But that is not it, Gujarat is the second fastest growing state in India, and will soon overtake Tamil Nadu to become the third largest economy. Gujarat's population is even lesser than TN. Gujarat already dominates manufacturing and exports, where it is number one state and no other state even comes close. That is why Gujarat is called the manufacturing powerhouse of Bharat. Anyway, i love healthy competition between states, and i have lots of respect for TN and Tamil people, culture and language.

4:42 Yes, it could be more better to go with GDP per Capita to measure the people's wealth while comparing between two different and distinct populated area like between states or countries. So to say Tamilnadu like state have very few population count compare to UP. So of course the UP GDP can be higher than TN oneday but it because of population only not with their economy. There is a worst case if their population growth rate higher than the GDP growth rate UP will suffer. But they can say their GDP proudly only for namesake.

But you have to understand the fact that your UP's avg single person's monthly wealth accumulation is less than 8750 which is less than my monthly student stipend and below poverty line percentage is 22.93 but TNs single person's monthly wealth accumulation is 23300 in avg and below poverty line percentage is 4.1 based on this data quality of life of UP people is 3 time worst than TN people. I think you said that your state UP is better than Tamilnadu in poverty 😅
