is it possible that you can actually show these fixes/repairs on a drive that is actually having this problem. As non of these works currently for me. Computer does not even want to restart after uninstalling via device manager. In disk management the disk giving the problem does not even show
Hi there, using the chkdsk command, I tried to fix my external HDD but it didn't work. Initially, It seemed working by displaying the file system type (NTFS), however, the chkdsk process was ultimately aborted and a message pops out saying "the first NTFS boot sector is corrupt or unreadable". It then seems trying to read the second sector (displayed such a message) but again, it states that it's unable to determine its volume and state. Ultimately, I couldn't access my data. Any help ???
