- The Larger Consciousness - Annie Besant - Esoteric Audiobook. This Audiobook Lecture was taken from the book: Theosophy and the New Psychology: A Course of Six Lectures, by Annie Besant. This book was intended as an aid to students in their study of the growth and development of consciousness, offering hints and suggestions which might prove useful to them. It is a contribution to the science of psychology. She writes that the seed of consciousness is the Atma-Buddhi-Manas, the Jivatma. The Super-consciousness includes the whole of the consciousness above the waking-consciousness, like dreams, visions, inspirations, etc. To bring the super-consciousness into manifestation on the physical plane, Besant proposes (in the early stages) to render the brain and sense-organs unresponsive to physical impacts and to induce Trance. This can be done by using the methods of Yogis. But she also says that there is a difference between the super-physical conditions of consciousness in the hypnotised subject and in the Yogi. As a Ph.D hypnotherapist with extensive client experience as well as personal spiritual experiences i would like to commend you for this offering at this time. I have long known that for man to truly seek truth they need a Taste of the God presence first; only to have that taste withdrawn man puts forth the work and effort needed to bring that oneness into every day practice of unity. While on this material plane we think in a linear way due to the experience of TIME on this plane of reality. Yet on the spiritual plane when we purposefully let go and enter into the NOW perception becomes systemic as time fades away. Mankind has been held in a negative trance of social hypnosis which has strengthened through modern media and devices which continuously offer suggestions to fetter the mind of man, Break free from suggestion THINK, Every time you I do not want something your higher mind makes an image which is perceived as something to manifest as a positive thought

Theosophy is all about understanding subtle vibrations as we being modern people went away from nature and now living miserable lifestyle.
We know c amount of potassium needed for diet, y amount of amino acid needed for body, but what about spiritual food? That should be our prime concern.

We are surrounded by so many vibrations that we are not aware of because we made ourself non receptive like a dumb creature.
