Just bought the Q60 Luxe and even with 300hp its plenty fast. I agree its tts tops in luxury, features, materials and comfort. The infotainment system is a bit overly complicated but i quickly got used to it. Styling inside and out is the best of any new car to my eyes, even though it dates to 2017. Only major complaint is lack of steering road feel but i got used to that too. Overall love the car and your review. Good job.

I agree that these analog gauges are far better than the fully digital ones. I don't get why other reviewers fawn over the digital gauges.
I get it, I’m a nerdy gadget guy but when it comes to cars I love a well done analog gauge. Kind of like watches.
I own one of these and it's given me no issues. Does the job and super FUN. Totally agree with you in terms of the double stack. Not sure why peoople giggve it the hate. I LOVE the double screen.
I have a Nintendo 3DS I use still and secretly wish flip phones become a thing again so I was totally ok with their decision lol. Great car you have by the way!
Because it’s dated and redundant … they haven’t changed this car since it came out for the most part (inside (and out especially)….same with the Q50
I was thinking about getting one but I’m not sure if it’ll be a good idea since I have a 7 year old kid, is there pleaty of room in the rear seat?
@@Alex-yg7ru I just got this same exact one. Color and everything. My tall 10 year old daughter has plenty of room in the back seat. And what people say about the double screen. It nice having CarPlay running with the maps on the top screen and everything else on the bottom.

I LOVE this car so much I bought it 2x... 1st the base model, then traded it off and bought the Q60 RS ... also like the dual screens! hate the models with the screen just plopped on the dash like an after thought. SO SAD to see this car go, almost got a 2022 one last week!

The infotainment and 2 screen layout is amazing. I find it funny how reviewers can't figure out the most basic, convenient, and easy to use infotainment system in any car

@@Neutralreviews Reach for the stars! Keep putting out that great content and you'll get there. Its a tough slog for Canadian YT content creators. One thing I noticed in your review, the little button on the front seat on the outside of the headrest will automatically return the seat to its normal position. My kids have mastered that feature! Interesting as well, I have the I-Line Non ProActive package (which is now slightly modified), the exhaust tips on your tester appeared to be different from the Vibrant Performance axleback with the 3" finishers. Did the dealer install something different? Additionally, for Q50/60 owners with an aftermarket exhaust, turn off the pumped in exhaust audio for a more realistic aftermarket exhaust experience.
@@jimwallace4164 great call on the button and glad to hear there is another car enthusiast that squeezes their offspring into the back of their sports car lol. Bought my BRZ for that very reason;) And the dealer said they installed exhaust and intakes but I can’t remember anymore that that. Great suggestions for other lucky Red Sport owners!! Thanks again 🤝
It's the end of an era! I have a 2017 Q60 S, wish I bought the RS.
I saw one the other day and thought what a shame because it was so nice. I saw a Z the other day and I was very disappointed at the interior. 65k and it looked like a base Corolla. The RS is gorgeous.
I'm driving this baby and loving it every moment. Too bad, INFINITY decided not to build them anymore switching to a heartless electro.

Each front seat has a button near the handle so when sitting in the rear seat you click it and the seat moves to its original position

@@Neutralreviews yep! You'll get way better performance. In case you're wondering, I went with the Lexani LX Twenty tires. Infiniti Helmoltz exhaust and Infiniti (ams red alpha) intakes. All sold by Infiniti so no warranty broken. Me personally don't need a tune. I'm very happy with my stock 400hp. Lol
Great review TJ! Also, I can't tell you how much I appreciate hearing a Canadian pronounce Nissan correctly! It's like nails on a chalkboard every time I hear someone pronounce it Nisson. I don't know how people don't feel stupid pronouncing an A the same as an O!🤷🏻♂️

Unfortunately, the Q60 was discontinued for 2023. I love my 2021 but the car needs a refresh
I be thinking this Q60S a twin turbo V6 pumping 400hp and 180mph on the dash I think it could gap a naturally aspirated V8 mustang wich has like 60+ horsepower but only 160mph on the dash
Great GT car for the money. I think enthusiasts would opt for something without back seats and lighter like a Supra or the new Z. Nice review.
Thank you! Side note, I was amazed at the factory exhaust and shocked because everything I’ve seen so far on the new Z has it pretty quiet.
@@Neutralreviews I would say the Q60 is rather quiet compared to most cars in its class. Even with a full cat-back exhaust, it doesn’t really open up until you put some catless lower downpipes.

Needs some mods to bring out sport side. Lighter rims, intakes, exhaust, heat exchanger, lighter rotors, tune. Why I opted for a sub 24000 mile 2018 rs400 so i had funds for that work. Back seat isn't that bad if you aren't 6 foot.

@@Neutralreviews don't think oem intakes or oem heat exchanger would void warranty. Of course you should do the exhaust and tune because if you suck in more air you need more flow on exhaust than stock. Dealer said I wouldn't void warranty for bolt ons and tune as long as I didn't exceed factory boost rating but then didn't tell me what it was.... 🤔

I used to work for Dodge and that was our policy but when I asked my Subaru dealer I bought it off they said no…I think I just need to find a dealer closer to a bigger city where they see more mod’d cars and know what to worry about. Can’t wait though!!
Problem is that the 2018 is just as quick as the 2022....why spend the cash, when the options even don't warrant it

Love my Q60. Get the aftermarket tesla screen that combines the dual screen into one with the android operating system and the interior is modernized. The tesla screen can be used for media like netflix, youtube, spotify and has the ability to run multiple apps simultaneously. Would recommend getting the premium or luxe model since you can tune the car easily for extra horse power. Only exclusive red sport option are those beautiful red seats. Overall I don’t regret buying my Q60 and I plan on keeping it for a very long time. I also came from a 2013 scion FRS

@@Alex-yg7ru I only had it for a day but it seemed a tiny bit better than my BRZ. I think if he likes cars (willing to suck it up lol) and you can move either of the front seats to even the middle position, he might be ok (not for a road trip but short runs). It’s no hatchback but for us, to have a fun 2nd car we can technically all go in is worth the compromise.
The 2 screen infotainment is way better. Convenient, easy, and most of all simple. The tesla screen complicates it and I'm good off that 😂
Just bought a 2020 Q60.
I really do enjoy the car.
I held off on the Red Sport because AMS offers a stage 1 package that beats the Red Sport #'s for a good bit less money than the RS price tag over the Pure.
RS rwhp #'s are around 350, not 400.
AMS stage 1 puts down about
410 rwhp.

Agreed! I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was and I feel like i drove the automatic version of the new Z with performance exhaust that actually sounded like it’s name! It’s a shame. Beautiful, under appreciated car!
That's why I'm not selling my Q60 lol. I feel this car will be somehow unique in the future.

No, this year is a flop, as far as the mainstream audience is concerned. They're not keeping up with the times. It doesn't offer enough options, newer options, it's not that futuristic as the competition. I'm not buying a new one, when my 2018 still has most of the features of this one and Imy 2018 is just as fast as the 2022 (I made it faster).... I pray they stay afloat for the next 5 years....looking forward to an electric Q down the line....

Don’t need all the tech. These new cars with the 12” screens are not the play . All you really need is CarPlay or Android. I never use the car’s navigation system. Got that on my phone plus music. I’m good 🤷🏾.

But for mere $65k you can get this out dated car. By the end of this year they’ll have to mark them down to $50k to get them off the lot. Lot’s of them at dealers all around me just sitting there. A few see the hand writing and have them marked down $7k already. Sexy as hell on the outside but it doesn’t stand a chance at this price to compete. 😢
