It’s amazing how long it takes to find something you know is there. It makes you realise how lucky you are to find something by chance
For sure, it shows you patience is definitely needed in this hobby. You can miss a rare find by an inch. Other days you find it in seconds with no problems. This time though I had to dig all the trash first haha

When that ring hit the water it began to bloop bloop bloop flip and flop all sorts of ways as it rode its own created current and bubbles which means it is further away than they think.

One thing I found out about tungsten carbide rings is, they bounce like crazy.

When I work on vehicles and drop a wrench I know right where it is. It’s laying in the exact geographical center of the vehicle, can’t reach it from anywhere. That ring looks like it was on the centerline of that boat hull.
