One of the hidden or unnoticed reason for tamilnadu's revenue is their temples. Nearly 80,000 temples in tamilnadu which give them most unnoticed income.

@@vijayakumar2967 😆😆😆 yeah tasmac and transportation (private bus) was a main source income of tamilnadu but they are mostly owned by politicians or even high tier government employees 😁. And in these two source of income creates lot of unbilled(black money) amounts 🤐. So we don't know the exact number. And not included is RDO sector income that is also most unnoticed or unbilled income sources are there.

One point is the mindset. I work in mumbai. I have many friends who are from different parts of India. Most of my Bihari friends give too much value to the money. They don't even care where it comes from. It's like accepting bribe is their right. We blame politicians but politicians don't come from space. They are people selected from our own community. They are the face of the society. 1 or 2 corrupt politicians can be exception but when you got whole bunch of corrupt politicians that simply means there is something wrong with the mindset of the people.

Union Government funds are liberally and shamelessly diverted to Gujarat at the cost of the other states. We don't get the tax rupees that we should be getting from the Union Government after contributing so much to the exchequer. Despite all this neglect and poor Governance and rampant corruption at the highest corridors of power the State has progressed.
