Thanks for the input: I found the definition for the difficulty rating at www.onxmaps.com/offroad/app/features/technical-trail-ratings. It looks like it's actually a 6/10. Meaning: Very rocky, rutted and off-camber trail with erosion, loose rocks, sand, washes and obstacles up to 3 feet tall, including ledges and short, steep grades. Potential for deep water crossings with strong currents. To qualify as a 7/10 the obstacle has to be at least 5 feet tall. Next time I will take a tape measure. :-)
I just discovered how onX ratings work. If I understand it correctly, a 3 foot obstacle makes it a 6/10. www.onxmaps.com/offroad/app/features/technical-trail-ratings. Yes, many times. The first time was time on our 2nd ride ever in the Bolders, near Florence, AZ. Check out the video: th-cam.com/video/P8CfHo9qkuI/w-d-xo.html
Great video. You did a super job blending in the music, narration and actual sound track.
I appreciate the positive feedback. Thanks!
7 out of 10????? No way was that more than a 6.99999. Villain is still looking great!
