Thanks a lot your video was great he was telling me I need a window regulator and it's just a channel I took the door part and looked at it thanks a lot for being really in-depth on your videos and keep up the great work sir 😎👌👍
Thanks man. My driver's side window had gotten a catch in it about 1/4 the way rolling it up. Well after a year of, "I need to look into that", the window to my surprise ended up cockeyed in the door yesterday.
I don’t know if you even still use this account but I’d love to see more about this I’ve got my own 84 s10 that I’m gonna start fixing up and turn into a project truck with my dad and stuff like this is nice to watch in general and extremely helpful for me
What adhesive did you use to put your moisture barrier up? Thank you for this video. My little '91 S10 is still trucking, but has had trouble with the windows! Your video will be very helpful for my next little project in restoring him (his name is Hugo.)
Hey man cool video! where can i purchase all the parts that i need to fix my window. i have the same truck. My truck is missing that small peice that connects to that small hole on the window.
Hi gentleman! I hope you are well. I have a 1985 s10 pickup and need to purchase several parts for it. You would be so kind to tell me about some stores where I can buy the accessories. Thank you for your attention. Kind regards from R Dominicana 🇩🇴
Great video with helpful info. Quick question. When it comes to replacing the vapor barrier, what do you use to adhere it down? I have an 89 s10 that needs the exterior door handles as well as the window seals that you replaced done. I figure I'd get it all out of the way while the door panels are off. I've not poked in so I don't know what the condition of the barriers are. But I'd rather be prepared to replace it than rush around mid project picking things up.
I don't know what type of camera trick you used to get that passenger window glass back in, but I'm gonna try it tonight on my sons truck. If this window doesn't break, I will give you a shoutout... it's been 3 days of wrestling with that thing to no avail... LOL
@@3Wheels1Block on the passenger side it didn't go as easy as the driverside.I spent a couple hours trying to get the front part in then I realized if I took the channel run back off when I rolled the wondow halfway it rocks back and forth.I tilted the window forward towards the fender installed the new window channel then rocked the window back in the channels of the molding and it went fast.I probably could have done it on an hour if I knew that.
Hello, thank you very much for sharing this video, it has been really interesting and very instructive. I have a s 10 from the year 1985 and I need to buy several spare parts for it. It would be so kind to tell me where I can buy them. Thank you for your attention and kind regards from the Dominican Republic 🇩🇴
Hey did you replace the window locking clips? I have yet to find any clips that clip into the window molding and stay. The tabs seems to not hold on the rubber like there to short
Where can I get the metal channel brackets that you said not to damage? Mine was damaged during the disassembly. The channels are pretty easy to find, but I can’t find the metal brackets.
Hi i have a 91 s10 Chevy blazer an i am putting a new window in the drivers door can you tell me where i can get the glass guides i can not find them any where thank you
It's very interesting that most of these window channel felt replacement vids for GM trucks do it without removing the glass. It actually looks easier with the window out. But I understand that removing the glass seems scary. Break the glass and you're in a heap of hurt.
You can try eBay. I got a pair of used ones for my 93 pretty cheap. You can also try LMC truck for new ones. Just remember to match your color closely. Good luck!
Awesome information for the person who likes to do his own work & save money when you think of it.😊😊😊😊😊

Was there felt or flocking on replacement rubber?
No we just did one and that was the whole reason we ordered it lol it didn’t come with the metal strips to lock it in or nothing like that

Butyl tape. 3M makes the stuff I've used before.
Thanks! I was just going to use Gorillia Tape but that looks like it'll be better.

If you are referring to the black clips on the sides of the glass, then yes, I did replace them.
