0:15 US doesn't use AMV, Patria and Lockheed Martin partnered up for the Amphibious Combat Vehicle trial, but Lockheed Martin backed out and offered something else. The winner of the trial is Iveco SuperAV. Side note, neither does the UK operate the AMV, they haven't even tested it, so your whole sentence is a lie, which doesn't look good since it's one of the first things you say..
Uk and usa troops have been sitting in those trough the years. Fin peace keepers even took part of combat once when they evacuated usa troops from some god forsaken village in afganistan.
@@hornantuutti5157 still doesn't change the fact that he claimed that US and UK OPERATE the latest version AMV XP, which is a blatant lie, or are you trying to say sitting in it once or twice means operating it?
neither do the Japanese to my knowledge, they have apparently ordered a version, but don't operate it yet, though for the Americans, there was the Marine Personnel Carrier -program where Patria co-operated with Lockheed-Martin, the MPC program was later absorbed into another DOD program (I believe the program was called ACV 1.2), as far as I am aware that one was scrapped as well, but technically the US military HAS operated AMVs in an evaluation capacity.
US stryker is based on Patria AMV and Japan made deal with Patria build AMV XP's in Japan. Other countries are also South-Africa, Chec's Croats, Polish at name Rosomak, Australia etc... and it is most battle tested IFV today.
@@hullutsuhna Stryker is product of general dynamics landsystem's and ques what Patria is also part of that exact same company since the AMV is there licence product just like example NEMO is and that is the reason why USMC is as we speak testing NEMO system to the strykers since it bases on same modular planing as the patria AMV and dose not need modification on it hull. So take a little more backround cheking.

G'day to you,Very impressive Vehicle, hats of to the Fins!!

Masi. Maasto sisu translated terrain sisu. Aka The 2 axle version.
Oké. Now I want one !!
Perhaps you'd prefer SISU GTP as it's a bit more practical.

U.K. armed Forces do not have this vehicle or have they ever used it.

Has the UK participated in UN peacekeeping missions? Cos if they have, they probably are familiar with Armoured Sisu.

Sisu used to be a truck brand… Well, still is but PaSi is Panssaroitu Sisu -> Armored Truck(brand)
