As a mom to four grown sons and two daughters. I never stressed the pacifier and potty training stuff. My philosophy that I always kept in mind and laughed about was that I never saw anyone of them at the prom wearing a diaper or with a pacifier in their mouth. It all comes together.

I find the grill is much easier to clean with a wet towel/rag instead of a paper towel. 👍🏻 Paper towels just get ripped up and don’t fully do the job imo
I put the things around the house away at the end of each day then its not a big job later. Mostly i just am in the habit of putting away once done. I like to go to bed knowing I dont have to wake up to mess in the morning which stresses me out. I have a OCD habit of checking each room to make sure everything is in its place at night. The dishwasher goes on after dinner when full and then it gets put away in the morning. I do have washing hanging around on Airers for days tho as i figure its a contained tidy mess.

The passifier can be hard but like potty training i think that it is harder on the parents then kids. My eldest had an easier time then my second son with the transition. I think that is because my second started off as a thumbs sucker and was more naturally inclined to self sooth that way. With both we worked on wake time before sleep, then naptime and then bed time. Once they gave up the naps (also happened around age 3) it was a smoother stransition. Just remember it does not all have to hapen at once and might take a few weeks. I'll send positive thoughts your way on the transition.
We transitioned our 2 year old to a toddler bed and took away his binky at the same time and I HIGHLY recommend it!! It was a method I hadn’t heard anyone try so I’m trying to shout it from the rooftops to anyone and everyone! So if you’re reading this and dreading the transition definitely give it a try. He was so excited about his bed he barely noticed his binky was gone!
The eternal debate. Do I watch now to feed my soul during work, or do I wait until I can clean my apartment which is a disaster? It's often easier to clean if I'm also watching/listening to someone cleaning. Bit of an odd thing This may be a "Both. Both is good" situation.
