that she always has to order it at the end of the week because so many people buy it. if you have long or thick hair i would buy 2-3 boxes because it’s pretty small but it works really good and it comes with a deep conditioner for after you use the remover :)
Bright Star I did everything to put moisture back into my hair and it still felt like rough and like there was baking soda in my hair still. I washed it 182627272 times to get the feeling out and nothing.
Washing your hair too much can damage your hair even more. Maybe try not washing your hair for a few days so it can gain back it’s natural oils and hydrate your hair!
Nah see my hair is like Satan. If I put pink in that washes out it just has to be bleached out. My hair sticks like glue whenever colour is near. I could bleed and my blood would stain my hair hahaha
Hey honey, don't purchase head and shoulders w/condtioner ( just the original ). I couldn't believe how many different types they have on the market now, gosh ! crazy.
most likely not. if you want to get rid of your blonde hair dye, your best bet is to just dye over it. most blonde hair dyes have bleach components and you can’t remove bleach from hair
Can this also remove bleach from your hair? I have dark brown hair and I coloured my hair purple but all I see is golden colour from the bleach and less purple and I want to remove it. Sooooooooo what I'm asking is: that can this remove the bleach and the dye and get my original colour back? Or will the colour be white after removing it? P.S: I'm a girl so this is my dad's account
Hey! Bleach works by removing colour from your hair, and therefore your natural hair colour will never come back to the hair that has been bleached. If you want to return to your natural colour you're in luck! Dark browns/blacks are the easiest to restore because they dye over other colours very easily! Your best course of action is to try and fade out the purple as much as possible and then get a dye as close as possible to your natural hair colour and dye over your whole head of hair. Best of luck! x

It's how I found your video.
i tried to dye my hair light pink and it came out magenta 🤦🏻♀️ trying this now
did it work?
whachu lookin at // sorry for kinda late reply but no it didn’t really work :( i ended up going to sally’s and purchasing the pinky color hair color remover it’s about $15 and the sally’s manager that was at the counter when i payed said that she always has to order it at the end of the week because so many people buy it. if you have long or thick hair i would buy 2-3 boxes because it’s pretty small but it works really good and it comes with a deep conditioner for after you use the remover :)
*me doing this at 1 am*
You have a window That is directly in your shower? What were the contractors thinking when then built that house.
Yeah! In NZ there are always windows in bathrooms! Is that not normal 😳😂
Baking soda made my hair feel like absolute shit. Never doing that again
Yes, it feels dry, but it changes the color. I used a hydrating mask after shampoo and conditioner.
Bright Star I did everything to put moisture back into my hair and it still felt like rough and like there was baking soda in my hair still. I washed it 182627272 times to get the feeling out and nothing.
Washing your hair too much can damage your hair even more. Maybe try not washing your hair for a few days so it can gain back it’s natural oils and hydrate your hair!
was the dye permanent or semi?
Semi!
where are you getting this 7 minutes from ?! I leave it on for like 45 !!
That’s what the internet said!!
can you use baking powder in larger amount instead of baking soda
Hmmm I dunno!
How long did you keep the mixture on your hair? 🙂
I think like 30 minutes!
Thank you 😊
Would this work on green hair also dose it dry out ur hair alot
Not sure! And yes it does!!
I try but it doesn't work for me
Do you have too use Head an shoulders shampoo?
Yes :)
You need to add 10% volume developer
Was you hair bleached
Beforehand
Is your hair dye fresh? Or u had it for weeks?
It’s months and months of dye and been done like 3 weeks before this
Can u put measurements?
I just winged it!
What I don’t understand is why you didn’t just wash your pink out.. pink fadesssss sooooooo fastttt. Like 10 washes and it’s almost gone.
Nah see my hair is like Satan. If I put pink in that washes out it just has to be bleached out. My hair sticks like glue whenever colour is near. I could bleed and my blood would stain my hair hahaha
I'VE GOT TO KNOW if head and shoulders 1+2 (conditioner) would be ok to strip color? Urgent
I guess so! Just not as effective!
Hey honey, don't purchase head and shoulders w/condtioner ( just the original ). I couldn't believe how many different types they have on the market now, gosh ! crazy.
my pink is now orange and it needs to levae
Vibes
Would any conditioner work I have dove is that oki?
I’m not sure! Sorry I’m not a professional!
Will any shampoo work?
I’m not sure!
No, head and shoulders anti dandruff with no conditioner
Can i use this method fir my blond hair to make it brown again?
Probably not!
there is no going back from bleached hair to brown unless you dye it.
To go to brown you just dye your blonde with brown hair dye again.
Don’t do it guys! it damages your hair so bad and it leaves it extremely dry, super nasty
No shit
1:06 corona virus 😂😂😂
Can i use baking powder instead of baking soda
I dunno! Could always try!
How many minutes?
Not sure!!
30-45
I’m using this to try and remove black from my hair it’s been a nightmare to remove so far
did it work?
Does it work on blonde dye? I want to get rid of my blonde hair dye.
I dunno. I wouldn’t say it would work on bleached hair cause bleach isn’t a pigment it’s like a stripper you know
most likely not. if you want to get rid of your blonde hair dye, your best bet is to just dye over it. most blonde hair dyes have bleach components and you can’t remove bleach from hair
I love how read all ur comments
Hey you took the time to comment so I can take the time to reply x
Remove color Only or do this remove chemical also
Not sure!
I don’t think it will remove bleach :(
Best of luck! x
Leave it in for 30 minutes
im confused because you were trying to remove the color, but it looks like absolutely nothing happened...
Yeah it didn’t really work!
@0:20 "so I don't stain it pink"
No yes you're absolutely right we don't want to stain a pink shirt more pink. That is horrendous
It’s different shades darl
Use developer 10-20vol with the same mix.
Does that strip the color
What hair dye did you use?
Directions Cerise
You have to leave it longer and a few times more
Put little domex to it...hair will be glossy
I will remove my golden lighthigh so plz tell me i apply this idea on my hair
I dunno you could try!!
Are u Able to use any shampoo
Just anti dandruff I think!!
Prell shampoo will strip color and perm. Leave in for a while . I have never tried with baking soda.
I don’t have that shampoo!!
Thanks so much....
Does this work with permanent dye?
I don’t think so sorry hunny.
