My 1972 holden HQ GTS Replica finally coming home, LS2 6.0L with big cam with 6speed auto. No seats or any interior currently.

There's something that Americans and Australians had in common in the 60's and 70's.....we both built muscle cars. No other countries did. RIP Holden.

Awesome colour and wheels, the reverse scoop goes so well with the car and it sounds amazing.

She was sitting under a car cover for about 2 years, just waiting to be finished. She needed electrics, minor mechanical work and interior finished. She's back in the work shop now, finally getting finished, exciting times ahead.

I used to run cragar 14×7 and 8s with 50×265 on the rear when I had one...sat really low and personally I think 14s are so much more suited to old school, nice car but
Love it, I've got a 74 GTS 4 door. Just going through the stages of putting in a 383 LS1 stroker and looking at bonnet options. Which 1 do you have there and what size cowl? I've been chatting with Ezi-Glass in melb as they do a fibreglass 1 with cowl for a reasonable price, I just need to specify height.
I got it from a group called Alpha fiberglass im pretty sure. And its 4"

My uncle had his own performance shop for 20 years. He sold the shop abd moved to The states. The shops no longer since he left, sorry mate.

My Uncle is a mechanic and did the most of of the conversion.

The other option is money :) Sedans cost a fair bit less than 2 doors. I bought my coupe in the early 90's so the price wasn't exorbitant like they are today but I sold my fully original 74 GTS sedan shortly after for $2000. One of lifes little regrets.
