Looks just like a Dish Network 722 from around 2009. FYI that is a dual receiver and can run two TV's independently. You will need a dish network RF remote(the little wafer on the bottom of the remote that has a green number 1 on it can be taken out and flipped over to a blue number 2- then program by going to System Info screen and pressing the record button on the TV2 remote [menu 6 - 1 - 3]) and a small antenna for the "remote antenna" port on the back of the receiver. The yellow coax port is to run to your second TV in another room- then you push the "mode" button on the front of the receiver and the yellow light should change from the one screen to two screens on the front of the receiver. Next set the second TV to either air channel 60 or cable channel 73 (defaults)(you may need to do a channel scan to pick it up) and you should now have two TV's on one box. You can make the remote antenna out of a piece of coax, just cut a 6" piece of coax and strip all the jacketing and dielectric off of the center conductor for about 4 inches or so and make sure there is no metal contacting it.

    • @peterfairlie2296

Sadly this was never an option with Bells receivers although you could simply watch 1 and record 2 at the same time. The 2 TV tuners sure would have been nice back in the day for NFL

The core function of the RemoteMix is to do magic on phone lines for remote media broadcast. But, it can also be used like this.
The front end is very high impedance and presents almost no load to the phone line. Actually, much less than an extension phone for example. If it didn't, it would "pick up" the line on its own. Since it doesn't, you can generally assume (in this situation) that it's not affecting the line.

Sounds to me like the distant modem isn’t hearing yours. It’s possible that monitor box is dragging the signal level down too low. Try it without it.

Man all these boxes and wires is useless just get a couple of IPTV providers with an Apple TV or a Fire TV Stick and your good 😊👍👌

But you still have to sub an IPTV provider and pay for internet. With my satellite hookup it's totally FREE.

No, you don't need any internet at all to watch TV using my hack as the TV signal is coming directly from a satellite.
